Happy Sunday folks ✨ Who doesn't love a good boulder?! We've made it to the white mountains of New Hampshire, ready to tackle one of the most famous drives in New England. Hope you enjoy 💛
Can't believe it's nearly a year since finding Scout. Almost brings tears to the eyes remembering that time. Wonderful video both, don't worry you will find a 4 legged wild animal at some point 🐻🦬🦌 The autumn colours are wonderful hear in Hampshire England but can't beat the New Hampshire colours. Fabulous as always. Safe Travels Travels Both, Keep Loving the Adventure ❤
Thank you Asa 🥰 Can’t believe it’s been a year too, it’s like he’s always been with us! The only four legged animals we’re finding are other peoples pets 😂 Glad to hear autumn is looking beautiful back home, it’s definitely turning into winter here now. Sending love from all of us xx
The story of Scout is so sweet, I remember watching it and thinking oh they’re gonna take Scout with them. Then bawled my eyes out when you did! I was so happy for him and you. It was/is such a special connection.
Robin I started crying just editing that tiny bit of the video! Seeing what state he was in, recognising things in him that we’ve now come to know as his little quirks, made me so emotional. We are so lucky he found us 💛💛
Thank you for visiting my home state and saying such nice things. We have a lot of uk exparts living here. I had to subscribe to your channel and love it. Come back anytime!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Right now you should be in Pennsylvania Amish country. The weather is warming up for a week 65f to 70f and the Fall colors are just getting into peak. There is so much to see in each state. I realize you can only do so much. If you want summer type weather just drive south of Virginia! Enjoy!
Hahah you really hate the cold weather don’t you! 🥶 We’re making our way south now, bit by bit! Can’t wait to feel that warm sun again 🌞 29 Celsius in Miami! 🙌🙌
@@OverlandingSophia I'm older. When I was your age cold weather was fine, now it goes through me. I mostly like 65f to 85f. I really hope you go to Key West.

Thanks for bringing me peace, tranquility and smiles🙂 The first thing I noticed when you pulled into the laundromat what is the little sign that said bakery 🍩 And the shot from inside the dryer was really cool. Great video! First time watching and you were in my neighborhood! Glad you enjoyed your time in New Hampshire. I've lived in Conway for 21 years and have never been to Madison Boulder. Can't wait to see more of your adventures.
Thank you Andrea! 🥰 New Hampshire was so beautiful and Conway was the cutest town, although you need to get to Madison Boulder ASAP! The forest around it was spectacular too 😍 xx
Have to tell you my Ben and Jerry's story. We did the tour and the stairway up at the start is painted black and white like a fresian cow. When I commented, sarcastically, on that, the woman behind me responded (I wasn't talking to her) that ice cream comes cows! A little girl then said "no it doesnt! It comes from the refrigerator!!! Be told lady!!!! I thought I may not stop laughing!!!! 😉
Yay, might have been anti-climatic at the end, but what a week! Though, bit of a tear-jerker looking back at Scout's journey. Can't help thinking he's a special soul sent to two special people. Looking forward to next week's adventure, and seeing what you make of Salem, it's bound to be surreal and just a little bit crazy! Take care, safe travels! xx
I got so emotional editing that clip! Just watching back through the footage and seeing how much he’s grown as a pup. Broke my heart, in a good way! Salem should be very interesting!! Got a pretty manic week planned ahead 🥴💛
Ah Sunday wouldn't be Sunday without Sophia. Today we have Jitts,Tread & Sophia the holy trinity of the van world.A great vlog as always guys.! And Ben all I have to say is "I ain't afraid of no ghost" Who ya gonna call Van Busters! All the best!
Lovely video this week. Good to see the dogs having a great time, I notice that Scout is allowed to run free now. You obviously trust him not to run off. Looking forward to next weeks film.
