Great looking F800, excellent condition, so solid. I wish my 700 was in like condition, wiring issues aren't uncommon for this vintage. Keep that dump truck content coming.
That back tray that's bent. We had those for ONLY hitting the paver. Otherwise the blacktop spilled in front of paver, and it had to be manual moved or it made tracks on pave raise when paver moved, messing up grade on blacktop. Unless you are planning on dumping a lot of blacktop. Get rid of it, instead of moving the tail lights. It looks like you just need to replace one only. That's just my Humble Opinion I see it's welded on. Maybe you could just cut it off. YES, the blacktop got in/on the taillights hoses for Air. Just made a mess down there. I Love that it has a good hitch on back on solid plate. Very strong for pulling trailer.
I will just add. The wht. Of your load. Gravel. Pea gravel, ect, will push the rear plate down again. Not what you want. Once it's bent will bend again. Just again my Humble opinion. The Truck looks really nice. Like the Double belts on alternator.
Hey brother got a question I have same truck 99 f800 5.9 Cummins The a/c just went out I have refrigerated changed the fuse I believe to be the fuse but also just FYI the control panel is completely dead no heat no a/c no defrost idk what to do ??

Always, Check Your Parts Before You Leave the parts store!!!....If possible, Match them up to the old ones!!

Thanks for watching!
I had a 1990 F800. My throttle pedal also rotted out at the hinge. Easy fix
The main wiring harness going through the firewall also is known to running through after years of vibration

What happened to the back of the dump body was damage from the asphalt machine

If you aren't planning on haulong asphalt, just remove the spreader lip. Thats really the only work that needs the lip.
The little Deck, is more of a Pain in the Ass, then anything!!....Not good for anything except Holding dirt and Stones as You drive down the road!!

Not sure, sounds like the control panel is definitely the source of the problem.
My grand father has one but it’s a little older
I grew up in one of those with A210 Caterpillar in it 84 model I was 17 now I'm 57 I missed that old truck it was a triaxel 13 speed
I have the same truck, the last owner had to connect a string to cut off the the engine. Do you know what solenoid this is or switch
Should be an electronic solenoid on the injector pump. Thanks for watching!
@@GlennConner thank you so much for the information. Do you have to turn off your truck this way. Or does it turn off at the ignition switch
Mine turns off with the key. Some people do convert them to a shut off cable when the solenoid goes bad.

There should be a lever at the base of the signal switch that pulls out.
Hello sir how are you doing. Just want to say thank you for helping me with my f800. How do you add hydraulic oil it.
On mine, it has a tank under the bed in the middle. So you have to raise the bed and put the lock in place. Then you can add the oil.
