The most surprising part of the Enterprise E was the fact that shields actually worked. Mind blowing
I can see why Worf preferred it.
The Enterprise-E is the most beautiful Star Trek ship EVER... this sleek look, the shades of grey and tons of details in the hull... 2021 and still there's no match!
Most definitely
Lost in Space meets Star Gate !
Eh i don't know. It definitely is a more sleek and sensible design for a more combat oriented vessel than its predecessors, but also somehow less iconic.
Sorry I but respectfully disagree. Refit Enterprise/ Enterprise A is the best. E is a close second.
@@Kalentros Oh man, that's really tough. Anyone who has seen The Motion Picture, with the Enterprise in the drydock has an absolute passion for the Constitution-refit class... :)
It's a shame that we couldn't have gotten more Star Trek using the Enterprise E. Such a Beautiful Ship.
The later couple films were cancelled as there was too much star trek saturation at the time the producers felt there would be poor reception.
@@redwren4182 Also..Nemesis bombed..hard
The last time we see the enterprise E was in the prequel comic of the 2009 movie, star trek countdown
Stand by...we may yet
That's why I fly it in Star Trek Online, sometimes I just fly around while watching Star Trek lol
One of the most underrated Enterprises. I love the Sovereign-class design.
I don't think its underrated at all.
I would argue underused not underrated. Although given half the people don’t know it can separate like the Enterprise D with tones of other great never show features, I guess it could be underrated by some…
The best of both the Intrepid Class and the Galaxy Class.
She is my favorite, by far
Me too, it got a little bit less ugly
8:08 God, theres something about this rendition of the score that always gets to me
It's reflective, honoring, and passionate.
Its like the Enterprise flyby from the Original Motion Picture... except with all the fluff cut, and 95% less self fellating.
The next generation Movies always know how to write their music
If the Enterprise, any Enterprise, shows up in Picard, I’m expecting this score otherwise throwing tomatoes 🍅
@@jtonline99 literally praying it shows up in Picard series 3
My favorite model, the NCC-1701 E. A thing of beauty. Too bad they stopped making next gen shows and movies. I will miss this era and ship.
She's a beauty alright, perfectly combining tactical performance and comfort in one package. The crew quarters are still very comfortable and luxurious, not like those of a tactical vessel in general. The interior wasn't too militaristic like the Defiant or Intrepid classes. I say she was also the most balanced ship in Starfleet at the time.
So you like Voyager Design also or?, me liked the Federare Battle and War cruisers and i asked me for their reasons of design,...i am a fan of Borg " space cruise with spaceview cabins" also, Medical transport ships would be also nice to know, for humanitarian programs, like container hospitals by "Banana" choppers and School and media and supply container freight...and humanitarian to infrastructure reconsructure, where Marshallplan and Ordo ab Chaos hit each other in building up colonial infrastructures again, even if ended by change of Romulan Empire Senatation into Confederayion of the United Planets of the known Universe....
@@runarrikeborn7517
What?
Meh. It looks like Enterprise A and the Excelsior had a child.
Me 2 IT'S A 😭😭SHAME They Didn't do at least 2 more film's
She still looks amazing 20 years on. Ahead of her time 😎
Well technically she was of her time lol
I totally agree with you. The design still looks as fresh as when it first appeared in First Contact. Hard to believe it was 1996.
You know "shes" fake right?
E Hold Pfff, first the news is fake, then the spherical earth is fake, and now you’re telling me the enterprise is fake? Go wash your mouth...
Exactly what I wanted to write. 2020 and that ship is still a hottie 😍
Rn at scimitar battle: cmon give me that quantum volley. Boomboomboomboom!
Can we take a moment to appreciate the fact this ship took two direct hits from a Borg cube and shrugged it off?
It´s not a fact, it´s called poor writing. But you can appreciate the storyline nevertheless. It´s just not the realm of facts.
@@swapticsoundspoor writing of the fictional spaceship shrugging off fictional damage from the other fictional spaceship. Maybe just better shields from the "most advanced starship in the fleet".
@iprovedthem5527 Just to add to that point, the sovereign class was literally built with borg in mind.
@@swapticsounds the Sovereign class was specifically designed to combat the Borg and the Dominion and was specifically designed with what at the time was the most powerful shield system in any ship in Starfleet by a good measure, and the computer systems were constantly controlling the shield modulation. This wasn't bad writing, this was as intended. It specifically was purpose built after the Defiant Class was scrapped as a heavy cruiser answer to the Borg problem.
