I signed up for Paramount Plus 4 year I figured with all the Nickelodeon content it will be worth it plus they have MTV bet Comedy Central and the Smithsonian Channel 4 content there are no regrets plus a new Rugrats cartoon is coming out that makes me happy
I was planning on signed up for it once the new Star Trek seasons debuted. But, now they have the rights to Serie A, UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Asian World cup qualifiers, CONCACAF WCQ (except US/Mex home matches), as well as several other soccer competitions. So, I am planning on signed up before Sept 1.
I have Paramount + and it is great. I like to watch the Star Trek movies in succession, on occasion, and this makes that easier than ever. I also watched all of the Indiana Jones movies this past summer. If I miss an episode of a favorite CBS show, I can use this app to catch up.
I got the year sub for $30. I feel it's worth at least that for Twilight Zone and Star Trek Discovery let alone the movies coming down the road. I'll probably off and on with it after that depending on what shows are on at the time.
It’s good for certain shows. But they need to add a video quality option and remove all ads from their “ad-free” subscription! On pc it’s seems like hd content is just maxing out at 720p instead 1080p.
My only issue with Paramount+ is that it’s slow compared to other streaming apps. You’re on a lag just scrolling through the titles. Something that does not happen with Netflix, Hulu or any other apps I use.
I added Paramount Plus mostly for Inside The NFL and also thinking I could get the 4th season of Yellowstone as the first 3 seasons are on Peacock. Unfortunately it seems that Season 4 is on the Paramount that I cannot get here but not available on either Paramount Plus or Peacock.
Great review much appreciated..I already have CBS ALL-ACCESS for daytime soaps and some of their reality shows and original programs, news and sports .After watching your review will probably continue to watch and enjoy Paramount TV thanks , stay safe
I signed up for a year of the "no ad" service (with 50 % discount), but should've looked closer. MANY CBS shows aren't there. "Big Bang Theory" was a VERY popular show, zero episodes. The new "Young Sheldon" sitcom ONLY has the current year (season 4) available. WHY?? There are SO many missing classic TV shows from the CBS past that are likely even in public domain! I'll keep it for the year, will re-evaluate then.
@aztecjohn Riv I have Netflix, now Paramount+. I'm NOT gonna drain my bank account for a whole bunch of streaming services. I was foolish enough to believe that "CBS All Access" actually MEANT that! I'll give them a fair shot, though.
i got the annual plan for $30 a few days ago. i got it mainly for star trek shows and to binge some of the nickelodeon animated series. my wife and kids will make use of it too.
The shows won't even stream on my Samsung Smart tv. Their technicians have been working on their app for me for about 3 weeks. Can't even run shows on my iMac without numerous freezes in the streaming. Never could stream 1883 video all way through when I tried it on my iMac!
so it's been 2 years since you posted this video...what do ya think now about paramount +?? I just have a laptop computer and want to watch NFL games each week, do not have cable television...I have high-speed internet...should I try the 7 day trial??
I had CBS All Access here in Canada about a month or so ago and it wasn't good at all. When I heard they are using the same engine. I don't think i'll be getting it anytime soon. When I had it .. it was horribly broken and didn't work right half the time and sometimes stuff would go missing from it for a day or so then come back later. Some of the shows I could load up without being all messed up at times too. If they become more like Netflix or Disney Plus in quality and don't give all their good shows to other sites and not have them on the site I might consider it. Anything Star Trek or Stephen King was not on there.

As of now we watch on the computer and lap top. Seems to be OK. Mainly wanted to watch the 1883 series and Mayor of Kingstown. We've decided to purchase the google chrome cast device. Your video was helpful
Paramount + won't work on my Samsung TV. I'm heartbroken because I really liked the free previews of 1883 & The Mayor of Kingstown that were shown on Paramount network. I signed up for 1 year free Paramount + , but content won't load & it just says "something went wrong. Try again later." From what I've read online, this is a known problem with Samsung brand TVs & Paramount +.
Carol, can you get a cheap streaming device to hook up to your TV? Might be worth it for those shows. Roku Express 4K+ is a good one -- goes on sale frequently.
I think it's worth it. Especially with the 50% discount. They will have every episode of Hey Arnold and Reno 911. I think they will keep true to their word of mountain of entertainment.