Thank you Chris 💛 Yes we can let him off lead but only when there’s no other dogs around. We have long leads for dog parks etc as he still gets very overexcited around other dogs. So if he’s on a lead, there’s a good reason. We love having them both off lead whenever we can 💛
I'm sorry but Dunkin Donuts is really terrible and overpriced. If you go into most supermarkets food stores to their bakery, donuts are far better with a bigger selection, and can be half the price. 👍🏻🎃🎃🎃🌞
We would have loved to! But we'd had an expensive month already with everything we'd done and seen in Maine, so we couldn't really afford it unfortunately.
Can't wait for next week, i'm all about halloween! Those orange colours everywhere are just a treat! I can't believe how Scout looked like just a year ago, he is so happy and healthy now, there's no comparison! Until next week! xx 💕
We're going to both! Argentina is the ultimate destination but Baja marks the end of the first leg of the trip. After that, we'll be hitting the official Pan American 😊
@@sandraford3788 It can get confusing, especially as we’re doing this start of the trip a little differently by not going straight to Alaska. Thank you for the kind words too, that really means a lot and love that you’re enjoying the videos 💛💛
Such stunning autumn colours! Can't believe that it was 2 years ago that you were in Sicily and 1 year since adopting scout!! Wow. He looks so healthy now and your right Ben he🐕 probably wouldn't have survived without you guys rescuing him. 🤗
@@OverlandingSophia yeah I found you guys when you were in Sicily I think it was while watching LEAW if not mistaken you were both in contact. I live in Sicily 😊
I just discovered your channel and had to chuckle about a comment you made about McDonald's and there not being as many as you thought there would be. I am 80 years old, grew up in New England, left when I was 18 and only go back for visits. Here is the scoop! McDonald's came to be in the early 60's. It spread quickly through the USA except in New England. The wealthy powers that be of these small towns thought it would ruin the reputation of the charming towns and villages. Think if a McDonald's would want to open shop in one of your small charming English villages. In the 80's and 90's when other fast food restaurants were making money all over the country some of the larger towns, now being run by a younger group of citizens, began accepting these fast food restaurants.
Thank you for this! Wish more places protected themselves against the onslaught of mass consumerism! Have to say, have seen a lot more on our journey south.
If you are in the Hooksett, NH area (southern NH) on Saturday, Nov 5 you are welcome to join my friends and I at our annual "Ciderfest" party. About 30 of us crush apples, drink craft beer, and sit around a bonfire. Everyone goes home with a gallon of fresh apple cider. We would love to hear your travel stories. Drive safe - Matt O'Mara
Ah Matt, thank you so much for this invite! We would have been there in a heartbeat but we will be down New York way by November the 5th 💔 Sounds awesome though!
New subscriber here. So sad you guys missed peak foliage season in the White Mountains by about two weeks. The color in CT is even past peak the week before Halloween. Enjoy Salem for Halloween, should be crazy.
Hello and welcome! Thank you for joining us 💛 It’s not so bad, we’ve seen incredible colour as we’ve driven down the east coast from Nova Scotia! Impossible to time these things right?!
I began to follow you because of you adopted Scout, so it's been one year, didn't regret a bit. I also following Philly and Keeley (I saw them on your hilarious Turkish bath video then I followed them, also love them so much like I love you), one of their video you were trying to help a dog in Serbia over phone while you were (I think) in Canada, they tried but they couldn't achieve because of the stupid formalities , I'm trying to say that, your kind of people is too rare, I can see your pure golden hearts and I'm very happy to see this, you give me hope about humanity :)) love you guys, kisses from Scout's country ;)
Asli!!! We love you! 💘💘 Thank you for the love and the kind words. One year of Scout, he’s the absolute best and our wonderful forever souvenir of Turkey 🇹🇷 Yes we’ve been having a nightmare with the dog in Serbia, but we will rescue her too! There’s lots going on in the background here 😥 Sending the biggest hugs to you and one of our favourite countries in the world 🫶 xxx
New England is gorgeous in the fall isn't it. I was trying to work out why I didn't know the Kancamangus highway but then I remembered, we last visited in 1997!!!!!!! 🤯. I do remember driving up Mount Washington tho. That was worth the effort but I have no memory of a cost....
