Completely understand your decision to return. Sounds like you did the right thing. We did a lot of van-life over 2 years and missed all of the things you described! Even whilst enjoying the sights and sounds of the places we were visiting, we still missed people at home and the space for hobbies that living in our house gives us!

The beauty of UA-cam is that it isn't formatted and rigid. Use that freedom. It's always exciting to see a new video pop up from my favourite creators. It doesn't have to be every week. It doesn't have to be regular. The adventures that give you the most pleasure will make the best videos. Instead of posting videos as you go, you should just make a whole trip (for example, around Ireland), then take your time to edit and release multiple episodes about that trip. I can't imagine how much time you've spent editing and worrying about content, instead of just enjoying yourselves at times. You can set a whole new pace for yourself. Anyways, take care. Get some well deserved rest.

We do three months at a time away in Europe in our motorhome it's always really Nice to get home and not to be traveling every day. After a few months at home we get itchy feet and off we go again for three months and it's lovely to be in the motorhome again.

You need to choose a few of your favorites (like Vancouver 😊)now and fly out to one of them each vacation season, I think the worries about the camper and. The dogs ,etc. Was always weighing on you......sorry for your loss

And no worries that you didn't finish the trip, we'd rather see you do the things that you truly want to and that you're passionate about, rather than suffering through something you're not enjoying anymore when life changes. Cause it's unreasonable to expect a huge decision you made two years about wouldn't change, life moves so fast. And I know it's super tough being a content creator on UA-cam, where your success is so inextricably linked to a nebulous algorithm and upload schedule, but look forward to seeing what happens next! Hey plans change and thats ok. Its very tough that such a heartbreaking loss of a loved was one reason to come home and drop yer previous plans. Ye need to regroup..rest up and connect and hug loved ones. Maybe do a few shorter trips. I could never do van life so its fabulous to join ye four for some trips..ye do the work we enjoy the stunning places and scenery. Completely understand your decision to return. Sounds like you did the right thing. We did a lot of van-life over 2 years and missed all of the things you described! Even whilst enjoying the sights and sounds of the places we were visiting, we still missed people at home and the space for hobbies that living in our house gives us!

We got our van last September and started a you tube channel, nothing as adventurous as you as we’re still working full time, we’re currently in Jiva beach Resort, Fethiye, Turkey, on a package holiday. The beauty of UA-cam is that it isn't formatted and rigid. Use that freedom. It's always exciting to see a new video pop up from my favourite creators. It doesn't have to be every week. It doesn't have to be regular. The adventures that give you the most pleasure will make the best videos. Instead of posting videos as you go, you should just make a whole trip (for example, around Ireland), then take your time to edit and release multiple episodes about that trip. I can't imagine how much time you've spent editing and worrying about content, instead of just enjoying yourselves at times. You can set a whole new pace for yourself.
Anyways, take care. Get some well deserved rest.

We do three months at a time away in Europe in our motorhome it's always really Nice to get home and not to be traveling every day. After a few months at home we get itchy feet and off we go again for three months and it's lovely to be in the motorhome again.

Even the best laid plans don’t always go as planned. You all been in this trip for over a year so it’s understandable. Not completing the trip shouldn’t be seen as a fail but everything you seen and experienced on the trip, in a van, as a success. You all are doing and going places a lot of us can only dream of going. Can’t wait to watch for the next trip…,
I'm glad you're all OK, and home safe and sound. Must admit was starting to worry a bit there! Sorry for your loss. One of the best things about van travel is you can make it up as you go along. And changing plans and knowing when enough is enough is the mark of experience. I've been following you for some years and learnt heaps. I hope to get at least across Canada and the US in the near future and look forward to the live and learning even more

Hey plans change and thats ok. Its very tough that such a heartbreaking loss of a loved was one reason to come home and drop yer previous plans. Ye need to regroup..rest up and connect and hug loved ones. Maybe do a few shorter trips. I could never do van life so its fabulous to join ye four for some trips..ye do the work we enjoy the stunning places and scenery. I am a definite homebird..I need to be with hubby and our fab dog in static house. Irish viewer.
