Lol I said I wasn't going to get another bow for 5 years after getting my RVX32 but I'm a sucker for new stuff. may have to try that new PSE carbon bow out.
@@SouthernDrawTN PSE makes a great bow. I looked back over the year though and it almost made me sick to see the amount of money I’ve spent on archery. If anything, I plan to go down to 1 or 2 bows because three is just too much to maintain and shoot and all that.
@@joelculpepperoutdoors4262 Well i only have one, so if you want to lighten the load, just donate one over here :P lol j/k. I can barely keep up with one.
I have the triax,v3x29, lift 29.5. The lift is a no brainer to me with amazing with a bridge lock stabilizer it adds enough substance to it but not to much weight. It’s a sweet shooter with that longer straighter riser. Also from what was leaked by Chris bee probably why he hasn’t made a video in awhile. They added a 27” bow and they dropped the top hat system and adopted the easy tune feature. Only needed an Allen wrench. Also changed the grip. The shot sense wasn’t supposed to drop until 2025 but they did because they already made the cutout on the riser for the lift to reduce weight so they added it just to generate extra revenue. 27” 29.5 and a 33”… some guys claim they added a faster bow 371ibo
@@charlie-xu4zu Sounds like a big year for Mathews! I stopped watching Chris B after the buffalo video so I haven’t seen the leak. But if they have fixed the tuning issue and the grip, they may have a near perfect bow!
@ I hate the grip. I used a cheese greater to square off the roundness on my lift since I didn’t have a dremel and it shoots so much better and the grip is a little tackier. There is no link to the video anymore I’ve tried over and over to find it. Believe it came out in April or may. I usually buy every other bow and wasn’t sure about the lift limbs being so short and limb pockets being deep I figured limbs would fracture and I had shoulder surgery so I just bought one recently just killed my biggest buck in Michigan public but I used my crossbow and shot it left handed from the ground leaning against a tree with no cover so I had a handicap there. I can draw fine just really shaky and don’t wanna injure a deer because I can’t float my pins well enough yet. I saw that video of the buffaloe then like an hr later it disappeared.
@joelculpepperoutdoors4262 100% .. I've killed alot of deer and other animals with it... that bow and My set up is proof you don't need to be fast .. 27 inch draw.. 65lbs.. 472 gr arrow... 242 fps .. and it's a hammer!
Great vid man! Any ideas on anything Mathews is doing new this year I’m assuming same riser and limbs stile just some new colors, and maybe some different ata sizes hopefully they make a 27 again if so I’m getting one for sure!
@@JakeBledsoe I hope they go for a new tuning and timing system like Darton. The Lift is already so popular that I believe the easy tunability would almost shut every other company down. For sizes, I’d love to see another 31. 34-35 would also be competitive in the current market. I think Elite hit the nail on the head with a 30 and 35, covering guys who want a compact bow and those desiring a longer, more stable platform. That said, I have heard 27 and 31 like the V3. Adding tunability and a 35 to that list would be devastating for the whole industry.
@@JakeBledsoe I have not been able to get my hands on a V3 27. I would definitely like to at some point and I think ultra compact bows are really cool but at 29.5” of draw, I max out the 27.
@ Absolutely! A 27 inch draw is perfect for that bow! I hope Mathews will circle back to the shorter bows at some point and also go over 33 on the hunting side.

I'm still rocking a 2011 Z7 Extreme 😂

Z7X is an awesome bow. I still love the older Mathews as well. I just hunted today with my Creed.
It will kill bro don’t have to get news bows all the time. Recurve bows never change they still get the job done to
