Of course they know Frankie speaks goat. Who doesn't know Frankie speaks goat? Everybody knows Frankie speaks goat.
The price match is awesome....as expensive as some knives are getting being able to actually hold them and feel the action is much better than looking at a picture on a screen.
💯 - A few months back I got a great Vortex red dot for around $40 less than their asking price because of price matching (Gotta credit my wife for that one!) 😊
@@jmmartin7766 who do they price match for though? i doubt anywhere online?
@@Ryan.S924 I think the price she found WAS online, because we don't do newspapers (or catalogues, really) in my house. If I remember right, she showed the guy at the register *before* he started to ring it up... All you gotta do is ask, and all *they* can do is say, "no" - Good luck
@@jmmartin7766 yeah I finished the video and found out they do match online prices. I wasn’t sure if it was just with other big box stores or anywhere online. Glad they care to hook it up even if it’s just a little. Hard to beat vortex warranty.
I live in Ireland and of course we don’t have cabelas but I used to be able to purchase online, unfortunately they stopped posting to Northern Ireland 😢
Cabelas is where I bought most of my knives starting out. Got my first nice knife, the Benchmade griptillian there.
I have been amazed by the number of knives stocked at Cabela's over the last couple of years. It has been a good place for knife enthusiast to shop.
That D2 mini grip and orange bladed bugout are cabelas exclusives . I have a cabelas about 10 minutes away.
16:57 I didn’t know they had a price match guarantee…, that’s awesome, I gotta say…, that’s American as f**k…, I love it…, I might have to go check them out, I think the closest one near me is probably in Wilmington about a hour or so away, that orange bladed bugout was pretty awesome, I wonder what the blade steel is on it…
Well I watched this and seen that grey bugout with the blaze orange blade and raced to my local Cabela’s and picked one up 😅 it’s their exclusive. thanks guys!
That Buck 110 is the exact same price on Amazon but includes the leather sheath.
I have a couple of Benchmade Auto’s that I like. cabella’s had a ZT I wanted a few years back but I passed on it .... I now regret not getting it.... I have slowed down on knife buying in the past few years (and fire arms too) ... I guess I’m just getting kinda BROKE. ($$$$$ wise). I still like to look though...
Honestly the selection is pretty good. It has basically everything from budget to mid-range.
Once you get past $300 I think you get into enthusiast territory.
That CF 940 would be my choice
Props to the employee for being so positive and upbeat.
He was
Been to Bass Pro about 5 times in the last year and the employees are always helpful and pleasant to talk to
That's the average going price for a 110.
Ok, going to check knives, and end up with Butt Pucker?? Y’all are awesome!!! Bird I think you even shocked Frankie on this trip 😁👍. I spend too much at Cabela’s 😂. I can’t believe they want $500 for Yeti cooler, that’s expensive to me. Love these shopping tours and looking at the budget side of knives. Seems like prices are going up on the name brand knives. The Benchmade Bugout seems to have creeped up in price since I got mine. Also the 940 has gone up at least $50, since I got mine.
Thank you 😆
Ya to be fair, the prices on a lot of these knives have gone up everywhere
Finally some one saying it outloud, nice designs SH!T steel........ crkt
I have a Bass Pro Shop(same company) maybe an hour away and have bought many knives there, including 3 Benchmades.
Ever checked out a Tractor Supply? Online they’ve some known brands (Gerber, Kershaw, SOG….)
ours didn’t have anything for knives 😞
I got a SOG escape FL for 20 at mine here in central PA then the day after I a gerber pledge for 25
Vancouver island amd I have a cabelas here. One quick 2 and a half hour ferry ride to a Bass pro shop. Lol
Have Cabelas and Bass Pro, same thing thing sorta anymore though
Have the Bass Pro version Nearby.
Oh for what it is worth. WalMart is starting to get in their $6 Christmas knives.
haha awesome 😆😆
I Do. And i almost went today. It's the Same one You guys went 2.. I live about 15min from there and go there about once a Month.. 😂
See you around sometime 👋
@@BirdShotIV 👋👊
I was ban from all bass pro shops doing this same thing. The management invited me to the hamburg location and then lied to the police and had me trespassed. My video is up.
That d2grip is exclusive
I’ve always had great experiences at Cabelas. The counter guys are more than happy to chat about knives and it’s nice to be able to handle things like Benchmade and Case, even Spyderco, so you can pick the one that feels best put together. Only drawback is the inventory gets a bit stale. They run the same models for a loooong time.
