- In today's video, we are back into the 1v1 ranked games having completed our placement games, winning 7/10. We have a really tough first pick, and our choice really shows as our opponent gets out to an early lead. But as the game goes on, things get closer and closer and what happens at the end is one of the craziest endings I've ever seen!

Insane game.
When you pulled the last vp, it was impossible for red to win. There are only 14 knights in the deck (7 knights locks army) and they can't open any settle spots since they are out of road.
Yep it took me a couple of minutes to compute what was going on after that last VP, still can't quite believe that happened!
This was the 0.1% game no one expected. I'm sure I won't be seeing something like this anytime soon. GG

At 9:10 those roads were a waste, he’s 3 roads away from maxing longest road at 15 and he easily gets there before you
I agree! In the moment I was still holding out hope to be able to steal road away but I would have needed 3 perfect rolls for that to happen!
@@TheWandererCatan I was kind of hoping you'd see that, and rush for the brick port rather than extending up to the 3:1. It's a long shot, but this whole game was a long shot lol.
You keep worrying about the city or settle, but he's out of roads to road settle, and out of cities. By 15:00, you've got all the vps, and 7 knights, so there's no way he can get army or pull a vp, so it's gg for you!
Now I have to watch how I build my roads lmao
Going to be paying way more attention to the way I expand in 1v1 from now on!