Another great video and ya that Madison boulder does look like a stranded whale :) One of the things that gives me positive vibes is the goodness in humanity you guys are experiencing. In our crazy world, it's nice to see. :) Gotta say I'm really enjoying the experience of travelling with you guys (in an internet/UA-cam type of way haha) vicariously. 🎶Highway to ice-cream 🎶...love it! Have fun, stay safe. :)
Thanks so much David 💛 One thing we love about the road is that you get to experience a country so much more deeply than if you were just on holiday or passing through tourist towns. I’m so happy you’re enjoying coming along for the ride with us, we’re stoked to have you 🥰 xx
Absolutely loving your road trip guys i just love all the content in your video's, there just great, keep um coming please, stay safe and just enjoy, a very envious kev from Derby uk 🇬🇧 😊
I've lived in the northeast all my life, how is that I've never heard of that creepy museum, the big Boulder in the middle of the woods or the grand canyon of Maine!? It's crazy that I'm just learning about them now on your newly discovered vlog but I'm loving it!
By any chance, was the name of the golden retreiver Sampson or Baylor? I just heard an amazing story about these two goldens that live in Vermont and hike the trails everyday and go home in the evenings via the podcast "This is Love".
We never found out his name! But this was New Hampshire on the border with Maine so a long way from Vermont and probably not the hiking pups! That's such a cute story though 🐶
I envy you both, as I Grew-up in Northern Midwest, with Full Fall color spectrum to view. Now, where I retired, is mainly yellow fall colors,, in good years. The harsh drought we have left trees leaves fallen already (to dry). Great vlog!
I hope you were able to relive some of the autumn colours through the video! Back home in the UK we don’t really get vibrant colours so it was amazing to see the kaleidoscope of colours 🍂💛
Hi guys, we've been following you for nearly 3yrs now, your still our favourite UA-camrs, hopefully we will be doing the same'ish journey as you next year, in your opinion what's the best time to see the full Autumn colours, safe journey,
This is amazing to hear, thank you. Really means a lot to us 💛 Predicting the fall colours can be difficult, we missed New Hampshire peak by a week or so, but we were in Maine and saw them at their peak there, so it really depends. I'd say aim to be in New England for a couple of weeks beginning the 1st of October and you should be there for peak foliage 🍂
Wow loved this video!! What an amazing autumb colors! Time flies when your havin fun! That it is already 1 year that Scout found you. He is so Lucky! Love his caracter and Rivers aswell. Safe travels Cheska and Ben. Bay Ingrid.
Another great video, I am from Maritime Canada, but I got to admit New England is very beautiful, their fall colours are almost as beautiful as ours (just kidding) can't wait to see the next one, love your channel.
Haha I’m not even going to get into that controversial topic of who has the best fall colours 😂😂 But you know how much we fell in love with the Maritimes! A visit in the autumn would be magical 💛
Don't know if you're heading that way but Whiteface Mountain in Lake Placid NY is nice - Fort Ticonderoga is near there too - great big battles betwen the English and the French too place there. Oh and be careful of moose especially on foot - they can charge, trample and then say 'oh it's a human I better get out of here' afterwards
Thanks for the recommendation! Have added it to our map 💛 As for the moose, we’ve been on the Atlantic coast and in Canada since August and haven’t seen so much as a moose poo 😂
Oh, I hope you do get into Salem, that would be so cool to be there during Halloween. I loved that friendly soul of a dog who met you at the boulder walk-in. Who could not love that heart warming face. Your Fall drive is beautiful, so enjoying it. When you pop into bakeries, are you seeing many gluten-free items, that's what I have to look for. Those chocolate crossaints looked so good. I've only seen moose a few times and it's always been when I'm not looking for them. Twice I've had a moose come out in front of me on the road and luckily I've not hit one. I had a lovely trip this week visiting my older brother's family and then I bopped over to the Calif. coast for some camping. The sea lions are starting to come in for their winter stay. I also got to see 4 sea otters in the harbor at Morro Bay....so cute they were. And Scout, wow, it's been a year, you're such a lucky soul to be part of the Overlanding Sophia family. Hugs to all and safe travels.
