I own a black mamba pro. 65 pounds 29.5” draw. This is my first ever bow. And I f***ing love it. Like literally have zero complaints. Definitely was a scary bow to use when first starting but after 50 arrows I felt so dialed. Last week I smoked a 6x6 elk at 54 yards, double lung shot, went right thru the bull, and broke his rib while exiting. I’m definitely a beginner with bow hunting and this bow is just so easy to tune and dial in. I used every single feature except for the cam stop and honestly they are so helpful and handy. I love this bow
I have the black mamba pro, 70lbs @29.5" draw shooting a 458gr arrow at 302FPS! I shot a muley buck at 24 yards this season with the g5 Deadmeat... my arrow had a perfect pass threw and flew another 40 yards. The bow shoots amazing, by far my favourite bow
I believe into giving people their flowers. Bruh you have one of the BEST reviews ever. I don't have to want the bow. Like it doesnt even fit me. But I will still watch your reviews because they are just that good. Love your channel.
Your take is spot on! I got the Mamba air (28" ata) to have the lightest most compact setup possible. Loved that aspect of it but the string angle was sooooo terrible for me that I had to compromise my comfort and posture just to get a sight to hit target at 20 yards. Peep was so low and sight at its max height and I was still shooting high. 29" draw. Just got rid of it today. I think I'll go for a Mamba 33 in the future.
Bowtech bows we used to use a thinner rubber on the stops to get more let off and valley years ago, Even on the bowtech experience I out 4 times as thick because it had so much let off and valley and it fixed it perfectly. Those bows are really nice looking.
I own a black mamba pro. 70 lbs 30" draw. I don't see what people cry about. Yes the valley is tiny. It's a 20lb hold. It shoots amazing. Shoots fast. Super light easy to handle. People are to spoiled. Personally I like having that pressure to hold it. Allows better balance and stability while aiming. After 100+ shots i have noticed the bow smoothed out more.
I have found it hard to separate products I love as well, it’s our job to split hairs and let the consumer know the ends and outs of each bow and gear, we do our best, thanks for watching and commenting send us a pic when u harvest something with that speed demon
@@BackyardBows I know people nit pick which I understand it's not for everyone. It's so easy to handle practical and for the speeds and power it has it is very smooth and dead in the hand. Was a good review
I love the fact that they let people "test drive" their bows. I'm still thinking I want to max out the black mamaba 33 at 32" draw, but I can try it first and go up if I decide I don't like it. Right now i'm shooting a PSE EVO XF 33 E2 and I'm not sure how much the string angle will change between the size of the cams and the flex of the limbs.
Sounds like you need to raise your d-loop just a tad to get a faster hold on your target , it's worth a try. That bow is fast for a long AToA and 7 inch brace plus it looks like it doesn't dump into the valley as hard as my Mathews V3X. I will be testing a few in the future.
Maybe take a look at mfjj's new decibel testing to modify your setup. He uses a blocking wall to try to keep arrow impact out of the equation. Channel keeps getting better everyday, brother!
I loved the speed and the heavy duty feel of the bow but couldn’t get over the draw cycle. I had the dg at 88 lbs though. I bought the rx8 ultra and love the smoothness but feel like I could break it sooo easily
If I cannot relax at all into the shot it's a big no for me! My mathews heli-m was the first bow that I could not relax on the shot and I found myself gripping the crap out of the bow. That bow made me switch to Elite.
Can you test all the bows at a shorter draw? Length areamaybe around 27 and a 1/2. Inch drawings period with a 350 grain arrow 450 grain arrow and a 550 grain arrow period I've heard these AP. A bows shoot way way way. Harder at a shorter draw length than other bows.
If it didn’t shoot in the 290s with a 500gr arrow, then there is no way it shoots 350gr at 344. Maybe you are shooting through chrono at an angle. Most bows will over perform speed rating with an arrow that heavy

The secret to owning an APA (King Cobra DG 70#) is ironclad shoulder strength and a desire to use the same pin out to 40+ yards.
@dysonsphere i want a king cobra at 100# but I want to hunt this year first then I'll save and get one 😂
I have a blk mamba 35, dicontinued now but absolutely smooth
and again, get the titanium hardware upgrade , it really makes a difference in vibration ect.
The pride of 🇨🇦
The valley is customizable with the draw stops
I think very little in my experience
Change the draw stop to a smaller around stop or do they have the custom stops for that the adjustable 75-90@@BackyardBows
I have the APA black mamba 28 it is set at 76 lb 29 inch draw and is an absolute screamer

You can take out some vibe in the hand with aftermarket silencers on the riser below the limb bolts.
That bow is really light correct?
I have the air which is 28” ata with 28.5” draw and love it at 70# just as east as my v3 27.
Would love to get the air in my hand a
Funny I just watched your review on this last night.

I wish they would make a model with a riser that has less reflex in it. 36" would be a good platform for that to happen on.

That was the goal with this Vegas target and the dampener on front but not as quiet as I would have liked

That is a hard comparison lol and that rx8 is tougher than u think

Best review channel on UA-cam. I am looking for a rx4 in good shape. To add to the collection
Just got mine in 🔥
