What shall we do with this truck? A - Swap the engine into the Minneapolis Moline Tractor B - take to Compactor bed off, and replace it with a Pickup truck bed C - Take it to a Tractor Pull and hook the Trash Truck to the Pulling Sled D - _______________
Man I’d be taking that trash dumpster off the back and putting a flat bed on the back definitely know I could use it doing hay down here in east central Missouri!
The 8 .3 cummins is the way to go it has a lot more cubic inches then a 5.9 cummins and can handle a heavy pull alot better that's been my experience with them. What are you going to do with the d451 Moline engine I need motor parts for my g 900 a rod came out of the block behind the hydraulic pump
You can put a 8.3 in a Oliver 2150 front tub me and my dad have done it. Your goin to have to change the pump be cause of how the governor is set up it won't full fuel till it gets under full load so your goin to need a ag style pump. Our engine was out of a dump truck.
That’s an Old Pak-More RL body, not vary rare (they’re still produced) but seeing it on an old chassis like that is awesome! I know how a farm doesn’t have any uses for a garbage truck, so I think you should remove the body and sell it.
Not much on Fords but little fellers and trash trucks are all right in my book! That little guy will have his CDL in no time! My son loves 18 wheelers and he wants to drive em too!
Tracey how about a follow up on this garage truck project. I found your video searching for transmission selector for Allison automatic in a F800 with 8.3. Wondering if you are parting that truck out
You dont have a park not because its got air brakes but because you probably have a Allison MT643 trans and they dont have Park at all even with hydroboost. Cool truck. 8.3CTA is a good motor
Definitely start a trash company if you still have the truck! Maybe Ashley could be the driver (truck has an Allison automatic, so super easy to drive). My buddy Dejuan (ThaThunderStorm on here) has started his own trash company, you might want to get some insight from him!
@@GarbageSean Yes this rear loader (above, seen in video) would work perfectly for cardboard. Cardboard isn’t very easy to pack with a Front Loader, so a rear loader will leave him with the best outcome.
Not so sure that is drop right in and go. Lots of jewelry on it but that will come off ok, that boy doesn't want to spin that up and then cut it off as the turbo spins dry and will take it out fast. They used to all have idle down switches so that didn't happen and it might be corrected but if it ain't then its dollars in the wind. I am sure that you can make it fit but man oh man that is a lot of metal... trucks real tired as one can tell but the transmission is worth money and if that bed were cleaned up would definitely sell for good change, not rich but way better than scrap iron. I do believe that old girl has hauled her last but its good parts.... anything but detroit
B - Seems like a good truck. That or throw a box on it. 1 Airtank so your probably going to see a bigger loss overnight. That and Temperature will effect pressure. Although I know when my trucks Airbreaks get down very low over night after a day of running I start checking for leaks. You may have a real small unnoticeable one somewhere. Usually easy to fix. I’ve had a couple of leaks on the International I drive that were so small nobody would of found it but a mechanic but contributed to loss over a weekend of sitting etc.

Nice truck.
Thanks

Maybe Dejuan could use this truck strictly for cardboard, and use his EZ Pack Hercules and Heil Half/Pack for bulk!
@@LEU_WM_266 I could see that! Although this one’s a rear loader I think.

@@LEU_WM_266 agreed!!

@@FarmAlarm can you please video the compactor in action
I’m getting one of these trucks but it’s a 95 F800 with a 5.9 12v in it and It only has 65K miles on it
We vote B!
In California that truck woulda been out of service in like 1990🤣

So when you pull the motor what are you doing with the body?
I have reached out to a few trash services. I want to sell the Pak-Mor body... are you interested?
If you were to part it out id be interested in some of the bits off of it. I have no use for a trash truck lol
ok i kinda want the heil 4000 body
The guy who I sold this truck to wants to sell the compactor body if you are interested
Vendemelo me gustan los camiones ford y mas con motor cummins. Chulada.
