Jamie, these settings are really good! being playing with the snakebyte loaded with hetset, and sound is extremely close. Even just switching amps, without doing any other modification, you can go over Metallica’s era. I do dig the Vjm100 amp for the rithm.
I wish this guy could do a video like this with the Helix. I know it's a little bit more complicated but he simplifies it so much. It's great

Keep in mind the really rich guitar sounds you hear on the records have a lot to do with sampling and not wich the affect/amp setting

Just remove 1024Hz completely. That's the main key. A post eq after the power amp helps too.
Can you please make a couple with NeuralDSP Soldano? Do you ever add anything new to your list?
I have presets on that plugin. They come with it :)

I mean to be fair it's alot better price point than you'd have going off and buying a stockpile of pedals and realistically $250 for selection of amps and pedals like this and all the other benefits is a pretty good value. But also hear where you're coming from on that

There’s no such thing, they used the IIXL+s for a few years and now use the AXE IIIs, which achieve the same tone they had with the IIXL+s, just with more switch features being used.
