I think that people underappreciate how important a job like trash collecting is. Imagine what a city would be like if there wasn't something like that in place
@@jdrodrigues7 nothing in history would compare to now. we create products and throw them away at an astoundingly alarming rate compared to any moment in history.
in the netherlands there was a city were the garbage collectors stopped working because of a strike (they wanted more money or something like that) in a week time it went from clean to nasty shit.
I appreciate Michelle showing us this side of jobs because I never realized how important this job is. I visited swatch(idk if I spelled it right) and it just made me realize how much I need to start composting and recycling more.
In NYC, it’s incredibly competitive to become a sanitation worker. It’s genuinely not an easy job to do day in and day out and people really underestimate how much goes into a job like this, especially during the pandemic. There’s no option for remote. I hope people start sorting their trash properly and genuinely thank people who do this work. It’s honestly one of the most impactful careers one can have.
When I was in NYC I actually thought they don’t have a garbage system at all to be honest. As European I have to say the us is when it comes to garbage still behind but improving that’s good to see😊
That ending made me cry. As someone who does not regularly seperate their trash correctly, I didn't know the impact that it caused just because of something that wouldv'e taken 2 seconds to do. I also never really saw sanitation workers as a "first line of defense" type of people, I knew they were important as any job is but without them, we would be living in filth and I just now realize that there is never a week where the sanitation workers, that come to my home, miss. Thank you to everyone who works these types of jobs! ❤
Michelle, you have no idea how much I appreciate this video. I've worked in the trash industry for about 15 years now and I am SO EXCITED to see someone like you with such a large platform show how how hard this job is and what amazing people my coworkers are! I work in the office, so I don't busy my tush like the drivers do, but I know what wonderful, hard-working, and dedicated people they all are. This IS a very dangerous and thankless job. I've seen my guys and gals be injured, seen truck fires, awful wrecks caused by the carelessness of others, and (unfortunately) lost wonderful coworkers far too soon due to the dangers of the job. In the years I've been in this industry I have met wonderful friends and gained too many new 'family' members to count them all. These folks would give me, or anyone else, the shirt off their back, their time, and their wisdom without a second thought and I can't thank them enough for everything we've shared over the years. It's a dirty, smelly, thankless job and I am INCREDIBLY blessed to call all of these wonderful, amazing people my friends and chosen family. To the garbage men and women, sanitation workers of the world, thank you all for all you do. Your hard work is not unnoticed.
your paycheck thanks you. if you don't like the thank you you are hearing from it, go learn another skill then do that job. trash collecting is a mindless unskilled task that anyone but a cripple can do.
I've been a garbage man for 17 years. Thank you for showing everyone a little bit of our world. Be nice to your garbage man or women. Put stuff properly where it needs to go. And a coffee or any drink goes a long way!
What do you think would be a nice gift for the sanitation workers who do my route? They are ver well taken care of in my city, they have great facilities for before and after work and make a good living, yet I sill would like to show them some appreciation.
@@elazarpimentel5340 some common gifts for drivers that drive automated trucks are water or cookies. If they work on rear loaders I would consider making them a lunch, like a sandwich, some chips and water/Gatorade.
My step dad is a garbage man and he has been doing it his whole life and he has not missed one day of work he has never called out sick or ANYTHING, we need to appreciate their hard work and dedication ❤🎉
@Meme Memeson thats not *every single* ups and other carriers lmfao.. i could understand why some don't deliver to you though. im sorry to whoever hurt you during your childhood, and your lack of a father figure
I'd love to see Michelle do USPS deliveries! That would be cool to raise awareness :) (I'm new to the channel so I'm not sure if she's done something similar already haha) Also thank you so much for all that you do!
