I hope you enjoyed this video of Loch Tay! Have you been before? If so, what is your favourite thing to do there? 🤔 If you are interested to see what it's like driving to Scotland in an electric vehicle, check out this video here 👉 ua-cam.com/video/xp6qVOB5ZJA/v-deo.html
Poor dronie 🙈 I think the footage was well worth it! I’ve just come across your channel when looking for videos like this for Scotland and I’m so glad I did! The footage is beautiful and the music too! And the way you describe each place and give some history and insight is so informative and interesting! 🙌🏻 will be diving into more of your videos for sure!! X
The places they have there and the nature is really something different and unique!!! Their food really awesome ...love their culture! Wonderful share my dear! Congratulations ❤️😊👏
Looks like a beautiful place. I was on a road trip around Scotland a few years ago but never got to these parts. Loved the waterfalls and the views...and now I feel like googling drone prices again...
The V2 has some amazing upgrades on the V1. It films in 4K now, among other things. I have an old Phantom drone which is great but it's massive so I'm also looking at the Mavic Mini. Maybe I will also treat myself with a drone Christmas present!
hi/low just off to Loc Tay for a few days camping, booked it not knowing what to expect, but thank you for the walkthrough of the area, yeah ~I live Noth East Scotland and start needing to explore more of Scotland, England and Wales, any other vids or recommendations ?
Hope you have an awesome time! It really is a beautiful part of Scotland. I have another video on Scotland. It includes Loch Tay at the start but also shows the drive to Glen Coe (from Loch Tay) and an activity I loved in Fort William: ua-cam.com/video/U4C_NfMRcWU/v-deo.html
Hello Ella, long time no see! Saw your comments on the channel Go Travel on the Cheap and was pleased to see you are still making great videos. I do not know why the messages stopped alerting me to them. Anyway, I'm back on track. Wow, what an epic trip. I have to admit to having held my breath also experiencing 'distance reach stress' 😂! It is one of my stresses too on long trips. Though only for fuel not electric. And that Tesla, that was awesome. We love Scotland too with its rolling hills, mountain ranges and unspoilt countryside. Happy travels. I'll do some catch up video watching from time to time. Have a great Sunday. 👍 🙏 🇳🇿 🙋♀️ 🇳🇱
Hi Oma! I hope you are good and it's great to hear from you again. UA-cam can be temperamental at times. I'm glad I'm not the only one who worries about range, haha! Hope you have a great week and I need to catch up with your videos too!
@@EllaMcKendrick thanks. Yes apart from YT hiccups all well here. COVID didn’t stop me from staying active thank goodness. Now enjoying a lovely summer. Be well and enjoy your week. 😎🌹🇳🇱🙋♀️🇳🇿
What a stunning area, looks like another one to add to my list. Nice surprise with the car chargers too! Loved seeing that viewpoint, looks beautiful. Amazing drone shots over the river as well - scary moment at the waterfall though! I'm always too slow on the draw with my camera to catch animals. Great way to end at the castle
It was such a relief to find car chargers there! They are popping up in more and more places which is perfect for solving range issues when travelling. Drones can be quite traumatic things! They have a mind of their own sometime 😂
I have never driven an electric car especially a Tesla before. That is really cool it locks the charger. I have wondered about that before in how it prevents from someone taking it to charge their car. I love the beautiful views of this entire area!
Hopefully it won't be too long till electric cars become the norm. I completely believe they are the way forward. Yes, it's so neat how it locks in! I was a little confused at first and tried to pull it out to no avail 😂
Bump! 😄 It looks like your left boot laces are about to come untied... 😜 Ooo, we would be curious to see if we could get closer to the bridge in ruins! Always love some waterfall slow-mo. Whew, good thing you didn't lose your drone! Interesting sign at 6:42...red squirrels...never seen a road sign for squirrels before. Very cool drone shot of the castle! What did you cook in your cottage?
OK, I may struggle to tie my laces 😂 They always come loose so I think I'm doing something wrong. I did walk right to the bridge ruins but didn't have my camera on me and somehow forgot to film on my phone too! It was fenced off but it was still pretty cool. Red squirrels are very rare in the UK. They have been pushed out by grey squirrels which are not native to the UK. So it's very important their numbers aren't damaged even more, hence the sign. I hadn't seen a sign for them before either! I was staying at a cottage with my extended family and we took in in turns to cook. For my evening I cooked some lamb seekh kebabs and a unique curry I call the Ella special as I have no clue what it is! I don't tend to follow recipes, haha
LOL, do you double-knot your laces? I always tell Wayne he should double-knot his because his often come untied, ha. Ohhh, interesting about the squirrels! Your kebabs sound tasty! Wayne doesn't usually follow recipes either 😆
@@GoTravelOnTheCheap I do try and double-knot them! I tie laces by making little bows and knotting them together which I think is the wrong way, lol. I don't mean to blow my own trumpet but the kebabs went down a real treat 😂 relatives said they were the best they'd ever had, haha. Although I did follow a recipe for that one. Not following recipes allows you to get creative and make new, exciting things!
Scotland is on my short list when we travel back to the UK…Love the “Tezzy”…what a great touring car 😎 Wow…the views are stunning! Whoa…you were lucky with your drone…I’ve lost a couple doing the same thing! 😂 Thanks for sharing your trip from this gorgeous place!
The Tezzy was a lovely car to drive through Scotland in. It was very smooth and took some pressure off the driving to enjoy the surroundings! Oh no! I'm sorry you lost some drones. Do they often just lose control then? 🙈
It was additional info for people who watched the previous video (which was about how easy it is to drive to Scotland in an EV). But upon reflection I definitely should have included that in the video about EVs, not this one. You can use the 'chapters' feature to skip to the end of that segment. Thanks for your feedback, it helps me to improve in future 🙂

Great footage - I find the Taymouth Castle situation VERY eerie!
Gotta agree with you there - it is eerie! So bizarre how they still seem to be maintaining a golf course which no one is allowed to use.
Spent summers in my childhood around loch tay. Its home. Love the whole area. Always go there when i come back to Scotland to see family.
That's so wonderful. What a beautiful place to spend your summers. Thanks for sharing!
Lovely view with a great shooting ...really love it from the smiling coast of fest Africa
Thanks so much! All the best to you in The Gambia 😁
I’ve just come back from a holiday here! Booked again April, travelling all the way from Fife!
Amazing, so glad to hear you had a wonderful time!
This looks so beautiful! Loch Tay has been on my Want To Go list for a while
Thank you for watching! Yes, Loch Tay is a lovely location. There is so much to see and do. I'm hoping to return this summer and explore more.
Thank you, Ella. This will make a wonderful area for my fictional characters to move to from Ireland. The tale continues....
I'm glad you found it useful! I hope you're fictional characters enjoy their new home!

Thanks for watching! There's a new drone that's been released which looks like a good price - the DJI Mavic Mini 2 ;)