He was the gentlest soul! Just gorgeous. I haven’t noticed gluten free stuff but probably because I’m not looking for it! This was one of the first bakeries we’ve been to in the States. I’ll keep an eye out next time ☺️ Sounds like you’ve had a wonderful time, and full of wildlife! So amazing to see otters! 💛
Looks like you guys are all having a good trip so far in the states, hope that you get to enjoy Salem. I'll tell ya this for free though. If I am planning on going anywhere near the Ben and Jerry's factory I will be booking tickets months in advance! Thanks for the tip on that one. Haha
We’re having such a great time here, love how each state is bringing us something new and different. You should enjoy this weeks video! 🎃 And yes, definitely book for the ice cream tour! Crazy how busy it was!
Just wondering if you have some kind of timeline you need to get places. You keep pushing onward and saying you don't have time for things instead of returning the next day. Great videos. I did a nova Scotia road trip in July and can't wait to get back and some of the stops you made I didn't.
Hello! Yes, we are on a weather and visa schedule unfortunately. Driving this loop through New Hampshire was a detour as it was, I have to fly back for something urgent in a couple of weeks too so we can’t always hang around the same spot for days. As much as we’d love to see everything we have to remember we’re on a long road trip, not a holiday! Ah we LOVED Nova Scotia, still left so much unseen! That place is pretty special 💛
Loving your adventures guys takes me back to my visit there. Conwy was a great place to see the colour that drive as epic think it takes you something like 16000 above sea level.
Happy to hear the videos are bringing back some good memories for you! Such a beautiful part of the world. The drive was truly epic, shame I can’t use the drone yet as think that would have shown the scale of the views 😍💛
We were in the white mountains just after those rains you talked about. Never seen the rivers overflowing like that before, was a site to see. Also never saw so many people in the area like that before either. You were traveling on.alot of the same roads we traveled. You should have taken the time yo climb mount Washington. You would have been amazed by the view. Enjoy Vermont and the journey south.
They must have had so much rain, a couple of the lakes we saw were full to the brim! Such beautiful roads aren’t they? Hope you guys had a great time. Would have loved to do Mt Washington but we’ve already spent a small fortune this month on activities so made the decision to sit this one out. One day 💛
I live in Maine, about 30 minutes south of Portland. So glad you were able to see the foliage in full bloom. We often take the drive over to the Kancamagus Highway in the fall but weekdays only as the weekend leaf peepers make it way too crowded. I'm loving following your adventures.
You live in such a beautiful part of the world Tim! We missed peak foliage by a couple of weeks but it was still an incredible drive. Does this mean you're all caught up on our videos now?! 🎖
Hi guy's. Looks amazing what a beautiful part of our country!! It sure doesn't seem like a year has passed that you three became four. What a journey so far. Stay safe. Peace, keep the faith. Dean
So beautiful! Have you been up this way before? I know, in some ways it feels like he's been with us for years, and in others it seems like only yesterday we were in Turkey 💛
😂😂 We’ve had quite a few comments from those on the west being like “that ain’t a mountain!” . We just say they’re mountains, just much older than what you have west 😅💛
I was in Surrey, Worcestershire, Dorset and the West Oxfordshire Cotswolds, for a fantastic time with friends and family last week. So late to watch last weeks episode, which I was as always top notch! Love your stuff and God bless you!
When you guys see a dog you really need to close your eyes and say what dog? what dog? I didn't see any dogs. lol, When you get very far south dogs everywhere with no homes. It is sad but true. Fun Show.