Girl, dont apologize for crying! You are passionate about your job, and have pride! That is so rare to find in people anymore, please keep up the great service, and wonderful attitude
The way Jackie delivered her message was so powerful it made me tear up because it reminds me how I didn't appreciate these sanitation workers enough...Their job is truly the first line of defence, with this reminder, I am truly truly grateful for their hard work, something that I never took notice of... Thank you sanitation workers everywhere, y'all deserve the world because you're the ones that maintain it!❤
This video made me so emotional. For over 35 years, my parents ran a rural sanitation business, and I basically grew up on a garbage truck. They worked every single holiday, and we're so accommodating to customers. Kids loved them and would often wait at the window to see them drive up just so they could bring the cans to them to help. Thank you so much for shedding light on this profession. ❤️
Same. It's always those unassuming videos that hit you out of nowhere. Wishing all the best to the waste collectors out there making their city a better place.
Neither did I. But Jackie just got to me. Such a great woman. Has the same first name as me and kind of went through the same stuff where I'm still going through. I'm still trying to get them to understand that I can do stuff too and I'd pretty much prefer to not get treated like I would shatter into a thousand pieces if I do something myself instead of working on a computer or clean something the whole day. Really appreciate what she does. ^^
@@jacquelinebrown6879 you the best you motivated me to apply to this job i am going to get my class b license i want to apply to waste management in el cajon what do you think is it a good company
Me as a sanitation worker this really brought pride to me cuz like she said you have to love what you do and the ending choked me a bit not even gonna lie cuz I felt every moment thank you so much for bringing light to all of the men and women sanitation engineers around the world great documentary 💯💯💯👌🏾💪🏾

Did not expect to cry during this video. My appreciation for and gratefulness towards sanitation workers, especially those who work in my own neighborhood, has multiplied by 1000.
My husband is a garbage truck driver and honestly I thank God for his safe return everyday. Not only does he face danger from what he possibly collects, but also accidents and many other factors. Thank you for this video and for showing the importance of this job!

Thank you but I have put a battery in the bin by accident the hell I was having dinner baby sister when I went to the toilet and I finished poop for batteries in my dinner and I don’t know it’s up and then the mass of the trunk blowed up
I never thought clicking on a video to see Michelle collect garbage I'd end up balling my eyes out. Every single worker shown was amazing and Jackie touched my heart so much. This is a huge wake up call to show them they are very appreciated.
Yes! I’m so glad she made this video My father is a trunk working who worked for UPS, travel loads, and currently a trash man, he works very hard and I’m so proud people like him are getting the recognition they deserve
Jackie made me tear up a little. If it weren't for sanitation workers we'd all be swimming in our own shit. They really deserve more appreciation in all ways possible.
@B_B Not sure if you're simply being direct (as I often am) or trying to make an actual point. I used to work maintenance on flightline aircraft. For those of us who have done ACTUAL hard work (and not just call out people behind a computer screen), simple appreciation does in fact register. That said, I don't disagree with your sentiment. It would have been nice to receive something tangible as appreciation.
@@martinvanburen4578 Well obviously this is exposure for the department she's working with maybe even shared revenue from the video. They wouldn't just let a youtuber take up their time to film a video
but it's not overlooked. sanitation crew in NYC can make good money and that includes private gigs like waste management. you also can do this as an illiterate immigrant with body odor. you need NO skills other than being able bodied and just doing what you are told. and you get good money to do it. so no, it isn't overlooked. the paycheck speaks for itself, at least here in New York City.

Thank you so much Michelle for showing appreciation to the most underappreciated people. If garbage collectors are reading this, thank you so much for your service. Know that I always did respect you and always did know how much risk and hard work that you had to go through for us. Thank you so much, I really do appreciate it.
We always say hello and thank you to our sanitation workers. And one day when I was incredibly ill and couldn't get my bins out to the curb, I heard the truck coming, and was trying to drag myself outside, but by the time I got out there, the guy said, "I got you!" and had set all my bins out for me, and brought the empty one back. I was so grateful I nearly cried. Appreciate what they do for you every day, you couldn't live your life without these folks.
I do! I know a few on TikTok personally. I always give them love. I always make sure my bins are sorted and light weight for both my local Recycle and Trash Collectors. We need to praise REAL WORKERS more!
This is true. My almost 2yo loves the trash truck, we have to stop and watch every time we see one, I love seeing the smile on their faces when my little one gets excited for it.