That warp out at 9:53 is a thing of beauty.
I love Nemesis. I don't care what anybody says. The combat sequences are just brilliant.
The combat sequences were great. It's the writing and story that sucked.
@@AlexandarHullRichter oh no our weapons are gone! how do we fight another disabled vessel?!
dont we have like...30 armed shuttlecraft with transporters too? or we just beam over out warpcore/antimatter from the core? or we could warp ram the captains yacht into the enemy vessel. isnt that the reason we showed the yacht earlier in the movie?
@@jpal0227 In my estimation a large number of Star Trek plots could have been avoided if a) they remembered they had shuttlecraft, and b) when they did remember, sent two.
@@AlexandarHullRichter This is where Star Trek has always had a downfall in quality - story writing. It focuses way too much on morale teachings - you could blame the writer or the editor of the final cut. Unfortunately these 2 positions aren't always aware of what the other is doing.
@@jpal0227 There is no "warp ramming" in Star Trek. The science behind warp speed (and the theories of how it could be done irl) is that it creates a warp bubble and it's the bubble that moves while the ship itself remains motionless within it. The ship has momentum only until the warp bubble is created and the ship briefly stops when that happens. It's why any time you see a ship drop out of warp it comes to a full stop (Romulan singularity cores work on a different principle). Star Trek works on similar principles to Star Wars (at least until The Last Jedi broke it) that gravitational fields disrupt FTL so there is a limit of how close you can get to a planetary body entering or while in warp (though unlike Star Wars we haven't seen warp inhibitor ships used to keep other ships from entering warp, but that may be partially because ships in warp bubbles may be much easier to track).
Man, the Enterprise-E had one heck of a rough start to her service life. Far rougher than the D did.
But she endured. And that's what she's all about. Diplomacy and exploration, with a big stick if need be. Beautiful to look at, yet tough as nails.
You think? The D hardly had a ping in her start
She wouldn't be put to the test until Insurrection, in service for 3 years by then.
she was built to take some serious punishment.
Imagine Picard taking this enterprise back to spacedock with the front end GONE. Starfleet Command reading his log like "so you decided to ram one of the most advanced ships in the fleet like it was a big log on castle doors."
Considering the fact that their shields were gone, weapons were offline... hell, all they basically had was SIF and engines, ramming was the best and only choice of action.
@@rcslyman8929 Just tell them that he got the idea for RAMMING SPEED from Worf that it was a Good Day to Die so they could prevent many other worlds from being destroyed by a Thalaron Radiation Weapon because they were out of other options ua-cam.com/video/ni8MURSwSZg/v-deo.html
I always thought it was wierd that janeway was the only one who had shuttles that could help the main ship! I mean the enterprise is supposed to have loads that could phaser the hell out of a disabled ship - the scimitar lost all its shuttles so it’s a missed advantage
@@rhuman8672 whit the tracking system of that two ships, using them in open battlefield would have been a waste of man and resources, the E and the scimitar would have destroyed them in time of minutes
He could always use Gul Dukat's reply to then-Cdr Sisko: "It seemed like a good idea at the time."
Nemesis was great for the fact that we got to see the Sovereign class flex it's muscles.
Nemesis would have been find if they didn't feel the need to make the Scimitar so OP. Choose ONE GIMMICK to make a ship formidable. Perfect cloak. Ok. Hella weapons. Ok. Giant radiation planet killer. Ok. BUT NOT ALL GODDAMN 3! That just makes it stupid.
They should have written the film in such a way that the Scimitar was so Formidable, it took the entire Fleet, the Enterprises was a part of, to take on the Scimitar.
flex it is muscles? its/it's
It's also funny because in German flex is a brand of an angle grinder. Thats literally the thing what the enterprise became to defeat the scimitar.
@@nevermindmyname9153 We would have seen the entire fleet if they weren't so stupid as to fly into the one region long-range communications don't work.
That running firefight between the Scimitar and E from 12:15 onwards is one of my all-time favourite Trek moments.
Yeah and not to mention the insane durability of the ship, I mean she slammed head first into another ship, something that would have normally damaged the hull pretty good, so yeah that ship is awesome!
Agreed! The only thing that annoys me is that when the Scimitar reversed the Enterprise would not have stayed still. There was nothing to keep it locked in space. It was jammed in there real good. It would have moved with the Scimitar. But that’s just the naughty, logical side 😡 intruding on the fun side of my brain 🥳.
