Hi! First of all, thank you very much for this video; this is exactly what I was looking for!
Secondly, the 6mm hex/allen bit by Leatherman is different in shape (more rectangular than hexagonal) from the actual 6mm hex/allen key on your other multi-tool? So, I'm wondering if the Leatherman bit is able to get the job done with actual hex/allen screws?

I bought my kit around early 2017 and mine included the t6/t8, but instead of the PZ3/r1, my set substituted the PZ3 part for an r2. So my bit is r2/r1!

I purchased two bits sets on separate occasions and noted a "slight" difference in bit assortments, I seem to recall that when it comes to certain bits like torx or hex, it will vary a little, but not much

In practice you had better have a flashlight to read the marks on the bits! I can't hardly read the designations on my set. They say these bits work with other brand tools, but I forget which... I think maybe the Walmart fake Wave...? Whatever it's called... They have to have an internal mechanism to hold the bit on the groove on the middle of the bit. Leatherman tools cost too much, and I spend all kinds of time trying to get myself to pay the extra BUCK$... Still trying to get myself to buy a Surge... OZARK TRAIL!!! I think somebody said the Wallyworld OZARK TRAIL fake Wave multi-tools can use these 2D bits... IMHO

it's interesting cause I have this same exact set that I bought years ago and now it looks like they have updated some bits and removed some and included the torx 6 and torx 8.

Maybe not.. Since I modified what bits I carry to suit my needs.. I have 2 complete sets and small half set. Thank you!

Chris Acero I'm actually glad to hear that I have some torx 8 things I have to mess with and hope the kit I get has it. Thanks

No, That's bullshit, I carry a Gerber Center Drive and it beats any Leatherman that depends on proprietary bits. It's just a greedy money grab by Leatherman. You lose one of those bits and you're screwed!! No thanks, I'd rather rely on my Center Drive with a 64 quarter-inch bit set that I can use with my Center Drive!! Good luck finding a Leatherman security bit set!!!