I never knew how many people in this business really put their lives on the line. I had no clue how amazing and how unappreciated these workers are because they are right without these sanitation workers our world will be a much dirty place and without recycling our world will be so much more polluted. I am so so so so grateful for every garbage worker out there 🥺🙏 and for them to sort out their best to just help our world be more clean and healthier is honestly truly astonishing. Thank you Michelle for sharing this with me and for letting me take a minute to truly appreciate these workers that use every day of their lives to make the world a better place to live in 🥺♻️
they are not necessarily frowned down on by everyone... they are just frowned down on by women... male dominated blue collar jobs often are hazardous and/or laborious but pay higher than women dominated blue collar jobs like office assistant
As a sanitation worker, all of this is spot on. Where I live/work, we don't have the trucks that lift the cans for us. But the technique, the smell lol, & everything else that comes w/the job is true. Thank u for shedding a little light on our profession!
No we aren't. Private sector...maybe. im in one of the wealthiest states, but i still qualify for earned income credit. I make 190 a day. Im the driver. Our throwers make 110 a day. All before taxes. Nyc pays well, cali pays well. That's it
Garbage collectors definitely have one of the most important jobs to keep a country up and running. Thank you to all the people who work in that field!
I'm a trash man and I Love what I do, it fills me with that wholesome feeling of accomplishing something important that contributes to society. I make some trash vids as well if you guys wanna check that out but I just wanted to say thank you for bringing awareness to this line of work. Great video Michelle! 😁
My father was a sanitation worker until the day he died. I learned so much about hard work and dedication through watching him. I miss him every single day... A truly thankless job that impacts so many, thank you so much for doing this ❤️
Joaquin and Jackie gave me End Of Watch vibes. What a power team on such a tough job. Respect to all garbage men and women out there, keeping our world clean and spinning 🤙🏻
I can’t stop crying over how little appreciation they get. Especially here in Florida after hurricanes they still show up when they can make it through the streets again. I will forever be grateful to all that they do and to Michele for showing us in such a special way!❤❤
As civil engineer, I design land fills along with many other projects. But I quickly learnt to appreciate and respect the people that work at the landfill and those that collect the rubbish. It's is one of the most taxing jobs I've ever seen.. To all those that work in that industry all around the world, I take my hat off to you.. Thank you for all your work!

Dear Michelle, I am a person in San Diego and it made my day seeing you help our community! I also loved seeing our town too. San Diego is truly as beautiful as seeing someone help our community. It really helps us see that we shouldn’t litter! The other day i was driving and i saw so much trash and it made me appreciate you guys even more. Trash collectors are so important.. I love how Michelle is able to bring such realness and beauty out of everything she does. Thanks for showing us this professional. They are under appreciated.
This really REALLY put everything into perspective for me. Our residence doesn't provide blue bins so separating our trash from recyclables is tougher. But I know my actions can impact Sanitation workers more so I will do all I can to make it easier for them, so I'm now more than happy to go the extra mile. Thank you, Michelle for highlighting these hard working heroes.
jackie literally made me cry, it makes me wanna wake up early just to tell the trash collectors in my community that i appreciate them... maybe also make them cookies, they deserve all the cookies...
@@viarom8389 I really need to explain? Rihanna said she cried from watching this video. She cried from a video about trash. Women are very emotional. Emotional people don’t always make logical decisions especially in times of stress. Thus, why a woman has never been president. Ok Bubba?
Good video, I work in the waste industry, spot on, our struggles are real and we work our hind ends off to keep trash off the streets. I like what the young lady said, “to the people throwing the trash in the wrong bin, do better”
let me say something, you just changed millions of people's views of trash collection.. I didn't think of them having to work during covid and whatever weather there is. I never thought of the hard work that goes into collecting trash and you have made me and much more considerate of this challenging job, thank you so much!