@@KalaBrae Head cannon time. They used a low yield tractor beam and their inertial dampeners to keep the Enterprise in place, all are fields that aren't on the visual spectrum. There problem solved :D:D:D Nah I agree they should have shown a tractor beam pushing the Enterprise as they reversed. but hey still the best space fight to date in star trek, its 2024 now and still nothing has come close.
@@KalaBrae The enterprise massed 3.2 billion kilograms.
Accelerating backwards at just 0.1g would have been the equivalent of trying to pick up about 5 and a half Iowa class battleships. Do you really think a bit of jammed metal would hold up that much?
not to mention every projectile it fired was a torpedo
the E literally just tanked like 10 torpedos all at once and it’s shields were still deflecting them
This is my favorite looking Enterprise. It’s so sleek but also powerful looking.
It looks Egyptian to me

7:20 "He wouldn't..."
12:25 "Oh, I can absolutely assure you, he would."
Never noticed this before, but in the Nemesis fight with the Scimitar, the Enterprise is saving its quantum torpedoes (blue) for sure hits and using photon torpedoes (orange) for its probing attacks that follow phasers while trying to find the Scimitar. That's an interesting attention to detail.
I agree I observe the samething
That spacewalk scene though. Really hammers home just how huge some of these starships are supped to be.
Enterprise E, very classy lady.
The most beautiful ship/Enterprise yet. We needed one or two more movies with her to give TNG a proper send off.
8:06 I really LOVE this short scene, the looks and the music it's like the magnificence and beauty of the NCC 1701-E
Having grown up on classic Star Trek with Kirk, crew, and the Constitution Refit (1701 and 1701-A), the Sovereign 1701-E is truly a majestic ship, a worthy sucessor to the Enterprise name. When I look at her, I see her roots from the Constitution Refit line. The 1701-E has proven herself to proudly bear the name Enterprise. My favorite will always the 1701, 1701-A with the 1701-E next. If you study the definitions of the class names, 1701, 1701-A built a lasting legacy, and 1701-E established the supremacy of that legacy. Every enemy who has dared tangle with the Enterprise has learned the hard way that she will fight to the bitter end! Even the Scimitar with all its might couldn't bring the 1701-E down on its own.
I love how they made the Enterprise-E Sovereign-class starship, they look so amazing and looks a bit similar to the Excelsior-class
It dose have that style to it.
I think it’s designed by the same guy who did the excelsior class. Hence it looks similar.
Well, can you blame them? The Excelsior was friggin beautiful.
@@hmst2434 No, it wasn't. The Excelsior was designed by Bill George, Joan Eaves (who designed the E) only made the changed at the engineering section for the Enterprise B model.
I always felt its aerodynamic sleek shape was more similar to an Intrepid class ship.
Definitely the most elegant looking version of the Enterprise. And the models still look better than the fuzzy CGI.
To clarify: I know the scenes with models include CGI work, but I mean the 100% CGI. Also, that isn't to denigrate any other Star Trek or sci-fi series that uses 100% CGI. I was talking specifically about the CGI in Nemesis, which was made two decades ago when CGI wasn't what it is today.
Insurrection and Nemesis have Full CG Ships. No Models involved with one small exception in Nemesis.
haha most of these shots are CG
get fucked nerd
Stop judging cgi you don't make me movies, you don't know how long it takes to render 3d models, shut up.
@J C Sorry, I don't know what that means. Have a nice day :-)
@@HaloCollective Indeed. Even First Contact was CGI. It's amazing how very early CGI looked better than 2017 - 2020 CGI (Picard and Discovery where ships look and fly around like toys).
Just an absolute masterpiece. Most beautiful ship ever designed both in real life and in sci-ci.
The zero degree phaser arc firing is the single coolest thing I've ever seen a space ship do ever. Change my mind.
Also if Worf wasn't at tactical - you know more than half of those shots would have missed the Scimitar!
Haha so cool that it was only Data that got to be directly on scene, no space suit, in shot with the Enterprise E, giving his life to save her. What a legend of a character. RIP
exactly! he was my absolute favorite character in the whole universe. ... Data | Jean-Luc | Worf
also, that irony! that irony of his character and his development over the years in starfleet. Data, an android who never gets a joke and doesn't understand humor at all befor he got his emotion-chip, was the very one character, who let me laughed the most and the hardest in all star trek.
and here at the very end of an era, Data did the most human'ish thing possibly ever: he sacrificed his own life to save Capt. jean-Luc picard with the emergency transporter, his friends and the crew on board the enterprise and further more at the end also the entire federation!
