Yes, you still need to pay for an ISP, but I am with Xfinity at only $80 a month for just Internet. so the $6.99 plus $80 is a great deal. I was paying over $150 a month with cable tv plus the Internet.
Assuming one is paying, I would just get a subscription for 4 or 5 months out of the year and just let it expire for the other months. They just don't have enough content.

I got the same deal with LG TV and I'm watching movie Greyhound starring Tom Hanks now it's a good movie also a couple other shows I like like the foundation
We had Apple TV+ right when it first released for a year free and between all of us in our house probably not only watched it the least but I would say we couldn't even get through one of their shows before getting bored or disinterested. There's a couple shows coming this fall and I'll try them for one or two months and binge but that's it. You'd think for a trillion dollar corporation they'd have an obscene amount of content but they don't.
They started very slow, but I could say the same about some of the other bigger services. I don't think 2020 helped matters because there were delays in filming. I made this video at this time because I think they now have a lot more to explore and several hits.

For All Mankind is not about Russians, it’s about a different take on the American astronaut program IF the Russians had landed on the moon first.
All the thumbnails for their shows have a bland color pallet for the most part which i think turns a lot of people off but severance is really fucking good. First episode establishes the premise while leaving a lot unanswered to find out later in other episodes. It’s nice that it doesn’t take a whole season to give the premise

$4.99/month is for Apple TV PLUS. It's the service I describe in the video that has original content. You access this service through Apple TV, which is an app that also has pay-per-view type content from other providers. You can navigate to the Apple TV PLUS page (shown in my video) to see the stuff that is part of the $4.99/month subscription. Hope this helps
I'm having trouble signing up to apple tv plus, iv set up my apple account I but in my email address my password then it send me a code I enter the code and then it brings me to a page with 2 boxes to fill in with no information what to fill them in with iv there'd my email and account no iv tried the code I see on my TV noting works. I am not happy as a Window and Android user I purchased an Apple gift card at my local store. On the back of the card there is a logo of Apple tv. I decided to purchase the card to watch Apple tv + as I heard good things about it. To redeem the card I had to D/L I tunes apparently that's the only way for some one with out a Apple device to do it. When I went to subscribe even though I have €15 in my account they still need my credit card. I have Netflix and Disney+ and Paramount + that I pay with google gift cards or with gift cards as prefer not to have my credit card info online. What a difficult company to deal with when you are not in the apple walled garden.
You mentioned "Up Next," but even though I click that for certain movies, I can't find anywhere to locate the "Up Next" list. Is that only available if I have an appletv device?

Yeah. Apple TV+ is part of the Apple TV app. This video I made is about only the Apple TV+ original content -- which has its own section on the app. You're correct -- much of the other stuff you have to pay for. I would pass on that.
Exactly my point. The app offers a wide variety of shows but when it comes to streaming content that caught my eye; specifically the sports coverage and awesome library of movies, I found myself disappointed when I clicked on the show or sport event and a tab indicated that I’d have to download another app to stream the video on top of still having to pay. Plus, with all this pay per view setup despite being a new iPhone 11 owner, I didn’t hesitate to immediately cancel my free 3 month subscription within less than 24 hours. I’d recommend this app only if all the content was a 1 time buy and had an extended view time frame.

Apple TV plus is horrible. Almost everything costs extra to watch. Movies, tv shows, etc all are for rental or purchase in addition to the monthly charge. It’s nothing like Netflix .

Worst platform and the originals are are the most plodding shows imaginable. The storylines are so razor thin it's hard to believe you could keep getting the crap made. Just got thru with Severance first season. Man! It's just 8 episodes Stiller. Could you have more than one story arc moving at the same time bud? Apple tries to milk the most from a singular good idea at writers meeting. All their drama and suspense series are like Lost without any of the relationships or back stories. Foundation and Ted Lasso have been the exceptions. Maybe they could get the directors of those to have a team meeting. But 80% of the rest of their programming is horrifically slow.

Apple won't give me this promotion because I didn't get my new mac from Best Buy. Screw Apple, the cheap pricks. I'll never subscribe to TV+ after they wasted four hours of my life, then said "no." After suffering through horrible interface, freezing screens, returning to an episode or movie and starting from the beginning(no memory of leaving off point), no Android or Windows app....So when the price went up 33% to start 2024, it was an easy choice to cancel. I was once an Apple fan, but their products are overpriced and service underperformed. The arrogance to not develop an Apple TV+ app for Android and Windows is sad. This is the tech company with the highest capital on the world, yet they can't develop an app for their streaming service? Silly. They should just leave the market.

The list of languages the library has is amazing!!! I’m learning Spanish so I can listen and read any film.

Correct. The Plus service is housed within the Apple TV app. It’s preinstalled on my MacBook Pro.

Apple is a company that always focuses on quality over quantity. Apple TV+ is catered to a niche market instead of the mass market.

You don't need an Apple TV device -- just Apple TV+ subscription.

Yes you can. If you're in the Apple TV app, go to an Apple TV+ show and then you should see the episodes beneath the banner with the featured episode

Apple TV Plus is only originals but many shows and services are available for purchase from the Apple TV app.

@@meebrbey assuming not a joke I guess some individuals can only afford to subscribe to one service but brief description of original content on Apple TV in video certainly didn’t feel inspiring this side of pond. Guess I been spoilt by high production values on BBC for decades and sky movies in hd/4K on satellite box. Although streaming tv does interest me a lot just wanted to know before I commit what it would feel like . I love apple mobile devices and apple interface best ever but apple content looks cheesy almost comical. Uncertain who their market is. Although I read that Apple TV Apple TV plus box let’s you use your apple devices to mirror content on to tv etc maybe worth getting box simply for that experience

total shill job for Apple i currently have the service and think it horrible from a user standpoint, it doesnt go full screen on my laptop and just isnt as easy as all the other streaming services.Its cheap ill give it that

Just got thru with Severance first season. Man! It's just 8 episodes Stiller. Could you have more than one story arc moving at the same time bud?
Apple tries to milk the most from a singular good idea at writers meeting. All their drama and suspense series are like Lost without any of the relationships or back stories.
Foundation and Ted Lasso have been the exceptions.
Maybe they could get the directors of those to have a team meeting. But 80% of the rest of their programming is horrifically slow.
What your not telling everyone is is is !!!! It’s a F’ing ripoff you “ONLY” get original programming with it!! Everything else you have to pay for so basically you get Jack and 💩!! It’s not worth the money yes you can argue that it’s only five dollars but you can get peacock without commercials for $5 if you’re a Xfinity subscriber and Peacock has tons of programming you can get Disney+ for $6.99 and Amazon prime ain’t much more than that and that includes prime shipping so no I will pass on Apple TV+ because there is more con than pro!

Apple won't give me this promotion because I didn't get my new mac from Best Buy. Screw Apple, the cheap pricks. I'll never subscribe to TV+ after they wasted four hours of my life, then said "no." They lost a customer for life. I can't wait until I can run Linux on this M1 system. Then I'll say goodbye Apple and never buy another Apple product again.
After suffering through horrible interface, freezing screens, returning to an episode or movie and starting from the beginning(no memory of leaving off point), no Android or Windows app....So when the price went up 33% to start 2024, it was an easy choice to cancel. I was once an Apple fan, but their products are overpriced and service underperformed. The arrogance to not develop an Apple TV+ app for Android and Windows is sad. This is the tech company with the highest capital on the world, yet they can't develop an app for their streaming service? Silly. They should just leave the market.