I’ve never felt so guilty before for throwing something away. I serious had no clue how dangerous batteries were never mind I shouldn’t be tossing them out! Besides how amazing it is that you went through this experience, THANK YOU for educating the masses on why it’s so dangerous to throw away batteries. Who knows how many lives you’ll save with this video living on for years and educating so many more. 🎉

Thank you Michelle for this documentary, as a child of immigrants my dads a truck driver for produce and my mom works at a recycling plant. One time my mom told me a story of when she was working one day with her coworkers who are also women of color, a school went on a field trip to see how recycling works. The teacher said to the kids and pointed to my mom and her coworkers sorting out the trash from recycling “see this is why you have to go to school or you’ll end up like them” it just really goes to show the ignorance of humanity and how little we know of what goes on behind the scenes. These people also have families and children.
If waste collectors, plumbers, electricians took a few months off, the world would collapse. For most other fields of work, its not even close to the importance and impact. The work is not appreciated enough.
@@Andytlp that’s very true during the start of COVID and quarantine that took place my mom didn’t stay home she was an essential worker. It was scary to see her go but I can’t imagine like how you said what could have happened during that time without our essential workers.
Teachers and Bosses (Those with enough power), the ones who are suppose to be setting good examples for the rest of us can really cause damage and in many cases (Mine being one of them) the only way to heal from it is to get away from the toxicity (Much, much easier said than done for countless people) for a long enough period of time. I was fortunate enough to get away from the toxicness, and for me it only took roughly a year to get back to a good place mentally/emotionally, which is a miracle considering: Back in my hellementary school days, there were a few teachers “2 in particular (A couple, there last name being Cole, which was very fitting for their hearts) and as for the other, even though he wasn’t nearly as bad, he was still able to make my list” (And 2 IAs, one in particular who was rarely around but was a much bigger bully) that were bullies along with 4 students in particular who were notably worse then the other bullies. I went through a lot, believe me. To top it all off there was this one time when I went to the principal's office to talk to the vice principal about the bullying from the teachers and other students and I was angry, sobbing and the works and I did not hold back on how I felt or on what I was saying, but little did I know that the system for the entire schools speakers was on, so everyone in the entire school heard everything... Now, some of the things that was done to a good friend of mine (Who has Cerebral Palsy), well, she had an instructional assistant (Same one I had) who at times put the lock of her locker on backwards as she was being timed, sometimes also having her wear an intentionally heavy nap sack when she was walking with her crutches when she already had a hard enough time with nothing extra weighing her down, on the odd occasion had her crutches put towards the classroom door so she had to use the desks to balance herself to get to them, one day she slipped and fell in the mud on her way to one of the portables and she was forced to enter the classroom… (As for me, I have roughly 30 regular sized pages with regular sized font single spaced “I think it was around 50 or so before it was edited for me” of a bunch of the BS that happened to me). Anyways, after the schools PA system incident, the bullying got even worse. It did not matter that mom and dad called and tried to help. No one was able to do anything at all for me, nothing (I was a caged animal with no escape/no way to get any kind of help. Even now, emotional abuse is not something that the cops will typically intervene in)... Then one day towards the end of the 7th grade I just snapped completely on one of the bullies, ripped his shirt, tackled him to the ground and would not stop going completely ballistic on him/just absolutely out of control... The lunchroom/recess supervisor who basically did pretty much nothing against emotional bullying ended up pulling us apart and if she hadn't have stepped in then I would not have stopped... The thing about these days is with the internet, social media/etc it just seems like there is a lot more evil stuff going on because it is a lot easier to uncover it, and kids/teens (As well as adults/seniors/etc) need to be encouraged to stand up to bullies (If they can), and to stand up against bullying when they see it happen and to secretly record if things get bad enough (Recording live stream if possible just incase they get caught.having those recording being recorded to some secret place on the web that the victim can have access to those files when and if they ever need them. Recordings that will never be seen/known by the bullies if they do happen to snatch the recorder, if this advanced type of option is even possible). As for the job end of things, with my second last boss he was a real master at manipulation (Could be one of the most vicious to one of the most loving people you have even met on the drop of a dime/flip of a switch) and knew how to pull peoples mental/emotional strings, and believe me when I say that I make a really good target especially during some days when I was the first/only one there where at times there were alcohol and beer bottles over the floor and during those time especially he had the kind of rage that literally shook my body and went right through to my very soul. I was mentally/emotionally trapped there for like 8 years and as such I have lots of stuff that I typed about that job/torments as well as a couple videos I made of shots that I took in secret), there was one time in particular where the boss (A strong guy) took a large post and just chucked it at me in a way so it barely missed me…
