Yellow belt instead of red belt with yellow clip in front of belt
Also the neck peace is not as wide as it is in the anima

I love the colors, I like the emblem itself and the emblem on the cape. I like that it has more of a design to it and it’s not just flax spandex but it looks baggy. Makes it more practical even if it does look a little different than what we expected. But overall it looks awesome.
There are pieces of the suit that work, but the front of the suit just has too much padding. It should’ve been a little more formfitting I like the cake and I do like him having a bit of a turtleneck, but all that extra padding is a bit much, maybe it’ll look better on screen, but in these shots, it doesn’t look so good to me.
Love the colors and the cape. The rest looks like a lump wetsuit imo.

Thats a massive maybe, Gunn did a great job on the Gaurdians movies, IMO, was hit and miss on his DC stuff so far, Peacemaker I liked, but now hes erasing season 1 for some weird reason, Suicide Squad was a miss, again, IMO, and even with him being in chargeish, DC is not known for putting out homeruns, so maybe if they stay outta the way, but thats a huge maybe..But, maybe everything he helps release will be great, and Marvel will contiue to have issues, but if Marvel figured out their issue and course corrects, will make it harder for DC to shine...
This last week has confirmed that the Snyder haters are just the comic book nerds who really never grew up, I've started to notice that if I think someone's immature I ask them who would they like better the Snyder verse or the Marvel films they'll say Marvel if I find the person to be a mature well justed adult they all seem to enjoy snyder's DC movies better

Suit still looks like garbage. I like the colors being bright but the jumpsuit look is probably the worst suit ever used on screen. The symbol looks ridiculous, always thought it look dumb. Keep the classic chest piece.

“Period, point blank, he FIRED Henry Cavill.” Cavill didn’t have a contract to return and Gunn’s Superman was in development before WB decided to reboot the DCEU or even consider bringing back Cavill. Gunn didn’t fire him. Dwayne Johnson screwed everything up for a bit and spineless WB execs entertained the idea of bringing him back officially after he allegedly went over their heads to have him in Black Adam, but by then it was too little too late.

Still not liking this suit. Looks very generic, less DC-like, and more Marvel-like. Even the biker suits from the first Fox X-Men movie looked better and we all look back on how terrible those were. However, I’ll still give the movie a chance and hope to be proven wrong. Right now, I have no expectations. The build up to this movie has been more disappointing and off putting than anything. We’ll just have to wait and see.

I like the suit, there are definitely elements I’m not a fan of like the lines and the collar but it’s fine. A perfect suit doesn’t make a great film, as we’ve seen in the past, so long as the film is good the suit can evolve and can be improved upon like they did in TASM 2. I feel like Superman is a hero where the campiness is needed, it will be divisive but I think in the long run will be better for the DCU overall

We haven't had a good wholesome Superman movie in forever. A lot of the outrage is coming from people who don't want Superman, but instead Homelander with an S on his chest.

I think y'all are just capping for DC lol and I get it they need a win but come on that suit is bulky in the chest area and in the midsection. They didn't even bother to add abs to the suit lol The CW Superman and Lois costume looks better than this. Perhaps they'll fix it all in post. But for me right now this is a fail and a bad omen for the movie coming out. If they skipping corners on the suit lol where else are they skipping corners? Also the full suit reveal was upstaged by Mr terrific. Superman should never be upstaged by a supporting character in his own movie. This shows how unremarkable this suit is.

For those complaining about the suit being baggy , I think it fits like that so David has room for flexibility and maybe CGI the extra material out.

Yea, certain actors were complaining about the suis being tight so the directors who made them wear slightly baggy suits for example black panther, Captain America and Spider-Man behind the scenes were a bit loose. After their movies were set they fixed it up with CGI

It's okay to change your mind, regardless what twitter tells you. I wasn't super thrilled with the first reveal, but was still digging it well enough. Now these set photos actually look pretty great! I think it's going to look fantastic on film. I'm just hoping for the boyscout in characterization. More traditional. I'm getting that vibe so far.

I like the colors. I'm not really a big fan of the trunks and it is too baggy. Henry Cavill would've fit in this costume just fine, but he'd probably play the new MCU Wolverine.
David is considerably larger than Henry. Henry was 6'1" and 203 lbs, David is 6'4" and over 220.
Cavill would be an awful Wolverine lol, and that's not an attack on his acting or on him. Also, most suits are baggy behind the scenes for the purpose of mobility and actor comfort. Post-production fixes imperfections like that all the time, look at MCU suits behind the scenes.
Cavill is smaller, so he definitely wouldn’t have.
The suit looks REAL good. Loved Mr Terrific as well. I've been all in with Gunns DC since the beginning despite all the hate. I think we're gonna get some awesome stuff! That picture of Mr Terrific and Superman looking at that statue from behind was so cool.
What has me hopeful for this movie is that James Gunn wants to bring back a hopeful Superman, I am frankly tired of the evil Superman trope and want Superman to be the embodiment of hope, the mantle of truth, justice and the AMERICAN way. I want Superman back again damnit.
If people genuinely don’t like this suit then they just don’t like Superman or they don’t understand Superman the way that they think they do. None of Snyder’s suits looked or felt like Superman in any way. Desaturated with an almost fish-like texture with clear fake muscles. This suit actually looks like a Superman suit from head to toe, and the lack of fake padded muscles allows us to fully see how big David truly got for the role. The whole suit looks right out of the comics and completely screams Superman in every way. Gunn understands comics and Superman better than all of the idiots who say he doesn’t.
The people complaining aren't Superman fans.

Looks like a CW show....... Mr.Terrific looks too young, skinny, not buff or face similar to the character. This superman being so skrawny is wack af. This is soo lackluster and boring to me. Too baggy of a suit and the tactical lines in the blue doesn't flow right . Id rather have a bulky muscle ripped Superman.
James Gunn did ok with Guardians of the Galaxy 1 and 2, but that's it. I won't watch a single DC Gunn-verse movie. He's a terrible person and a mid director at best. No thanks.
It's literally the same suit. To be fair, I never understood why there was a big fuss about the first image. The suit looked fine to me. I'm not a fan of the underwear on the outside but I can overlook that for the nostalgia factor. But, it just sounds like you didn't like the lighting of the first image. To judge a movie on the lighting of an image is silly to me. But, maybe I'm a weirdo. I think it's hilarious that the Gunn stans default response is oh you just don't know how much they do to superhero shoots in Post editing these days, go look at the BTS shots of Snyders superman aquaman and Batman, And tell me what they did imposed to make them look right because they looked right in the behind the scene shots

Sky blue Superman suit
In this story, Superman's suit does have a sort of looseness or bagginess to it. I think it looks great. If Gunn is doing straight up All Star Superman, and he includes what happens in episode 6, A Funeral in Smallville, and stays true to what happens in the comic, he could literally win an award. It's such a tear-jerker, every time you read it. I'm hopeful DC might possibly get things right, this time.

James never got rid of him it was WB. James was already developing, and writing superman before the shazam cameo.
2 things I really dont like about the new suit, the weird, not needed lines so many put on suits, games do it, tv shows do it, movies, just busy unnessary lines, 2 is the size of the symbol on the cape, just wish it was a little bigger, but still think it looks good either way....

Bro I’m sorry, but putting this suit in the same league as Jackman’s yellow is insane lol. I don’t hate this one, but that yellow suit is a perfect translation into live action. I think this is far from perfect, but it’ll be fine for now and probably change over the years