I saw it in the theatra when it came out. and i denied to accepted, data the most incredible character in this whole franchaise died. i just refused to believe it and carried the hope on for years that they would do somehow another TNG movie and bring him back. it took me years to acept it that he was gone
Never underestimate the Enterprise. She's a fighter she is. Even if she has to go down, she's gonna go down swinging. Enterprise C proved that. She was fighting 3 Romulan Warbirds, and she held her own, even if it was a losing battle.
meanwhile in star trek online comparatively small science vessels taking on 6 warbirds at a time and winning
The enterprise: what is this feeling inside? Determination is that what I've been feeling all this time, I can feel it burning inside! A burning feeling that I can't describe, a burning feeling that won't let me Die!
Romulans: what the?
Enterprise: you're going to have to try a little harder than that!
That part when Picard and Data escape from the Scimitar and the Enterprise E takes off its amazing.
Looking at the Borg space battle never i mean never gets old. So many times even here i'll put it in slow mo and watch every detail.
My favorite part was the cube hitting the E twice, lighting up her shields, but not even phasing it. Nice early demonstration as to the Es toughness.
0:51
Can we give a shout out to the pilot of the Defiant? He literally dodged 4-5 borg tractor shots
That be Worf
The profile of the Defiant was designed to do exactly that
@@WhittyPics Actually it's adam scott
No. He was a pansy.
Tough little ship...
The Enterprise-E will always be my number 1 favorite starship on Star Trek!!!!
That last little musical Homage to Star Trek, the Motion Picture in Spacedock, was all it took to tell me this was the last movie of the TNG era
The Enterprise D is great but the E is stunning. Favourite Enterprise
12:20 I have counted 47+ torpedo hits on the Enterprise by this point in the battle. Wow. That's not counting phaser fire hits and that chunk of Romulan ship that bounced off it.
Ablative armor FTW. The Ent-D would have been destroyed after the romulan ship hit it. And it would have crumpled like a beer can trying to ram the Scimitar.
@@blppt Ablative plot armor, lol
NCC 1701-E --what a beautiful ship….my favorite of all the post-TOS versions of the Enterprise. She really got disrespected in season 3 of “Picard”!!!
Kurtzman if you’re listening, season 2 of Picard, Picard, Riker and Worf steal the Enterprise-E to go retrieve a newly regenerated cmdr Data.
Original plot, I promise 🤣
...He'd probably do that too, after all 'Into Darkness' was a rehash of 'Wrath of Khan' in a few areas. And besides, you promised!
Danny R I’m not complaining, love Data 😂
@@jtonline99 In regards to Data, me too. Spock and Data are my favourite Star Trek characters EVER!
@Jonsin 1459 but then the opening Enterprise-D thing was spectacular. Struggle to reconcile the two things. Perhaps they ran out of budget after the first episode? Either way, VFX team since 2009 sucks compared to what we used to have...

14:40: I love the musical reference to Star Trek the motion picture where Kirk boards the refittet enterprise with scotty. Beautiful scene in the first movie.
An absolutely stunning ship and definitely the most beautifully designed ever in my opinion! Looks and power. Such a formidable ship that could take on almost any vessel and either win or draw. Such a shame its not in any ST series. 😔
Thanks for the clip show. Enterprise E still is one of the most beautiful ship designs in Star Trek, right up there with the Enterprise from Star Trek The Motion Picture!
The enterprise D and E are honestly amazing iterations of the vessel. Since the Kelvin timeline version of the original enterprise is actually bigger than them both, I would LOVE to see what the Kevin versions of the enterprise D and E would look like.
Yea me too!!
D would be 1600 meters long. As big as a star destroyer. E would be 1900 meters long, and meaner than a death star. 🖖🏽
The Future Enterprise D (All Good Things ) is mine Favorit
Probably like the Vengeance.
Wait why is the Kelvin Enterprise larger than original?
Theres a quote on the novel Ship of the Line saying how the sovereign class looks like shes going at warp speed even when shes not moving and i agree, easily the most elegant star trek ship design
To be honest, some of the CGI-work from "Insurrection" and "Nemesis" still look good even though "Insurrection" in particular is pretty uneven.
But the Big-E has never looked as fine as she did in "First Contact". These beauty shots have aged like fine wine.
Practical effects are always going to look better but Nemesis sure looked better than Insurrection especially with lighting.
@@AussieArcade Really depends on what you mean by "look better." With practical models not only are you highly limited in the kinds of shots and effects you can make, but you're never going to be able to hide tool marks and DoF, especially in high definition. Most people can't distinguish all the CG and practical shots in First Contact, and this is 90's VFX we're talking about.