@@user-yj7ph9vk2k I have a BA (Hons) 2.2 in business management from Manchester Metropolitan university and I am a janitor. I was previously a teacher also but teachers get very low pay and lots of homework. I get 20k they get 30k but they literally are addicted to coffee sugar alcohol and stress because their day never ends. Sometimes some teachers can look down on manual workers but the joke is on the teacher because 10k per year more doesn't cover x2 the hours spent working. This was not only about you trying sanitation work for a day - this was you telling a powerful & important story. I had chills and this was very moving. Thank you. ❤
except she's lying. let's not forget when Oprah said playing with a baby is the hardest job in the world. if she wants to show dangerous jobs, go work on an oil rig that requires skill and has an element of serious risk of injury or death or running into a burning building while carrying down 200 pound overweight American folks without injuring your knees and battling smoke and fumes. yeah, then we'll talk
sanitation workers are so undervalued and taken advantage of. my whole life i’ve been told “go to school or you’ll end up cleaning toilets or being a garbage man”, but in reality those are the most important jobs in the whole world. thank you to all sanitation workers ❤
This really helped me to do what i do. It's this kind of appreciation that gets me up to do this job every day. I love when people, especially the kids, get interested in what we do and to see the trucks in action. It's not an easy job, and its very dangerous. I work with guys that had to get hernia surgeries, and one of those same guys lost a finger too. This video is just everything to me as a sanitation worker. Thank you for making this. Thank you to every one who makes our job easier and better, and thank you to every sanitation worker in the world. Your work is valued ❤

I work at the Palmerston North city council in New Zealand in the recycling, rubbish, glass trucks and I can say that I love my job and I have sat down and listen to people say that we don't do much that was before I told them everything we do and what we deal with. In Palmy we pick up our rubbish in bags. People also don'r realise how early we start and when we finish like we start at 6:30 maybe 7 am and finish anywhere from 4 - 8 pm. Thank you Michelle for showing over people what we go through.
There’s no doubt that working in the sanitation industry takes a lot of hard work and some muscle power. I appreciate such work that those workers do and to find out how they get through a given shift.
Wow. I’ve never seen this side of trash collectors. It’s really hard to appreciate what they do when all you see is them emptying your trash bin for a split second through your window. This video opened up my mind soooo much. Like I literally had no idea how much they care and how hard they work ❤
Trash collecting is hard work. Not many people are able to do this type of job, considering the risks that come along with it. Michelle is willing to try something different, and I’m proud of her for doing this.
YOu have no idea how much strengh your video give me... it's like "Idk if I can do that tomorrow morning" to "I CAN AND I'M SO GONNA DO THAT TOMORROW MORNING" in an INSTANT, you are a brutal source of energy and inspiration 💙
So much respect for these people! My dad works in sewers and always talks about how under appreciated his job and others like this are. Thank you Michelle for giving these people the respect they deserve! ❤
I've worked 12+ hour shifts in construction and 16+ hour shifts in a family owned catering business as well as doing lawn care & landscaping. I held each of the above jobs for years before moving on. I tried being a Gman and lasted one day. These people work harder than you know and are a huge part of our society that goes unnoticed. Please keep your bags light, don't overpack your cans, and tip your friendly neighborhood Gman.
I honestly didn't know how dangerous this job is! Thank you Michele for showcasing this incredibly important career! Without our garbage men/women, our towns, cities, and planet would not be safe! Thank you all for what you do!
As a trash man, I'm not sure I necessarily agree. But the sentiment holds true. Serving each other in any capacity is truly one of the best feelings you can ever get. Seeing the smile on someone's face when you get in there an lend a hand... It is a pretty amazing feeling. I may not be the richest man on the planet, but I'll tell you what. When I see a smile on a customer's face. I wouldn't know that I'm not the richest person in the world, sure feels like it.
