Amazing! Despite the long, hot summer everything looked so fresh and green...and no sign of rain for your wild camp.
Ken Henley I know. Three camps and not a bad bit of weather to be seen. Could this be the start of a new era for Summit or Nothing wildcamping?....🤔🤔🤔
I must say these 'tors' are great to look at, cracking views of them too lads. I wonder if Nath would be jumping off cliffs if he was still on the ''tools'' lol. Looking forward to that wildcamp now............as a footnote I think that bird was a Wheatear.........cheers,Stu.
Stu Bloggs Cheers Stu. Tis a booty place. Haha. I've heard that's a wheatear, a youngen too. I always ping pics of birds along for identification to my fren Stan (that is called James), my twitcher friend from the Brixham coast walk. Cheers for watching, Stu!
I'm with Nath, I like that part of the moor with more trees and greenery to look at, great vid as always dudes. Lee
Burton Outdoors Yep, it is a special part of the moor. Cheers for watching, Lee.
Thanks for pointing me in the direction of Peakery. It is now my new favourite thing.
Hippy AIDS Cool. Glad you are enjoying it.
Just recently came across this channel watched the first few videos enjoyed them a lot and I know some of the areas you have been too as I have done Ten Tors over the past 3 year's. It's brilliant Dartmoor with the views and it's good too you're channel showings it's full potential Keep up the good work and Walking 😆
Harry Mcsherry Cheers Harry. Thanks for watching and well done on the ten Tors. Dartmoor certainly is a fantastic location. Stunning, even if it's not always sunny (see our wildcamping lol). All the best mate, hope you continue to enjoy our channel!
Cheers guys thanks for my Sunday night treat once again
Alex hillman No, thanks for watching, Alex!
Really like the look of this area, stunning views! And big rocks to play on, just our cuppa tea! Looking forward to the wild camp it looks like you were set for a perfect evening! Great vid guys! 👍🏻👍🏻
Backpacks and Bruises You'd love it here. Definitely an area to explore when you finally make your Dartmoor debut. South Devon is a great area full stop. Thanks for watching!
Watching your videos makes me wanna go back so badly!! I love your videos!!
Ah cool thanks. Just get back out there!! Cheers for watching and glad you enjoy them. Don't forget to share where ever you can!
Another nice hike and video gents, loving your banter! Some absolutely stunning views from the tors, great stuff 😎👍👍👍
unowho travel channel thanks very much. Was a stunning location. Thanks for watching!
Quality video, very well done....I enjoyed it lots 😀 Beautiful scenery too..great stuff, cheers 👍
Robert Shand Thanks Robert. Glad you enjoyed it.
very Satie-sfied with the piano music.
dave bennett 🤣🤣🤣
What a stunning area... WOW... I could do that area for sure...👍 Don't think I would be climbing and jumping off of and landing on rocks with a full pack like Nate... 😳 🚑 Looking forward to the camp. Cheers at the pub... 🍺
Hike Camp A much needed pint after that, and may I add that it hit the spot too. You'd love it here Max, really picturesque area. You would have caught me making that jump either. Thanks for watching Max. All the best !!
I taught Nath how to jump. Really, I did.
George Post I heard that rumour.
Some lovely tor's and hills there guys
Thanks for sharing
ATB Mike
StayCornish😬
Cornish Knives & Camping was a cracking area mate. Was glad to get back there after our last debacle. Thanks for watching mate! Hope you enjoyed the Brecon beacons
This range of tors are on Bonehill Down, not Haytor.
I do love the Chinkwell Tor summit views and Honeybag Tor is huge!
ATB Max
Beautiful Dartmoor I knew we'd have for something wrong. Haha. Only refer to it as surrounding Haytor as it's in a fairly close proximity and Haytor after all is one of the most popular Tors. Cheers for watching buddy
Great videos guys but just one thing please - got confused as to which videos are part of a series 🤔
sky blue If you get confused, just go to our channel and we post each adventure up in order. This is in Dartmoor bitesized playlist and if you play from the start will play all episodes in order. Thanks for watching.
Another great vid guys! Did you test out the new tent the weekend just gone? Seeing that the wether was perfect for you😂
N3il.H I thought the very same thing!! Was just our preferred conditions.
Beautiful Area and great shot of a wheatear. Nath should be carrying a parachute if he’s gonna jump of anything that high.im thinking of doing some vlogging myself. if you don’t mind Trev, what editing program do you recommend for a newbie. I want to do something around wildcamping coupled with my wildlife photography experiences.
Great as always
Regards
Neil (Exmouth)
Wildcamps & Wildlife Alright Neil. Was a great area for a hike. Big hot but we survived. When I started out I used to use Windows movie maker, but when they updated it it became awful so I just went out and purchased Sony Vegas. It's quite expensive for starting I think but there's no end to what you can do with it. There is a link below in the details I think. Good luck with your own vlogging. Look forward to seeing them. Thanks for watching.
Great vid again chaps...quick question...how much consideration do you give to overall kit weights? As a wild camper I pay close attention to it and bear in mind my kit weight when route planning...just wondered how much consideration you guys give it? Cheers!
andy holtorp We pay closer attention these days than we used to, that's half the reason we have both gone for tarps. That being said our camera gear does step the weight up a touch. I think I was carrying about 12kgs on this trip, much better than the 2kgs I started with.... Ouch!!!
"It's looking a bit ferny" lol, yes it did. "he only bloody done it", I had my eyes closed to be honest, I was thinking Nath's weight plus the weight of his backpack all onto 2 knee joints, owch, when he gets to my age he will regret that, just like I do now lol. Apart from chewing on Nath's sweaty nuts, it looks like you are going to have a great and dry nights camp - fingers crossed. Cheers Alan
Alan METALMAN - Hiking & Outdoors I know, he's a complete nutter. I struggle to jump off a pavement. It's been a scorching day so far, looking like a great camp.... Again?! What's that all about lol. Thanks for watching, Alan.
Nicely put together little film.
I don't really know that side of the moor, I'll watch your video and count these tors as done. That way saving myself from being raped by Cossacks or whoever lives that far east.
rhialobran Hahaha. You need to see it first hand. Absolutely stunning, and although it looks good on the video, it really doesn't do it justice! Thanks for watching!
Just a quick question do you ever get told not to wild camp id be scared to camp in case i got told off atb bob in thailan
We haven't yet although we often find out after we return that we weren't supposed to camp where we had.