That’s an amazing amount of knives
Gerber Center Drive Black is same price on Amazon
small world same cabela's i was there 3 days ago would have ran into you guys
Cool,spydeco
Price match guarantee ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😮🤪😇👌
Here in CA we have Bass Pro which is the company that bought Cabelas. Thanks for bringing us along. 👍
Anal Angst...LOL...We have a Cabelas about 3 miles away here in Omaha. I bought my Gerber Strongarm there many years ago.
😆😆👍👍
There is a huge Cabelas about 45 min southwest of me. In WV. It’s gigantic. I love going there. Now I need to take a trip to Cabelas
I got one of the Cabela's 'Alaskan Guide' Buck 110. Brass hardware, rosewood, and S30V steel.
It had the 'Alaskan Guide' logo on it, but not a particular fan of it, so a judicious use of the Missus nail polish remover took it off the blade with no damage to the cerakote on the blade.
Like uncle henry knifes are best knifes lol
We don't got all thoses at are stores it's slim pickins
Cabela's and Bass pro shop has really nice knives. I bit over priced compared to the internet but thats a given.
3rd 🥉
Gerber Principle is same price on Amazon.
I remember when the Spyderco Tenacious was like $36 😔
😆😆
Did we just watch a hot sauce video? Bird, we will need the follow up please. Frankie, let us know if he sweats!
😅 😅
I have a Bass Pro about 10mins away, Cabela's is 45mins away.
Not bad
That’s a fun store! That’s also the Cabelas near me… love your shopping videos!! All the best!!
We have a cabelas and a sportsman's warehouse in albuquerque
Good knife selection?
We had a Cabelas and a Bass Pro within 5 minutes but then Bass pro bought them now we just have Bass Pro haven't been in awhile though. Academy Sports has a good bit of knives near my house if you guys have that store.
I have a buck 191 in 420c and I know this is supposed to be a “crappy” steel but I swear I can gut a half dozen deer before that thing won’t shave anymore.
Cabelas in Dundee MI, is 30 mins from me, here in TOLEDO, OH.!
🔪👍😁👍🔧
Top 🇧🇷
I first had a fake Benchmade bugout but I have now bought a real one. For me It is hard to see the difference but i can feel it.
Need to see a review of the hot sauce
MENUDA COLECCIÓN DE NAVAJAS Y CUCHILLOS TIENEN EN ESE SUPERMERCADO. Un poco caros los precios, aunque son navajas de primeras marcas. Muchas gracias por compartir.
Happy Labor Day 🇺🇸 !!!
We want a report on the hot sauce.
They have what we wanted 4 years ago 😂. As for Hot sauce try hellfires doomed, or double doomed, heatonist the last dab Apollo, or alchemy watermelon ghost, don’t get pure extracts unless you want to kill your stomach!
I love going in to "Bass Pro/Cabela's." Just got a few things from them for Christmas (thanks to my wife😊), including that Buck Cavalier you looked at (yeah, I know the steel's not the best, but it looks nice, hides great & sharpens easily).
Also got about three of their "off brand" Multi-tools as stocking stuffers. The quality's not bad, & they're great for stashing around the house & vehicles...
Also got the Streamlight Protac 1AAA & the Gerber Truss for EDC (both are excellent)
I own a couple of Buck knives one is the 119 . Very nice looking with nice steel, but very bad for hunting. The Handel is hard black material that is extremely slick when gutting game. Almost dangerous. I modified this with some inter tube rubber and it helped.just saying from my experience.😊
Picked up a SOG Ultra xr at my local Cabelas. They had lost the box so i got it for under a hundred. Good day.
Awesome video guys, I got a Ramsey outdoors next to me they carry Spyderco benchmade zt and a shit ton of kershaw
Bass Pro bought Cabela's, but I believe Cabela's features firearms more than Bass Pro locations. I have both within an hour from me.
I was at a Cabelas/Bass Pro recently looking through the typical selection of Case knives and found an antique bone Case Tribal Lock. As a Case collector, it was a nice find.
I'm guessing you've tried the scorpion sauce from Tabasco. THAT is some hot stuff - love it
I love Cabelas when I go there I spend like 3 hrs there. 1 being dedicated to firearms.
It’s a destination worthy store, worth a little drive to get to
@@BirdShotIV for sure. It’s an experience that takes an entire day imo.
I was looking at the Buck with the blue pivot collar today. Bad steel but a good looking knife.
