    As a Jamaican, I only use the jar when I’m making a lot of chicken. What I noticed is that, as of lately, it has been super salty which forces me only to use about 2 spoonfuls and then expand it with water and brown sugar

    Idk about y’all But I don’t use the whole jar because of how strong it I usually used about 2 spoons and make a separate blended seasoning but good video nonetheless

    Hey tip when making rice n peas. U need to season it with green onion, thyme, pimento, ginger( small piece) and scotch bonnet peppet(small piece). Big difference

    They are call pimento seeds!!! The leaves fresh from the tree etc you can cook with and it gives great flavor to any protein, even in your rice dishes 😃

    Try the Walkerswood brand jerk seasoning its more desired by most Jamaicans looking for a shortcut. Marinate 24hrs. Then use Grace dry oxtail seasoning. Also try Ocho Rios brand oxtail seasoning i love the heavy allspice in that brand.

      Layla Hammoud hi. I’m in the US and Walmart and Target carry it as well as our local grocery stores in the ethnic foods aisle. Also, Amazon has it. Try a local West Indian market if you can’t find it in those places. It’s so worth getting !! Amazing stuff!

      Yes it’s good. It’s what I use when I make “indoor or oven jerk like” chicken. It will cure the craving for the real thing until you have a whole day to grill.

    Grace products are good with exception to the Scotch Bonnet chili. It’s more vinegary than hot. To the Grace rep reading this, more spice please and thank you.

    You can use whatever pounds of chicken you want, just use less of the sauce .

    Love this video!. I was concerned that he needed to drink more water. He doesn't seem to being chewing it thoroughly. when I do that, the rice gets stuck in my throat. It looks amazing!

    Quang i would use plasticware when eating out of an aluminum pan. scraping aluminum and eating it is bad. what else did you season the rice with?

    what kind of oven do you have...i could never crisp that chicken like that, especially all touching like that. it would be rubbery!!! i always have to do on a cooling tray on an oven sheet

    Very simple. You love Jamaican food so much because unlike the other islands in the Caribbean where their food is more bread based influenced by India and nearby regions, Jamaicas is more rice based influenced by the likes of China and it's nearby regions.

    You just gave away one of Jamaica's best secrets. I normally use less of it than you do. Its pimento I think you are trying figure out. Also....please please please shake up the can of coconut milk. The milk solidify and the cream sits on top during shelf life.

    The berries used in our Jamaica jerk called pimento ( pee- men- toe) berries. Other cultures it's called allspices. Grace is a true Jamaica brand.