As other's have said I can't believe it's a year since Scout adopted you, he's having the best life thank you for the wonderful videos you're producing and take care x
Yep, I have a horror story of when River was a puppy, we walked her on the back lanes near Bens mums house. A hiker had obviously got caught short by a bush and River rolled all over what he’d left behind 🥴🥴 She had the biggest hose down and a new collar after that! 🤢
Oh, sweet River saying "bless you" after Chesca sneezing -- such a sweet pup! You can really see how much she and Scout love their humans. Happy upcoming anniversary to Scout, by the way! "Glacial erratics" as they are known (geology nerd in the house! 🤓) are fascinating enough, but that one is mental!! 🤯🤯 Wow!! And it has a sweet old dog to guide you. Clever use of the power bank & USB fan, Ben! Can't think of a better place in the US to be for Halloween than Salem! Looking forward to that episode. ❤️❤️😎👍xx
Yes Aaron!! I actually cut a part of the video where Ben says it’s a glacial erratic🙈🙈🙈 Honestly it was so impressive, difficult to capture on camera what a big hunk of rock it was 😂 Very excited to see Salem during Halloween, just hope we can get in. Heard it’s been crazy. 80,000 people one weekend 😱😱 xx
Hi guys I love watching how much love there is between you guys and your puppies which I can relate to because my son and I have a dog that we love so much. Ben you did really well on your first sight seeing excursions keep up the good work. Thank you very much for showing the last of the beautiful leaves looking forward to seeing some snow soon. Lots of Love and prayers 😊🏝🦋💖🦮 Safe Travels
Hi guys the Love I see and feel between you guys and your fur baby’s just comes out of the screen and into my heart it is so easy to see all I have to do is look into your and there eyes and the snuggles and pats etc.. My son and I have a fur baby and we are the same with his name is Benji and we rescued him when he was 2 years old and he had been mistreated and I cry when I am cuddling him on my lap and wonder how anyone could mistreat a pet. I wish you all the Luck in the world and you get Rosie for your mum. Happy Birthday Ben 🎉🎊🎂🍷🥃🍺🥡🥢🎊🎉
Thanks for another great video. The boulder is unbelievable, and I laughed when you told Ben to not walk so heavy footed. 🤣 What is LPG? I've never heard that term. Safe travels and all the best from Nova Scotia, Canada 🇨🇦 ❤
Wow, what an adventure you guys are having! So sorry you've been missing out on seeing some moose and bears. I've been tracking and photographing 3 bears here in New Brunswick for over a month now. Fingers crossed I get a shot at the 300 pounder tonight. When you get into North Carolina the mountains near Ashville have lots of black bears and white tail deer.
@@markhunter1140 I love the mountains and I love the people. I’m a New Yorker by birth, but been in WI for decades. Really want to come home and Vermont is my top pick.
Got to say that the small part of Vermont we’ve seen… we love it! It has such a laid back vibe, the landscape is beautiful and no one seems in a hurry. I can see why you’d want to live here 💛
Now that you're in Vermont you need to stop by Bernie Sanders house. Jk. Loving the journey so far. Hope you guys have enjoyed all the colours along the drive since leaving NS. It's a beautiful time of year for it. Also, if you wanna do a tour of all the McDonald's stick to the i95 south bound lol. They're on like every exit.
Haha after Campobello Island it’s like we’re doing a tour of all the presidential homes 😂 It’s been such a beautiful drive, seeing the fall in this part of the world has been on my bucket for so long, and it hasn’t disappointed! Although, now we need to see Cape Breton in the fall. Heard it’s just as special 💛
@@OverlandingSophia Anywhere in the Appalachian mountains is just as nice. From Maine to Georgia gets fantastic fall colors. I live in a large farmhouse in the Pennsylvania mountains, and our colors are just starting to peak right now.
Awww, can't believe it's approaching a year since Scout came into your lives - he's such a cutey. Our youngest dog does the exact same thing as Scout ie. running about like a nutter and it makes me laugh 🐶 every time. Cool boulder, Ben and I love those bridges that you've driven over - like from The Bridges of Madison County, the film with Meryl Streep and Clint Eastwood (total tearjerker). Loving this series, see you all next week 👋.
