I LOVE the Spacious Grey backdrop...do you have any recommendations on sites for set design backdrops, so rather than a living room backdrop, something more modern studio-ish?
This and part 2 are probably the best no-nonsense videos on green screen I've ever seen. Examining the camera angle and light direction of the chosen background, and the subtle addition of noise and blur - all top notch advice that take your green screen work from amateur to pro. Excellent tutorial!
This is great!!!! It's the best and most detailed video on green screen I've seen so far on UA-cam. The other ones aren't that complete, but this one really give you the whole idea to do this properly! Thank you so much man :)
For those of you on a budget like me, I hung a string of old fashioned lamp light bulbs in a half circle around the green screen and put foil around each light bulb like a cone you would use around a pets head after surgery which pointed the lights in one direction. Five lamp light bulbs strung together above head level costs all of $10.
One little bit of advice in terms of your sound, you should look into using a high pass filter, or 'low cut' to manage your plosives on the mic, although a lot of speaker systems don't tell you what's happening in the very low frequency range, some people are listening with their sub bass units on and the 'P' and 'B' is very audible. A pop shield can help in pre, and a low cut filter to around 100hz will help in post. Thanks for the great video.
I will never be able to understand audio production... So deep and aggressive frustrations...Low pass filter...Unknown universe...Threshold...Unknown universe...
@@lifepath7741 I'm sure you would be able to understand audio production with the right guidance and some patience. Low pass cuts all the signal above a specified frequency, say, 120Hz, leaving only the signal below 120Hz to come through (pass) which would be low frequency. Threshold is to do with dynamic processing, like a gate, or compressor, the threshold is simply the point at which the processing starts to work, it's set at a specified amplitude (dB)... you could think of it as an on and off switch that's triggered by how loud the input signal is.
In the three point lighting set up the "key" light is actually the light that is in front (45 degree angle) and the brightest light in the set up. The fill light will take care of shadows, "fill" in the shadows. The 3rd light would be back light to separate the subject from the background. Bank lights are used to light the green screen evenly ( usually one per side.) You're lucky your chromakey works as well as it does with one light on it, however there is so much addition light in that room it really doesn't make a difference. Great tutorial otherwise! So when it comes to lighting experiment with these set ups and find what works best for you... whatever you want to call your lights.
Pretty good I definitely have to watch again and again u pretty good at explaining.. ill have to play with all the features to get the feel .. so what I see here I didn't knew about it.. . Question , let say I have the setup green screen and all that right already to go.. right I recorder the entire video or I took picture on my studio right in the green screen , now is that something I can edit whenever I want?? So whatbu did there .. u recorded something and u used background can u re-do that same video with a whole different back ground .. ??? And thank u in advance
TNice tutorials man is so good at explanation ...since I have been watcNice tutorialng soft soft tutorials , tNice tutorials is my first ti to really understand it . I love soft
it depends, normally you should double the shutter speed to get a great and natural motion blur. But for green screen productions this generated blur can affect the process so I suggest to keep it higher
what sort of search terms would you use on envato to find the right perspective images etc? struggling to find one that looks normal heigh as you show - looking for an office setting not home
I do mine in HitFilm Pro, you can set it up manually but there's a preset that does it for me in one click and I find the preset works perfectly every time. I 3D modeled and rendered the background I used in my videos. I often had trouble with getting clean edges but I realized it was my camera, a 2016 camcorder, that didn't do well in low light, even though I have 4 100w bulbs on me. I recently upgraded up the Sony ZV-1 and the shots are fantastic now.
This is awesome! I have one question, why does it look as if you’re sitting in a really low chair even though you set the camera at the right level? Compared to the bg image, it looks like the chair is in the middle of the table?
Thank you. And a Question: what lights and green screen do you use? Also, did you buy extra clips to make the sure the green screen is tight? Thank you! Excellent work!
As a beginner, the first part of this video was super informative and so well explained however, when you started talking about vector and the graph, I had no idea what you were explaining so it lost me.. a lot of beginners would probably love a more basic version of this. Superb video for those a little more familiar with camera settings.
Absolutely great job with the video and the Thumnail is great man!!! The thumbnail is greatly thought out. I’m going to do green screen in the future for my videos so this gives me an idea how I’m going to do it 😄 I also like your different angle posses in different parts of the video. Overall good job man!
Hi, I need some advice. I filmed my son with the camera and I want to convert his movements into a 16-bit character for a classic platform game. How can I download his animations? What software is needed and how is it used? Thanks in advance ps: to make you understand, a bit like the rotoscopin for the first Prince of Persia, but using modern software to reduce times. advice?😁
I forgot to mention where I've got the background image, here is the link:

How to use
Please what is the name of the app you are using to edit videos please I need the name

Watch this at 1.5x speed. You’re welcome

Can i use a softbox instead of the windows ? Or should i use a fill light instead?
Definitely better and almost clearer to hear hahah

Why people are not subscribing .this 🔥
This is wonderful. Please can we get the link to the background in the opener?
Hi! I've just added the link in the description
@@JaimeTrujilloVFX hi, do you know how we can add a video as a background for green screen? I’m a little lost lol
damn bro you are super underrated
Isn't it easier to use the dynamic link to after effects instead of rendering the video to import?
Great video! Can't to get started. Is it possible to share the presentation in a PDF file? I'd like to read through the process. Thanks in advance!
Omg thank you for every single video you post. You are so good, love how you explain

Thanks for this video! What microphone & stand are you using?
Hey Jaime what a pleasure to find you on youtube again. Hopefully you remember the Swiss guy from Brisbane.
Really good tutorial! I would just suggest to replace some of the "um" and "uh" with quick silent pauses to think

What makes this video a success is using gears that doesn't require selling one's own organ to purchase like others do.
I can't wait to be able to buy equipment and get my reaction channel's production quality up!
Can you give links to the exact equipment you're using (like green screen, lights etc) thanks in advance :)
thank you for such a thorough tutorial, you're a blessing