Unfortunately Buck started importing a bunch of their knives from China back in the early 2000s. Neither that 264 or 327 you guys were looking at are made in the United States. I avoid that Chineseium shit like the plague. For $20 more you can get an American made knife.
Woman keeps $500 knives in her bra but won't buy anything over $5
Gotta Bass Pro next door instead 🤷🏽♂️😅. Close enough I suppose. 😊👍🏽 Great video once again! Keep up the great work!
Great video. My go to for knives is Chicago Knife Works online shopping. The best prices and great deals in the clearance section to move the merch. I always compare to Cabelas/Bass/Amazon before buying and CKW knocks it out of the park.
They had this cool CF and wood detail Benchmade 940 exclusive - too bad they discontinued it
I find that Cabelas sells right at or close to MSRP. Buck, Gerber and SOG must pay a fortune for product placement. Knife people don’t buy knives at Cabelas or Bass pro unless it’s an emergency.
How dare you go to Cabela's and not invite me
You weren’t NOT invited
I’ll give 2 👍👍because I made ALL the way, definitely want a Heat Level report on the “Butt Pucker” but no interest in the “colon cleanser” ect…Thanks 😎
Wow.....that actually surprised me . Good luck with the butt pucker 👹🔥🔥
You guys inspired me to find a Cabela's which is about 48 miles away in West Virginia.
Frankie lol
Way too expensive for the gerber dime. I believe usually around 12- 15 dollars . Cheers you two love birds. Stay safe.😊
Cabela's is like a 45 minute drive for me. They do have a decent selection of stuff. Grabbed a sog powerpint last time I went.
I was wrong 16:15 ONLINE price match!! damn good on cabelas for that!
Yes, we have a Cabela's in Michigan 40 minutes away. I do enjoy your show. Loved the tunnel and psych ward shows. Nice you left the boys a gift.
👍
The Cabela's where I live is where I picked up my 940-1 and mini bugout
Great little tour guys. I experienced pretty much the same feel of the Cabela's store They have most of the standard Benchmade,CRKT,Buck and traditional knives. I don't have a store located near me but when ever I travel I always check them out all on the east coast so I don know if they differ regionally. I was scrolling for something else today and had to stop and watch when I saw Frankie.
"You like it wet." 😂😂🤣🤣💦💦
That was a good ending comment..... LMFAO!!
One thing is I don't get someone saying junk steel without testing It. One steel can easily out perform another depending on how well it was made. You may have been watched a bit at first because you kept touching everything and that's not normal. That's the time when security has to watch carefully because your handling many things in a short time. You did no bad but as a security guard it does look a bit suspicious because it's out of the ordinary. I'm just telling you a possible reason for being watched. The are not judging you personally just your movements.
Being able to handle a knife before buying it would be great 😃😃😃
Yeah, most of those are budget to mid-price knives. Decent knives start at the low end of 100.
From Milwaukee WI, 30 Min drive to Cabela's 👍
You guys rock! Cool couple…. Thanks for sharing.
We have a Cabala /Bass Pro Shop all in one a huge store with two stories. Fun to look around
I'm not a fan of Kershaw anymore. I have steak & bread knives that the handle material is some kind of rubber that is turning gooy. They refuse to warranty them.
Who doesn't have knives floating around the house? 🧐🤣
My local Cabela's has the best price on stripped lowers
Lots of gun accessories, impressive.
Not for this video 🤷♂️🤷♀️
@@BirdShotIV in this house we keep BirdShot IV monetized
Good price match for a ken onion sharpener cabalas price $ 140 amazon $99 I no where i am going today
Cabelas and bass pro shops are awesome, they always have good knifes and other sharp stuff 🔪
We need a Bird & Frankie trying Hot Sauces Vid!
Pretty sure I paid 180 bucks for my Zt0350
So im a pretty hardcore knife guy and my work beater/hunting beater is the outdoor edge edc what ever with the replaceable blades and ive come to really enjoy that thing
Bass pro and cabelas have always been a bit high on there knives in my opinion.
Waaaay more knives at your cabelas than at my local cabelas.Grear sekection..I mostly buy clothes there.
I have a Cabela’s near me. I have there credit card and I use my points to get knives when I buy gas and groceries.
We have Bass Pro Shops in CA. Same company as Cabela's. My favorite is Scheels in Sparks, NV. If you've never been to a Scheels, it's a huge amazing place.
Don’t think we have one of those nearby
So back in the day I would have been tempted to make a webpage with a knife on it for real cheap just to get some store to match it. Wonder if anyone has done that?
Why didn’t you guys show/ talk about the case knives?