Hahah yeah Scout still gets the zoomies like he's a 6 month old pup! River just watches him intently and tries to herd him with as little effort as possible 😆 New England is full of those covered bridges! Some areas are famous for them, so that film must be set in this part of the States maybe?! 💛
Thankyou! You have taken me back to 2003 when I did Camp America in Eaton, few miles south of Conwy, use to go into Conwy for supplies and downtime all the time, so lovely to see it again and brought back so many happy memories. I was in that area for 4 months so explored as much as I can and wow.....it hasnt changed! I must take my little one over one day, he would love it. When I was there as a young 21 year old, there was a steam train that ran - do you know if its still there? Looking forward to the rest of your vlogs, safe travels and thankyou! :-) Jo
I think the steam train is still there! Conway Scenic Railway maybe?! I LOVE steam trains, would have loved to do that! So glad to hear the video brought back some memories for you, those times in our lives never leave us! 💛💛
Loved the boulder, I love rocks and have a habit of putting lovely pebbles in my pockets. You both look so well and happy it's great to see. I can't believe it was a year ago when Scout found you, the time has flown. Stay safe and watch out for those sneaky Moose 😂 love and hugs Sue and Bryn x

Hi ,great to see the fall which I said we wanted to butall the lakes everywhere ,Riverdale the ones we did see where fast flowing we where only used to the canals, slow running it at all. So beautiful around there. Yes just to think Scout you have a lovely dog there and River and him seem to get on great still. Our Chris used to go snowboarding up in den there hills, yes he loved it had to put wheels on it for the UK. I love watching the vlogs, then showhem Linda the views she loves them. Take care for to get the front of house ready for next weekend spiders cobwebs ghosts. Yes yes I am a silly old kid. Take care enjoy your week. All our best Linda ,Rob and as always a bit woof from Sir Barkalot x
It’s a stunning part of the world. Never seen colour like it! So glad to hear Linda is enjoying the videos too. Love that you’re getting all prepped for spooky season! We’re big kids too 👻 🎃 xx
Conway brought back great views and memories for us. It's a shame you didn't take the bus trip up Mt Washington It's very atmospheric, scenery and views at the centre to die for. It's renowned for the strongest winds & we happened to have a white out descend on us snow ice and on one side of the centre you couldn't stand up 30 mins later brilliant sunshine and blue skies. Bus ride up and back is brilliant. Stay safe and if you can try and do the mountain. 😃😃😃
Maybe some other time! One of the hard things about a trip like this is that it can get very expensive if you’re paying $40-50+ each week on attractions. So, we also have to be frugal to make our budget stretch and we just decided this one wasn’t for us. I’ve no doubt it’s beautiful though. I think the cog railway would be really cool 😍
They really are something else up here 🍂 It’s made for some of the best drives we’ve ever done! And I know, how time flies eh! Can’t imagine life without him 🐾🐶

We have going to the White Mountains for many years , wonderful place , in the summer 😁
Wish you could have seen Mt Washington, It's amazing!
A Golden Retriever ambassador! How CUTE!!! The boulder was amazing just like the rest of New England!
He was awesome!! Hope he’s doing okay and continuing to get lots of treats and love from the locals 😍
I'm surprised you didn't drive up to the top of Mount Washington, missed a great view.
We would have loved to! But we'd had an expensive month already with everything we'd done and seen in Maine, so we couldn't really afford it unfortunately.
@@OverlandingSophia I can appreciate keeping to a budget. That's quite an adventure you two have planned, safe travels.
FYI Augusta is the capital of Maine not Portland
Can't wait for next week, i'm all about halloween! Those orange colours everywhere are just a treat!
I can't believe how Scout looked like just a year ago, he is so happy and healthy now, there's no comparison!
Until next week! xx 💕
Yesss we are so excited about Halloween too! I think it's going to be chaos in Salem but we'll give it our best shot 😂 🧡
You say youre going to Argentina but then say Baha Mexico so im confused where you are heading for
We're going to both! Argentina is the ultimate destination but Baja marks the end of the first leg of the trip. After that, we'll be hitting the official Pan American 😊
Thankyou for explaining. Im so glad ive discovered your vlogs, they make me feel im with you on the trips
@@sandraford3788 It can get confusing, especially as we’re doing this start of the trip a little differently by not going straight to Alaska. Thank you for the kind words too, that really means a lot and love that you’re enjoying the videos 💛💛
Beautiful video. Beautiful autumn landscape. It's great to travel and discover new places. Especially with chocolate croissants and donuts.
