I forget the specifics on this video but either forgot to record or though I was recording when I wasn’t, only realizing that once the screen was off. The alternative was not uploading the video at all. I figured it would be better to upload the video as there are plenty of videos showing how to remove an iPad screen and not many showing this specific repair
Thank you. I'm gonna try this. Hope it will work as my power button for ipad2 got jammed and I stopped using since 8 years ago. I need to use heat to separate the lcd screen from the bottom part, correct? Should it be hot enough or just average heat will do? Would it damage the iPad in any way?
Should be hot enough to hold but if it was hotter you wouldn’t want to hold it for long
I have my heat mat set to 70°C and it doesn’t damage the last

I have a question regarding to the battery, my battery started to overheat and it started to bend my ipad mini. Any suggestions on what i can do about it ?
Pull off the screen and replace the battery. That’s about all you can do

I took the screen off and put it back on but now it wont turn on??? Please help
Does it have any signs of life. Does it make sounds or a chime if you plug into power. Theres a possibility you damaged the backlight if you didn’t disconnect the battery

@NineteenSpy iPads don’t have any kind of water resistance, not even from the factory

i used to like apple because it felt sturdy back in 2014-18 era lately most of their products feel so incredibly flimsy
Apples main goal the past few iPads had been to make them thinner and thinner. Obviously the downside of that is they are a bit flimsier. But im included to believe that anyone would run into that issue at some point the thinner you make your device
My niece dropped her 5th generation iPad tablet on the corner and the volume and power button won't work now

The back is the housing. The screen comes off the housing and everything else sits inside of the housing so it’s not like you take the back off. It’s more like you take stuff out of the housing