@Stan Pygott Yea it's already a dangerous job that requires lots of experience and training. I feel like lots of random people doing it for a short time would increase the danger a lot.
I have spent a day filling in for a friend as a garbage collector and I must admit, my appreciation for all the sanitation workers increased tenfold afterwards because what she’s saying is true. The job is not easy, it’s not comfortable, and nobody ever seems to notice. I want to thank you for creating this video to shed light on an industry that receives no where near the credit it deserves.
Thank you for doing a video like this. Having a platform like you do and sharing these types of videos makes me hopeful that the younger generation and any generation will see that every type of job is important, valuable and needed no matter the type of job. They all deserve respect love and compassion.
This video was so touching and also made me feel so bad because I haven't been the best at recycling...it now makes me want to strive to do better! This is why I will always love Michelle's videos, they make me respect occupations I would never have thought twice about. Thank you sanitation workers and Michelle!! :)
Thank you to our garbage collection workers! We really do not understand how much you all do for us. And thank you for everything you did during the pandemic; a true testimony to rain or shine. Thank you, from the absolute bottom of my heart.
This made me sob. I love how much time, effort and love was put into this video to give a voice to people that really deserve it. Our world would fall apart if these amazing people weren’t there to help clean up after us. Thank you to Jackie and everyone everywhere in Sanitation and all you do for the community to make the world a better place.
I’ve always had so much respect for sanitation workers because they’re doing the work that no one else wants to. Thank you for shedding a light on this topic, hopefully everyone does their part and separates their trash and recyclables better!
Thank you for making this video! I'm a Solid Waste Coordinator, my job is to educate people on why everything you touched on in this video is so important. People don't often think about where their waste goes after they throw it away. Properly sorting your waste is SO important!

Another awesome video by Michelle. Such a wholesome, down to earth individual. My dad has driven a garbage truck since before I was born, and I worked as a residential helper for a garbage collection company here in Florida while in between jobs, and let me tell you, riding on the back come rain or shine for 12 hours a day doing just what she was doing is tough work. Sanitation workers deserve nothing but the utmost respect from all of us.
I would like to see a video like this for the thankless job of being a over the road truck driver (my career). Its not only the job but the missing of family while doing it. Thanks for this video and thank you to all those who work in this industry as you truly make a difference!!
I never thought a video about garbage collection would make me cry, yet here I am ballin my eyes out! Thank you Michelle and all the wonderful people who work these jobs❤
Sanitation workers have my respect, I never took them under consideration on the things they do for every community across the whole U.S thank you for all you do each and everyone of y’all!!
My level of admiration for her has just skyrocketed, this was harder than FBI training, Secret service Training, this was definitely more impactful. Keep doing what you’re doing! You have a giant heart
There's a massive difference between knowing something in theory, and actually seeing it yourself. This was a very impactful video; thank you for shedding light on one of the most important pillars of civilization that is incredibly underappreciated.
After living in Germany this past year it has taught me there is so much more than throwing stuff in a bin. Ours is broken down into 8 different bins based on plastic, paper, waste, types of glass and more. And the trash people will sort it at the time of pick up so really just taking the little bit of extra time to quickly rinse something before just tossing it to make sure it’s not nasty. Just trying to help more.
i’ve been a garbage man for almost 2 years and this is the most money i’ve ever made and gonna get my cdl and become a driver soon. I love that i’ll always be able to get a job and have the ability work a lot if needed.
I think this video highlights how much that hard-working people can be underappreciated. People out here really trying to feed their families through their own dedication and sacrifice.
As someone who cleans the garbage bins and sometimes have to pick the whole bin by hand to apply pressurised water, i thank the people who throw their stuff in bags and rinse the milk carton!

I agree with you about respecting garbage workers. Sorting and recycling should be a priority for everyone to help the workers!