I wasn't interested until I saw they will make streaming series from their old movies like Grease, Flashdance, The Italian Job, The Godfather, Fatal Attraction etc. That's a great idea and all the streaming services should be doing the same thing with their old IP. I would not mind paying for the $4.99 ad-supported version for all that + Avatar.
I think it is. It has all my favorite Nickelodeon shows: SpongeBob SquarePants, The Fairly Oddparents, Rugrats, Jimmy Neutron, My Life as a Teenage Robot, Danny Phantom, Dora the Explorer, ChalkZone, Drake and Josh, iCarly, Zoey 101, Sam & Cat, Henry Danger, Kenan & Kel, The Thundermans and Game Shakers. Sure, it doesn’t have the entire Nickelodeon Movies library, but at least it has a few of them. I love the reboots of Rugrats, iCarly and The Fairly Oddparents. Beavis and Butt-Head Do The Universe was a great movie. I love that it has the original South Park movie Bigger, Longer & Uncut, it’s way better than those Post Covid and Streaming Wars specials. And in conclusion: I was excited to find out that it has the original Bob the Builder, but disappointed to find out that it’s the original British version and not the US dubbed version
Why can't I log into my CBS All Access Account?! Are they going to continue charging my CC when they have basically cut me off my account? Poor planning, either way! I just pepaid for 6 months of Netflix & also have Hulu on Demand with No ads... wish Paramount+ had a discount for the no ads version if you prepay for 6 months - a year....
@BlackWorm idk about that. They are still number 1 and they have their own original shows, movies, content just like all the other streamers and they put out content consistently unlike those other streamers.
@BlackWorm dude, your personal preferences doeant reflects everybody else's. I dont even like Netflix but I can say they are a lot better than that puny peacock has. And they barely have new stuff available. Just stop talking out of your ass. Clearly you havent used Netflix or hulu in a long time.
@aztecjohn Riv dude cobra kai is not even an original Netflix show. It was UA-cam original show and Netflix acquired the rights. Just shut up. The fact is Netflix, amazon, hulu, hbomax, Paramount+, Disney will be in the top 6 streaming service for the next 5-10 years despite your personal opinions on what streamer is best. All those little streamers ain't gonna compete with those top 6 despite blackworms irrational hate on Netflix, hulu and Disney.
They know what audience to target. Everyone else targeting millennials, but if u target parents, u get both demographics at once. Also, grown up children might even do research and get it for their parents.
So if Paramount+ is offering your local CBS channel as part of the stream, will they pull access away from being on UA-cam TV? It seems like we've gone from cutting the cord, to just get Netflix and you're all set, to now every picture studio is taking back their own content and moving into their own host app. Is it going to become a nightmare of having to literally pay for every network? NBC already did this with Peacock. Now Discovery channel just pulled back all their content into their own app. Still asking myself if I'm even saving money anymore from cable provider.
No UA-cam TV will continue to offer CBS. CBS All Access (which becomes Paramount Plus) has been offering the live feed for years. I'm not sure about on-demand content from ViacomCBS networks disappearing from other platforms, but the live channels will remain where they are now.
I signed up purely to watch Acapulco shore and geordie shore (MTV LA and UK) and they are no where to mf be found including with my vpn. How in the feq do I get this to work?
No -- so the base plan is $5.99 until June when it becomes $4.99. What you're signing up for now is like the old CBS All Access Limited Commercials plan. In June, the $5.99 plan is phased out and the $4.99 one replaces it. You can keep the $5.99 plan if you prefer it (it will have a live feed of your local CBS and the $4.99 plan won't.) Sorry it's confusing -- they should have just launched with the new plans.
@@MichaelSaves That helps explain it, thank you! While I'm typing anyway, I'll add that I think your videos are fantastic! I have a (hopefully growing) YT channel on the subject of Cordcutting as well and I've often found myself wanting to make a video on a subject; until I find yours and decide there's no point since I'd never compete! I'm not sure if that means I like you or hate you, but had to mention it. Be well!
Big Brother Live Feeds also included. Hardcore fans pay $6 monthly for 3 months every summer and cancel. That's $18, take the ads version annual with 50% off, throw in the additional Rakuten savings and for an additional $7.50 you have 12 full months. Just have to skip eating lunch 1 day for for the extra 9 months. No brainer.
