    It's so rare to find such good quality teaching on YT. Just at the right pace for beginners. Everything is clearly explained, even the shortcuts. I'd suspect that you teach for a living. Please do some blender videos :)
    Again, excellent stuff 10/10

    • @ArtistWright

      Thank you Charlene I appreciate it. I've never had any training in teaching, I started making these videos because back in the day there were no videos when I was learning Affinity Designer. So now I make the kind of videos I would have liked to see. The pace, the style. No waffle but easy to follow along. I made a donut in Blender once, a while back, its one hell of a tough program to learn in my opinion. Blender Guru has many tutorials though

    Thank you very much, I completely missed the isometric function. I needed this badly because I want to make a simple drawing representing a container and I am going to use it for my liftplans.

    • @ArtistWright
      @ArtistWright  5 місяців тому

      I use it on occasion too, I sometimes need to create diagrams of parts and how they fit together. This would totally work for a container

    Awesome 👌 👏 👍 love how you show several ways to do the same thing. This is how I get around software when one thing isn't working the way it should. Great training, I learned so much and that isometric grid is amazing. I don't remember ever seeing half these tools in Adobe illustrator. Glad I bought affinity designer

    We definitely need a true 3d perspective grid with vanishing points like in Illustrator

    When attempting to draw the three basic squares (with Shift key pressed) over the grid, the shapes are oriented by the grid pattern rather than the intended basic square shapes. How do you override the grid's attraction? I note that your isometric grid lies immediately behind you squares without that unwelcome influence. (I'm using veresion 2.4.2)

      Ah try unchecking 'edit in plane' in the isometric tab

    Hi, looking forward to start part 2. 1 question, how do you get the assets? I press view, studio, assets but get nothing, not even a choice to start a new list. Thanks

    • @ArtistWright
      @ArtistWright  3 роки тому +1

      Hi John thanks for watching! Your assets might be popping up in the area where the colour panel is.there are a bunches of tabs there. just check to see if it has a tick next to assets in view > studio first.