The enterprise e is The best ship ever
Agree
The Enterprise F from STO looks far nicer In my opinion.
Nothing beats the Constitution Refit.
I love myself the E. But man... The elegance of the D is unbeaten... Except for maybe the F. Gosh my comment sounds idiotic from the ears of a non-fan. 😂
@@LeandroLima81 Lol, not at all. If you take an interest, you're still a fan!
How come a starship designed from the 90s looks even better than the ships from recent sci-fi movies??
Thank you for this! The E is such a gorgeous ship from any angle. I never get tired of watching her.
Say what you will about Nemesis, the score and effects were sublime.
I know it sounds strange but when I look at the movie The First Contact in this way it looks like the movie is more like science fiction movies of the end of the seventies and early eighties. Very quiet, mysterious, and more real but still with a story.
11:32 always loving that scene. It's just so powerful....
I loved watching E-D but the E-E is something special, it’s designed to be a badass, it’s borderline the perfect ship.
This is my favorite Enterprise!
"This time there may be no stopping [the Borg]." Until the captain of the most powerful ship in the fleet (And really, how do you keep the E off the front lines? If you're THAT worried about Picard, temporarily relieve him of duty and put Will Riker, Borg Slayer, in field command. Again.) disobeys orders and fires a few well-placed quantum torpedoes.
With the position as Captain of the Enterprise comes a license to disob ... to creativly obey orders.
Oh the uss sovereign was fighting in the dominion war and another sovereign class(I think it's uss Yamato F) was in the dominion war too
They were probably worried if it got destroyed. That's a lot of materials. Even worse if the Borg adapt to the ship
Seems like Starfleet command was prone to frequent poor decisions, it was mostly the ship captains holding everything together
4:23--"Assimilate this!"
Nice one
The Briar Patch is still my favorite space background. So glad it featured in the ST: Armada games.
An absolutely gorgeous ship. Thanks for sharing this with us 😃
Enterprise-E is my favourite ship it was beautiful slick powerful and has that classic feel but somehow looked state of the art it was awsome
I am shocked that only 15 minutes of this ship exists. My favorite Enterprise of all time! I never realized Nemesis had the most time with her.
Man I don't know what it is about that scene where E.E unloads quantum torpedoes on the Scimitar and is subsequently chased down taking everything the Scimitar could throw at her. It may have been a bit of a dark and depressing movie, honestly probably in my bottom five of the Trek movies, but this scene is where we finally got to see what the new Enterprise was capable of regarding maneuverability, defensive advancements, and overall punchbag-ability.
It’s insane how much better the CG is in nemesis than in Incerection
I love the look of this ship. It made the Starfleet look like a real threat for any enemy!
lol...this ship and starfleets made me to consider how to build some interstellar stations and motherships in deep space, then we will have more ships, interstellar teammates, and friends on the other exoplanets. Perhaps, some of them would be the leaders of new space bases.
What a beautiful starship Enterprise and I like when Picard's crew defeat the Borg in Star Trek first contact.
The quantum torpedoes providing the kill shot for both the Borg cube and sphere…chef’s kiss!!
I know some people aren't into this ship, but I think she's absolutely glorious!
I remember as a child when first contact came out on vhs.. it was all I ever rented from blockbuster. My parents got really annoyed because back then if you rewound the tape it damaged the cassette. And all I ever did was watch the Borg battle.. it was well beyond it's time
Great for reference material, thanks for posting Freez'.
I don't know who you are but thank you!! This is quite possibly the greatest thing on UA-cam 😍
lol xD thanks ;)
I don’t care what anyone says this ship models will always look better than cgi
Tom Bethel in the reboot the ship looks great but i agree with the older movies
Agreed. That's why, in my opinion, the visuals from First Contact are far more impressive than Insurrection and Nemesis. That and not using ILM for the last two TNG movies.
8:07 tell me if you watched picard s03e08 and the Titan glory shot at the end of the episode reminded you of this
Never get tired of watching these movies
Whatever you thought of these movies … the Enterprise and Jerry’s amazing music were beautiful to behold.
I hear there was A LOT more to _Insurrection_ Originally. They had to Cut back the Story significantly because of the time restriction set by Paramount. So what we got was a Rushed version of the Original film.
The scene inside the collector at the finale was left unfinished. All of the blue on the huge set was supposed to have a star field added in. They decided to not add the effect for some reason. Insurrection had some kind of dodgy effects.
