This also works for any image, like a video clip that has a green background when you only want to use the assets I the clip. Thanks for the help, now I can add a 2 second clip in my next video with ease!!

Great Video, I just started using Vegas Pro 18, but For some reason my preview box image doesn't update the changes I am making in the Fx box until I close out of it which is making it a rather annoying and long task to adjust the levels, How do I get them to play together nicely?

hey there super helpful video, do you happen to know how to fix or re-insert the tabs like video fx,media generater, etc ? Idk what happened to my software and it isn't there anymore so I don't have all the edited tools that I had prior to my computer glitching

If you're not moving beyond the green screen, you could have just used the masking tool (second bar in the pan/crop mode) as a way of cropping the non-green parts out without having to zoom in, and maintaining the same res/aspect ratio

Here's another suggestion if you need a green screen and you only have a dollar
Go to Dollar tree and they sell really big paper for $0.69 and that's how much it costs and just buy that and use that as a green screen they do have multiple colors too like blue screen black screen red screen
And that's why I needed this tutorial because I got a green screen that's around $50 and I also have a green paper for $0.69 and it honestly work is better because there's no wrinkles so I recommend that too
