- ESEE 5 and IZULA Sheath Combo. I made a sheath for my ESEE-5 and IZULA to carry at the same time. This will be great for my Bushcraft and survival needs. I will also use it for backpacking on the trail.

This is nice...Nice work love seeing people make custom stuff to make it suite yourself.
Might do this myself.
Thx for info on spacer and bolt size.

Duuuuuude as an ESEE 5 owner I would for sure be interested in making one of these! That is a great setup buddy! Great video! Also that Cody Lundin book is awesome!! Read it through once and referenced it many times!

Kudos! I have both knives, awesome blades. You made a sweet set up. Great workmanship. Keep it up! Cheers
Hmm? The space between the sheaths could be used to stash something.....

You re so talented. Great build. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks , I had fun making it
Say Heah, Thanx for sharing, I just recently just bought a Piggyback Sheath for my Rodent 7 and my Rodent 4 which is one of my Fav. Bush Craft Knife. I combined the two and Baldric Carry them. As far as my BK-14 which is similar to your Izula But I put Slabs in mine, (I have 2) I usually neck carry it, But my Fav. Tank is my Rodent 6 which I had modified by taking the top guard off and thinning down the blade. I also got the Benchmade Arvensis 119 and the Bokor Coye Ridgeback for my B'Day tge Arvensis is a 154 CM and the Ridgeback is in 440c a nice matching set I might Piggyback. I wanted stainless for wet and snowy trips. I think you made a nice set-up with the Essee's, Job well done.

Hey man, awesome setup, how do I get the ferro rod to work with the esee 5, I can’t get it to ignite on the knife. Do I need to sand down the top of the knife coating? Thanks.

Awesome sheath mod.
Timber Wolf Thank you
Nice mods, I've been wanting to tinker with Kydex.
I am going to make more sheaths
Awesome job!How did you form the kydex to hold the small knife?
It was simple. The kydex went over the choil to hold it in. Thanks for watching
VERY NICE! great idea. I guess with even longer bolts you could mount it all to the esee molee back. any chance you can send me a pancake for my Izula? ;)
How did you make the pancake sheath?
Check out my sheath mods I made for the ESEE-5 and the IZULA.
Nice piggyback sheath! Great knifes John you will like them. I would do a dangler for it!
Thanks Buddy.
Very nice work
Thanks my friend
No i mean how did the imprint of the izula get into the kydex?Heat gun?Torch?ETC...
I used the stove at 250 degrees and then a heat gun if needed to touch up.
also used 2 pieces of foam in a vice
You still running this setup? Nice idea but a heavy setup.
It is heavy. I use it still for hunting and camp
Where did you find the 8/32 longer screws?
Ace Hardware, or you can get at big box home improvement stores. Thanks for watching
live4wild are they the coated screws as well? Or just stainless
Stainless , thanks
I would like to buy the sheath Izula. where I buy?
Fabio José Ribeiro do Nascimento I am trying to get a guy to make some mine is ok for myself. The quality needs to be better.

Looking nice, but if you loose one knife, you loose both of your knifes. Just sayin'...