I was fortunate enough to get away from the toxicness, and for me it only took roughly a year to get back to a good place mentally/emotionally, which is a miracle considering:
Back in my hellementary school days, there were a few teachers “2 in particular (A couple, there last name being Cole, which was very fitting for their hearts) and as for the other, even though he wasn’t nearly as bad, he was still able to make my list” (And 2 IAs, one in particular who was rarely around but was a much bigger bully) that were bullies along with 4 students in particular who were notably worse then the other bullies.

The camerawork, color correction, and storytelling are insane! I'm truly amazed by the quality of the production!
YOu have no idea how much strengh your video give me... it's like "Idk if I can do that tomorrow morning" to "I CAN AND I'M SO GONNA DO THAT TOMORROW MORNING" in an INSTANT, you are a brutal source of energy and inspiration 💙
This might be one of my all-time favorites of Challenge Accepted. Thank you, sanitation workers and all essential workers.
100% agree!
This is my absolute favorite video ever !
The kid recognizing her made me smile. She absolutely made his day.
Thank you all for what you do!
ive yet to see a woman out collecting trash off the back of a truck. Ive never actually seen a woman that could do it.
@@AbBc-w4q what a strange comment, just bc u personally dont see it doesnt mean there arent women who do do it. :/
@@AbBc-w4q There are where I live. Just because you haven't seen any where you live, doesn't mean that they don't exist, that's really weird to think.
Make no mistake, there are no "garbage women", the one or two females a whole company might have are just tokens. You know I'm right.
@@ZalemMoon where did he say that he thinks they don't exist?
I really wish we made everyone in our society do a mandatory week of this to truly internalize what happens behind the scenes.
I agree. A similar case to jury duty u know
As a trash man, I'm not sure I necessarily agree.
Agreed 👍🏾 😊
@Stan Pygott
Yea it's already a dangerous job that requires lots of experience and training.
I feel like lots of random people doing it for a short time would increase the danger a lot.
@@CabbageSandwich deadlier than being a police officer.
She does like 80% of our worlds needs in 30 minutes. It's insane.
She probably doesn’t show everything I’m the video because some parts are cut out
Send her to found civilizations on new planets lol
Jackie is amazing. I always try to wave hi to the trash collectors but this makes me appreciate them on a whole new level.
I AM DYING. I can’t believe Michelle is doing this. She’s such a bad ass! Get it girl! You got this! I love hearing,” Challenge Accepted!” 💯💯💯💯🥇🥇🥇🥇🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Challenge Accepted indeed!!! :)
Sanitation workers deserve nothing but the utmost respect from all of us.
and more money
rare time i actually didnt skip the sponsor ad thanks for keeping things meaningful constantly on these videos. so eye opening
You have a giant heart
literally the fact that she was rated as a 4/10 when she’s excelled at everything else she’s tried!!
I appreciate sanitation workers, custodian staff etc so so much! They maintain our world as we know it and it’s such a blessing to have them!
GOD DAMNIT! I was not expecting a sanitation worker video to make me cry before 9am, but here we are 😭 thank you to all our sanitation workers ❤
OMG same I'm sitting here crying lmfao
i’ve been a garbage man for almost 2 years and this is the most money i’ve ever made and gonna get my cdl and become a driver soon. I love that i’ll always be able to get a job and have the ability work a lot if needed.
I think this video highlights how much that hard-working people can be underappreciated. People out here really trying to feed their families through their own dedication and sacrifice.
welcome to being a man... im talking actual hard work, back breaking labour.
@@AbBc-w4q just like the amazing woman in the video who's been working for 20 years as a garbage collector !! ♀
Wow. I never knew how important/dangerous and hard this job was. I’m so grateful we have people like them to support us ❤
you're still gonna shit on them tho and look down on them
I love how she shows struggles on jobs which don’t get much appreciation or recognition! I love this series! Michelle is such an inspiration ❤
As someone who cleans the garbage bins and sometimes have to pick the whole bin by hand to apply pressurised water, i thank the people who throw their stuff in bags and rinse the milk carton!
this was so impactful. i love the way Jackie delivered her message. i appreciate sanitation workers so much more after this❤