@@jamiebraswell5520 That's not true. They did use chroma key compositing for that scene, to extend the floor of the shaft so that it looked like a bottomless pit, and they used a green screen for that. The blue was an intentional choice, just a bad choice. Look at the rest of the set design on all of the Sona ships, they all have blue accent lighting behind greebly techno panels. I'm not saying the Sona collector doesn't look like a blue screen set with unfinished special effects, it's just actually a finished scene shot on a set that was very badly designed.
@Reunite The British Empire That's definitely what it looks like, it just doesn't explain the fact that they used a green mat for chroma keying the floor
@Reunite The British Empire That is just not at all how keying works unfortunately
@Reunite The British Empire en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chroma_key#Process read the parts on Process and Tolerances

For any who liked "Nemesis" I would suggest the book "My enemy , my ally" . Read it so long ago .... point is HOT Romulans AND they explain HOW the Enterprise got her name . Worth the time for any who still remember how a book works .
I would die for this!! What a brilliant and widen horizon phenomena:)
Excellent video.
Magnificent compilation of a magnificent starship. The E is as lethal as she is elegant.
My only disappointment is that she was on-screen for such a short amount of time over three movies.
For the people who keep asking why the Enterprise didn't just turn and simply destroy the two Son'a ships, here are the technical specifications of a Son'a battleship:
Son´a Battleship:
Length : 855 m
Width : 1,055 m
Height : 200 m
Decks : 50
Crew: 400
24 x Phaser banks
6 x Torpedo tubes
4 x Isolytic subspace weapon launcher
Warp Speed:
Normal Cruise : 8
Maximum Cruise : 9.4
Maximum Rated : 9.9 for 5 hours.
and for comparison the Enterprise
Length: 685.3 m
Width: 250.6 m
Height: 88.2 meters
Decks: 29
Crew: 885
16 x Phaser Arrays
10 x Torpedo Tubes
On this comparison I would say that even 1 Son'a battleship would be an equal opponent for the Enterprise and they are dealing with 2 of them here. In addition, the Enterprise is not 100% operational in this area of space due to the environment of the Briar Patch. She can't even go on full impulse without taking damage. The Son'a ships are equipped for this area of space and are 100% operational.
i wish i could go back in time when this movie came out, wonderfull years
Beautiful Sovereign class...My favorite with its quantum torpedoes. Powerful ship!
I have been madly in love with the Intrepid Class since the debut of Voyager, and would JUMP at the chance to own one irl if it were possible. But, I will admit, the Sovereign Class is a DAMN close second!
That warp at 9:53 is my all time fav, it just looks right.
The Sovereign Class is a work of art
I love that design so much. If there was ever a starship to mimic in the future. It would be the baseline.
The sovereign class ship is a thing of beauty! 😍
when they exit the time sphere is a great shot, very dynamic
This really does feel like the ultimate evolution of the enterprise.
So beautiful
Enterprise F (non cannon) is definitely pinnacle of enterprise designs. They really should use it in the official shows like Star Trek: Picard.
Amazing. 0 Dislikes. Maybe there is hope after all.
Thanks for the video!
The physical model they used for first contact was epic compared to the CGI model.
Vastly superior in getting a sense of scale.
One thing CGI is exclusively excellent for: Zero-G debris.
Simply can't be done practically.
In these scenes it's what gives them such a real feel.
The Enterprise E really was the peak of Star Trek. Nothing’s come close since.
Das allerbeste und einmalig schönste Schiff des gesamten Star Trek Universums. 💪💪💪🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Defiant is such a cool little destroyer. And the Akira class are awesome. Wish they had more screen time
Cheers to Industrial Light & Magic! The best special effects in the world come from that bunch!

🖖😎👍Very cool and the Enterprise-E is truly the most beautiful looking starship of them all with all of Her sleek looking lines and design and Her fabulous color scheme and spectacular details incorporated into Her hull indeed!👌.
It's a shame they didn't make a series based on the Enterprise-E. I would have loved to see that.

シミターとのバトルは今見ても新鮮だ!
It still looks fresh scene that enterprise E fights against schimitar.
That's the thing that always got me about the Enterprise, ALL versions. It's supposed to be Starfleet's flagship, it's most powerful, and it seems to get it's butt kicked on a regular basis.
That's what makes for a good plot. A protagonist overcoming overwhelming odds to win the day. It's pretty much basic movie science.
12:24 starts the most wrenching scene I've ever seen with the -E: when it rams the _Scimitar_ .
