I do not understand why Indian cooks think that they should give Italian recipes. Let the Italians do this in their authentic way and you do your Indian dishes.
Food isn't restricted to a particular ethnicity or anything. Even though their recipe might not match your desired Italian taste, learn to respect everyone. This is just their way of making a risotto.