I like It , as I have tried the trial. I have noticed that there are a lot of Cbs shows, but some networks there are just a sampling of shows , such as Mtv I see shows that are not up to date and also Smithsonian there are a few I've seen on tv that there were 2 seasons, and just one on Paramount. I don't think I'll keep It unless this changes.
We only get the $10 / $90 for a year tier here in Australia and it's great value. We get several live soccer tournaments as well. I love it and would not cancel this or Amazon as they represent the best value in streaming
@@ljwile9729 the on between hasn't been released in Australia yet and yes I know there are ways around that but I've got too much TV to watch now. Yellowstone is an exclusive to Stan (a streaming service run by the commercial "9" TV network in Australia). Haven't seen it yet either
I am fron Latin America, and I would like to know if the American prices are going to be the same of Latin America. Second, I am so glad that they are going to release the new platform the same day in the US, Canada and Latin America. Well, best regards, thank you 4 the information.
I'm currently using cbs all access because it has most Nickelodeon shows that I grew up with and it will have future projects plus I can see the Champions League games there as well! Hopefully they add more movies when it officially becomes Paramount plus on March! Thanks for the detailed video :)
Paramount+ $5.99 with Ads will be around until June where it be $4.99 with Ads and you will lose your Local CBS Channel and The $9.99 without Ads and are they going the Peacock Route where you get some on $4.99 and unless you pay $5 More for it!
I signed up for 50% off for a year with ads but they charge me 15% off full price tried to call them but couldn't wait on the phone long enough I'll try again hopefully they can straighten this out
Could you comment on the price of Paramount plus by itself versus as part of UA-cam TV because I can't figure out how much it will be if I add it to UA-cam TV that I already have and I accidentally hit the subscribe button thinking it would tell me the dollar amount but it didn't so then I had to hit unsubscribe so I hope I won't be billed.
Are Japanese dub tracks available, well yet? Disney+ in the United States appears to be getting Japanese dub tracks for their movies. I would love to watch Rugrats in Japanese.
No -- but great question. Past seasons are on Peacock because of a deal that was made. I'm not sure if Season 4 has shown up on Peacock yet, but it's coming if it hasn't.
So the question is. If you paid for CBS ALL ACCESS year subscription do you get a rebate on the lower cost being offered or are you able to cancel and resign up for the lower cost?
If you paid for a year, you will get whatever you paid for -- for 12 months. You can't get a refund if you paid a year in advance. Also, the new plan doesn't launch until June and won't offer a live CBS feed -- which the current plan does.
I would like to try Paramount+ but I won't. I had to end my CBS Online because I could not stream the shows. When I first subscribed I had no problems, but, they changed something and the shows no longer streamed. I had/have no issues streaming with Hulu, Netflix, Disney+, and Discovery+. I hope that Paramount + can correct this problem. Until then, not interested.
Its super laggy and some shows wont lets you rewatch episodes its horrible it does have good shows and movies they just really need to optimize their site and fix all the bugs

I signed up for the CBS All Access annual plan before the switch. It carries over to Paramount Plus!
I just pepaid for 6 months of Netflix & also have Hulu on Demand with No ads...
wish Paramount+ had a discount for the no ads version if you prepay for 6 months - a year....
Check the offer on ParamountPlus.com. Sign up for CBS All Access (before the switch) on an annual plan and get 50% off. Commercial free is an option.
This might be something my father would like.
@@MichaelSaves But will they be pulling their content off of Netflix or Hulu?
@@myothercarisadelorean8957 I don’t know. It’s something I’ll be watching
Is there Dolby Vision available?
Hopefully it's an option to add on UA-cam TV
Coming soon.... Macdonalds+ all original 0.5 series start streaming on 5th of october
Hi great info thanks,is The Love Boat on Paramount Plus in Australia.
I signed up purely to watch Acapulco shore and geordie shore (MTV LA and UK) and they are no where to mf be found including with my vpn. How in the feq do I get this to work?
How do we get the annual subscription discount?
@@Chase4everChase thank you!
The Paramount+ Website says plans start at $5.99/month. Did they change their minds since you made this video or am not in the right place?
