Thank you very much for your fantastic review of our site also a big thank you from me your tour guide in the crannog itself. The next time you are up in this neck of the woods,so to speak, be sure and visit our new site just a mile north of Kenmore on the opposite side of the loch Dalerb. A whole new experience is awaiting for everyone with a new museum, cafe, and new iron age village. We welcome everyone with open arms and endevour to give you experience of what life what like for people in the early iron age in Scotland, John
Hi from NZ. Finding this Scottish tour interesting. We are watching were you are going on google maps. During lockdown my husband did my family tree and turns out Robert The Bruce & Robert the 2nd King of Scotland are my ancestors, plus many more but has been amazing to learn all this. The Campbell Clan are also ancestors, apparently they built lots of castles. The Manor of Bideford in Devon was built & lived in by my ancestors.
Looks a wonderful place to visit. We have travelled a lot of America where they explain their history in this sort of way. It's such a good experience to be able to immerse yourself in how things used to be. I love history but in this form it is so much better to understand and brings everything to life of how things were in those days. I wish there were more places like this to visit in the UK. Thanks Bob and Jenny and thanks also to Poppy for the great entertainment. ~ Lin xx
Looked really atmospheric and I loved your guide's accent. Poppy was right to be cautious as we had our first Cocker was water mad and was off her lead and was running full tilt along a jetty with gaps between the planks and jammed her front leg into a gap snapping her leg. It meant a pot leg for a couple of months and a lesson learnt for us to check beforehand. That looked a really good tour and everybody seemed really enthusiastic! Guy.
What a fascinating museum. This is well worth a the visit next time we come to Scotland. We were laughing out loud when we saw Poppy’s response to the puppet show! 😃
Really enjoyed watching this. Good to see you touring without the car, as we don’t tow a car and need to plan visits based on where we can park and access places in our 7.09 m motorhome.. also we never go anywhere where we cant take our two Border Collies in/around with us. Poppy really enjoyed the puppet show, always love to watch her sense of fun and adventure, it is a real tonic. 🐾🐾😍
Really fascinating video Jenny and Bob. It prompted a conversation between Diane and I about what it would be like here in 3020. Perhaps they would refer to it as the Internet Age.

Yes, it was good, pity we couldn't show you the weight stones and lathes demonstrations, but people need to see it for themselves.

We've enjoyed your travels until you mentioned the dreaded Nicola Sturgeon, but hope you enjoy your trip north of the border.
