God the suit is perfect in so many ways that it almost hurt the whole thing with the collar lol we were this close to a Christopher Reeve level of accuracy, but anyway, it's not like i hated it... I actually love that they even modified the collar to have a more V-shaped form, I like it a lot more now... And about Mister Terrific? They nailed it!!
The suit looks great. They took legacy from the title and put it in the suit. So many artists represented here. The nod to Kirk Allen with the hair is so awesome. To me it shows Gunn cares about the Legacy of Superman.

It even has some elements from the current animated series, My adventures with Superman and as I mentioned earlier, they styled his hair like Kirk Allen, the first actor to ever portray Superman on film in the original serials. I also find it cool that made Metropolis out of Cleveland, where Superman was created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster in 1934. Legacy through and through. We should be in for a treat✌🏾
The suit looks like trash, it’s one of the worst suits period. The only thing that works for me is the Superman symbol on the back of the cape. The rest of the suit well I already said it .

The suit overall is great, but it has problems. The suit is super baggy. I think it is like that for comfort and mobility for the actor. Hopefully, they CGI the suit to make it skin tight. I also wish the S was a little higher up and bigger on the upper chest. The side lining on the stomach area needs to be gone. The cape is immaculate and outstanding. I love the S on the back of the cape. The trunks works with the suit. The colors are comic book accurate. Other than that everything is great. Mr terrific, is perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing. Maybe cut the hair differently.

The thing that I noticed with the leaked photos he looks like the strongman from the circus that the Superman suit was originally based on so I appreciate that. I also like the vibrancy of the suit the blue is blue and the red is red. I want the comic book accurate costumes for the rest of the dcu.

Tyler Hoechlin’s and Rouths’ kingdom come outfit are far better than Gunn’s version. And they’re CW-low budget suits at best. Hope they use heavy CGI on the suit to improve it.

Yeah I don’t think the suit is gonna be wrinkled or flimsy anything like that. I can’t see a world in which anyone thinks a baggy suit will look ok. In everything ive seen, ive been blown away. Superman, Chefs Kiss. Mr Terrific, terrific, Lois, Stunning. It’s insane how comic accurate everyone is. I mean even Lois has her design from the comics. I am so excited for this film.

Amazing. Just great stuff. Also, there's no doubt in my mind that the suit will be touched up in post. The slight bagginess is there so David can have a full range of motion. It's so easy to patch that up in post along those lines on the suot so it fits the body snuggly. No doubt that's what they're doing.

For example-- the splotchy, darker aesthetic of the suit after sustaining damage makes the lines appear more pronounced. Whereas-- the standard, lighter aesthetic of the suit when in perfect condition creates far less of a contrast, ultimately making the lines less notceable.
Although aspects of the suit I don’t necessarily love I’m definitely a fan of how James is differentiating his version from Henry’s suit. I like Henry’s suit as well
As a person who grew up reading Superman comments and loving the reeves films (and I loved Brandon’s kinda) but this suit is the closest to perfect I have ever seen
I loved the Suit since the first reveal love the details and the armored look The thing with me though is even if something isn't exactly the take I'd go for it can still appreciate and enjoy it So for example I'm not a big fan of trunks they're kind of goofy and I'd prefer a subtle S on the cape maybe like a slightly lighter shade of red so it's just barely noticeable, but just because it's not my idea of what a perfect suit is doesn't make me not like it, I still love him embracing the comic books aesthetic and giving us something we've never had before If that makes sense