Thank you Sergei, croissants and donuts make everything better 😃
Be sure and pass through my state of Rhode Island
The boulder was fun. Thanks for showing us! 👍🏻🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃
Wasn’t it huge!! 😱
Great vlog guys, thanks for taking me with you 😘 Ross 🏴
Ah you’re more than welcome, thanks for coming along with us 😘
Madison Boulder is my touch stone!!! Huge right!!! I go visit it like an old friend... love from Maine!!
Love this!! It was such a beautiful spot and the forest there was unbelievably beautiful! 💛
Such stunning autumn colours! Can't believe that it was 2 years ago that you were in Sicily and 1 year since adopting scout!! Wow. He looks so healthy now and your right Ben he🐕 probably wouldn't have survived without you guys rescuing him. 🤗
Have you been with us since Sicily Anne?! 💛💛 Honestly time absolutely flies. Next May it will be 4 years since we bought Sophia 😱 xx
@@OverlandingSophia yeah I found you guys when you were in Sicily I think it was while watching LEAW if not mistaken you were both in contact. I live in Sicily 😊
Lovely tour of pastries, donuts, hash browns , bread and ice cream with some autumn thrown in! How are you guys not enormous?😂😂😂🤰🏻love itx
Hahaha can you tell we’re in the States yet?! 😝😋
Does anyone know the song that starts at 10:10?
It's so beautiful! You probably did drive the Kancamagus! Such an incredible part of the world to road trip 😍
Hey Kev! Ah thank you so much, absolutely love that you're watching from Derby. Say hi to the ol' girl for me 💛
Our daughter and son in law lived in New Hampshire for ten years. We visited many times. It’s a lovely part of the planet. Now they live in Kentucky.
Oh amazing, it really is a beautiful part of the world. We could have easily explored for longer! 💛
I've lived in the northeast all my life, how is that I've never heard of that creepy museum, the big Boulder in the middle of the woods or the grand canyon of Maine!? It's crazy that I'm just learning about them now on your newly discovered vlog but I'm loving it!
Hahah this is your sign to go out and see them all! 🥰 Highly recommend all of them!
Mt Washington- considered to have some of the worst weather in ALL the world. Impressive for a small mountain.
Haha 😂 Heard it’s hella windy up there!
Loving this! Guilty secret, I love a md hash brown. Xx
Hahah they're the best, no guilt needed 😆
Wow loved this video!! What an amazing autumb colors! Time flies when your havin fun! That it is already 1 year that Scout found you. He is so Lucky!
Love his caracter and Rivers aswell.
Safe travels Cheska and Ben. Bay Ingrid.
Honestly we have no idea where that year has gone! Couldn’t imagine life without him now 🥰🐶
Another great video, I am from Maritime Canada, but I got to admit New England is very beautiful, their fall colours are almost as beautiful as ours (just kidding) can't wait to see the next one, love your channel.
I was at the Madison boulder about 35 years ago. Hope that you are having much fun.
Bet it looked exactly the same! 😂 It was such a cool spot to visit. So far the USA is lots of fun 💛💛
Great video beautiful fall colors. Out West we call those hills!! On the east coast you can't be called a town if you don't have a Dunkin Donuts 🤣
😂😂 We’ve had quite a few comments from those on the west being like “that ain’t a mountain!” . We just say they’re mountains, just much older than what you have west 😅💛
You probably don't know this, but a woman won millions of dollars because she said the coffee at McDonalds was too hot.
Nope did not know that! How did she win millions of dollars? Did she sue them?!
Got the notification and looking forward to seeing how your adventure is moving on.
Woop thank you Kim! Hope you enjoy 💛
I was in Surrey, Worcestershire, Dorset and the West Oxfordshire Cotswolds, for a fantastic time with friends and family last week. So late to watch last weeks episode, which I was as always top notch! Love your stuff and God bless you!