Be well!
@@CordCuttersLI I will check out your channel. Just keep publishing content and helping people. Your videos will find an audience
I signed up thru roku, how do i watch thru my ipad app too.
You should be able to use the same username and PW
What would happen the with Appletv bundle? It was cbs all access+ showtime. Will it now be Showtime+Paramount+ for $9.99?
Just dropping Dish and trying to figure if this is worth getting.
As a current monthly subscriber will I be able to use the 50 percent off to upgrade to annual no commercials?
I don't think so -- you could maybe try with a different email address?
When does it come out
March 4 is when it switches from CBS All Access to Paramount Plus
Big Brother Live Feeds also included. Hardcore fans pay $6 monthly for 3 months every summer and cancel. That's $18, take the ads version annual with 50% off, throw in the additional Rakuten savings and for an additional $7.50 you have 12 full months. Just have to skip eating lunch 1 day for for the extra 9 months. No brainer.
What is the rakuten savings?
I want to upgrade but I have to find out how I can do it.
I signed up but do not know how to access HULU
I am fron Latin America, and I would like to know if the American prices are going to be the same of Latin America. Second, I am so glad that they are going to release the new platform the same day in the US, Canada and Latin America. Well, best regards, thank you 4 the information.
The shows aren't up to date... How can you catch up on your favorite shows if 2021 seasons aren't available!?
Some shows (especially CBS network) they have current season episodes and others they appear to be waiting until the season ends to add them.
How much ads do you get with adds like per minutes
7:51 In the Latinamerican version we have no live CBS nor Star Trek.
If I get it, it will be for Star Trek, but I'm too frugal. Yesterday I caught myself contemplating if a free game was worth it..
There's one other group, parents with kids, especially those who can't live without Paw Patrol, Peppa Pig, or Spongebob.
Yes good one! ViacomCBS does a nice job with kids content w/ Nick
I'm currently using cbs all access because it has most Nickelodeon shows that I grew up with and it will have future projects plus I can see the Champions League games there as well! Hopefully they add more movies when it officially becomes Paramount plus on March! Thanks for the detailed video :)
Does it have all episodes of drake and josh
It’s cool but I wish it would let me watch 1883 and not keep showing an error code anytime I try to play it
Will Paramount+ be free if I already have the Paramount Channel, with my cable provider?
Paramount Plus is separate from cable
Paramount+ $5.99 with Ads will be around until June where it be $4.99 with Ads and you will lose your Local CBS Channel and The $9.99 without Ads and are they going the Peacock Route where you get some on $4.99 and unless you pay $5 More for it!
Yes similar to Peacock. But if you sign up for the 5.99 plan now you’re grandfathered in.
If you got the year with ads do you still lose your CBS local in June?
I signed up for 50% off for a year with ads but they charge me 15% off full price
tried to call them but couldn't wait on the phone long enough
I'll try again hopefully they can straighten this out
You had to enter the promo code on the right hand side. I also forgot and only saw the 15 percent off on the main screen.
The fact that it's affiliated with CBS is a deal killer for me.
They Don’t offer the Service to Puerto Rico 🇵🇷. Even though they say they are in the USA and territories.
Two questions. Are they releasing Top Gun 2 and have access to the Smithsonian content.
Are Japanese dub tracks available, well yet?
Disney+ in the United States appears to be getting Japanese dub tracks for their movies.
I would love to watch Rugrats in Japanese.
Do they gonna remove star trek discovery from netflix?
Can you stream Yellowstone episodes through Paramount plus like season one to current ?
No -- but great question. Past seasons are on Peacock because of a deal that was made. I'm not sure if Season 4 has shown up on Peacock yet, but it's coming if it hasn't.
@@MichaelSaves That was a fast response and Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.
Do UA-cam TV subscribers get access to Paramount+ by logging in with TV provider credentials?
Not full access, including the library. But if it's like CBS All Access, you may get limited access.
Can anyone tell me if you get the cmt on demand stuff on this?
Extremely limited CMT content. I'm only seeing Crossroads and Party Down South
Its super laggy and some shows wont lets you rewatch episodes its horrible it does have good shows and movies they just really need to optimize their site and fix all the bugs
Does it show NBA live games?
