When you find out that the Tri-turbo setup is pushing a full size diesel pickup into consistently low 9’s, you find the owner and start asking questions. 140 PSI of boost is insane, as is the amount of work put into this truck! do you realize thats what its made to do?
Its not the same with a diesel. You cant lean them out . If he only has enough fuel for 100 psi he would still make the same hp as at 200psi of boost. Boost doesnt make power with a diesel like a Gas engine.

You dont understand how to tune a diesel . Youre thinking of diesels in terms of a gas engine the two are completely different. Diesels are lean burning engines look up that reference and understand the concept you will understand why fuel makes power , fuel = black smoke.

1800 ish HP and probably 2400 or so crazy number foot pounds of torque
probably closer to 3000...they generally make like Twice the torque they do hp
You try to keep the torque no greater than 2000ft/lb. Block's tend to cut loose any higher unless the coolant passages have been filled for strength. That is the iffy point.
2400 "earth rotating forces" of torque is more like it

You're pretty much on the money. If he's making 1800 at 4K he should be making about 2363 ft/lbs
Someone who lives next to me is building one of these it has 1000hp to the wheels and I swear I have never seen such a FAT burnout out of my whole life of drag racing it so far runs in the 8s😂

Thats because he has a good fuel/air mixture. Guys that are blowing smoke everywhere are literally dumping raw fuel into the motor.

+Zcypot without knowing any of this trucks specs besides the turbos, I would say it's in the 25k range for the build, mabey cheaper if he did any of the work.
nick stuart I find that hard to believe, the engine work alone to handle 140psi would be insane coupled with the internals. I would guess the turbos alone are excess of 15k.

That's a lot of work to put into something just for 9's...
But that hard work pays off probably one of the sickest diesel trucks in the world.
You have to remember it weighs 3 tons.
That thing weights 2 and a half metric tons. Moving that weight at that time is insane.

With that amount of boost are they welding the heads to the block?
I cannot imagine any head bolts or studs can hold that pressure, let alone push any water into the piston. Thoughts?

Dude 2 lil turbo hardly fit in the honda. the pipeline is taking spaces. and 140 psi ?? u serious ?? 70 psi then the car wont see the world in a week or even a day.
sure it can... ever one is sooo negative.. 3 turbos not a problem. reason for this, is you want them as big as you can get...that way it wont even make boost and the engine will live :) for a more serious note lol....no I don't think Honda has a strong enough block to take any where near that much boost. lol although that would be insane to pull up at a light and see/hear 3 turbos spooling up

it's not hard to find tires it has the correct size. the truck gets traction so well because it's heavier than a house.