Madison Boulder rocks! C'mon somebody had to say it
Hahah you got there first Chris! Madison Boulder well and truly rocked 😂😂
22.50 ....Wondering what River is think .
Best caption wins 😂
When you guys see a dog you really need to close your eyes and say what dog? what dog? I didn't see any dogs. lol, When you get very far south dogs everywhere with no homes. It is sad but true. Fun Show.
Hahahah this made us laugh 😂 That’s EXACTLY what we need to do. Especially if they’re strays. We have no more room!
African elephants weigh between 2 1/2 tons to 7 tons..
Oh yeah! I had a kids book that told me they weighed a ton, I’ve been repeating that ever since I was 7 😂
This is going epic adventure in the east coast, happy gotcha day scout
Yes it is! 🥳

Thank youu! 💛💛
Truly amazing. All the food looked yum too.
Thanks Linda 💕 Can't go wrong with donuts and hash browns 😋
My dog will roll in anything the smellier the better.
❤️❤️😎👍xx
Yes Aaron!! I actually cut a part of the video where Ben says it’s a glacial erratic🙈🙈🙈 Honestly it was so impressive, difficult to capture on camera what a big hunk of rock it was 😂
Very excited to see Salem during Halloween, just hope we can get in. Heard it’s been crazy. 80,000 people one weekend 😱😱 xx
Aye Aaron, there be some incredible ones on the west/north Yorkshire border, atop Bolton Priary.
Hi guys I love watching how much love there is between you guys and your puppies which I can relate to because my son and I have a dog that we love so much. 😂 😂 My favourite quote of the week!
Thanks for another great video. The boulder is unbelievable, and I laughed when you told Ben to not walk so heavy footed. 🤣
What is LPG? I've never heard that term.
Safe travels and all the best from Nova Scotia, Canada 🇨🇦 ❤
Haha he walks so heavy he’d scare a moose a mile off 😂 LPG is our propane for cooking! We have a refillable tank 💛
LPG = Liquid Propane Gas Depending where u r they use the abbreviation, Propane only, or both.
@@OverlandingSophia Thanks, I thought that's what it meant, but I've only heard it referred to as propane. 🤷♀️
Good luck on your travels!
Thanks so much Mark 🥰💛
Wow, what an adventure you guys are having! So sorry you've been missing out on seeing some moose and bears. I've been tracking and photographing 3 bears here in New Brunswick for over a month now. Fingers crossed I get a shot at the 300 pounder tonight. When you get into North Carolina the mountains near Ashville have lots of black bears and white tail deer.
No way!! That’s incredible. We should have dropped into see you and you could have taken us out on a bear scouting mission 😅
@@OverlandingSophia I saw the big boy last night, I got winded(he caught my scent) and didn't hang around long enough for a shot.

Why would they want to see Bernie Sanders?
@@passingthroughtime3033 It was a joke.
Kangamangus because we always say it wrong haha
Hahah did I say it wrong?! 🙈
@@OverlandingSophia No, you said it correctly. A lot of Mainers call it Kangamangus. We know better and still call it that haha
So much fun watching I really enjoy seeing the hidden jems places have such as the boulder. Excellent job safe travels

Was literally just wondering how you all are? Looks amazing there. P.S. that is a nice Boulder!
We’re all good thank you!! Just continuing to roll along and see what we find along the way 💛 Boulders and leaves this week! 😅
I love collecting pretty rocks too! Although this one was too big for anyones pockets 😂 Couldn’t imagine life without Scouty Boy now, it’s like he’s always been with us 💛 Big hugs and love from the US Of A to you and Bryn xx 🐾
Loved seeing all the autumn 🍂 colours - truly gorgeous.
Also can’t believe that’s almost a year since you adopted Scout - what a lovely boy he is.
They really are something else up here 🍂 It’s made for some of the best drives we’ve ever done! And I know, how time flies eh! Can’t imagine life without him 🐾🐶
Hope you get to see your moose. They are so big. My last trip to Newfoundland we saw 3. They were big enough to drive under.
Wow! One day Sharon, one day. When we aren’t looking for them probably! 💛
