Bosch 12v is good quality stuff. Strange that it isn't brushless. A lot of the 12v line comes out 1st in Europe and then we finally get it. Good job Rob as usual😀👏
Great video. I've read good reviews of the tool and bad reviews of the "case". Looks like the Brits get a better deal than the US; For £169 ($225) you can buy this kit with an L-Boxx and a belt holster.
Bosch USA seems to be allergic to kitting things with L-Boxx's. I've got 3 of the Bosch soft cases, laying around somewhere or other. Never been a fan of soft bags for tools.
Thats an easy fix for them Im sure. A lot of guysI know the do cabinet installs don't want sharp edges, clips, etc.... their goal is to avoid scratching finished cabinets during install
That offset looks handy for putting up blinds or other tight space circumstances. I would buy one just for small home instances. Keep it in the house for the wife when she's just fed up waiting for me to put something up.
Has Bosch improved the key-less chuck? My current 12v Bosch loosens up and lets go of 1/4 bit holder when used in reverse as a driver or more accurately a screw remover after a few short trigger pulls. It seems some brands are using a ratcheting chuck that holds better. Thanks for the review I would like to keep with the Bosch and I love the new FlexClick idea.
Tioga Fretworks I've got the 12 volt brushless Bosch driver, looks very similar but without the attachments. I used it last summer assembling nest boxes for an egg farm, used all day every day for a month, driving several thousand screws. I've driven hundreds of deck screws with it also, it still looks and feels brand new.
Hi Rob just inquireing would you recommend this or the festool cxs kit. just looking for something light duty for cabinets etc. Love your channel by the way. Kind regards William
william condon I think the biggest advantage of the Festool is the electronic clutch, much more accurate repeatedly than a mechanical clutch. Downside is the centrotech bits, but I've gotten pretty good at 'centroteching' standard bits with a drill and angle grinder.
I think the Festool driver is superior, but that said Bosch gives you almost the same functionality for way less money. If you are invested in either platform - that would most likely sway my decision.
Not brushless. Why Bosch, why?? Were it brushless, it would be high on my wishlist, just for the offset and right angle functionality. The drill and normal driver aspects I've already got covered.
I bought one soon after seeing it demo'd at Lowe's. I love it!
Sounds like a great add tomy Veto Tech open top tote ! I’ m already on the Bosch 12 volt system on account of their little jig saw .
Looks like a handy tool for all of those hard to reach places.
Extremely!

Definitely true about the collar. A belt hook would be nice too.

The new brushless version has one.

Perfect for light fastening and installs
I'm a fellow reviewer (for a website). Bosch told us that review content is not supposed to be released until product launch date (the 17th).
yep, I messed up the date - thanks for the call out Steve
Looks like a Festool TSX, except it has the chucks the larger C18 has. With one plus -- all the chucks can be attached to the right angle adapter.
Looks nice. I would probably get one or something similar eventually.

Seems fine - time in the field always tells more
Nice info thanks! Do you think the impact has enough torque to work as an impact wrench and remove lug nuts?
Great video!! I want one! It's great feeling when I get a notification from you!!!!!!
Bosh from Australia & parts of Europe had this but green colored before.
Looks practical for cabinets
Very and the off set is perfect of the back of the cabinet or under the top rail
Hi Rob, thanks for the video... Is that offset angle adapter cannulated?
Milwaukee needs to get a brushless version over to Canada and the US
Def a punch list guy’s kit. Would not last 5 minutes on a production carpentry or masonry gig, but a warranty or finish guy could make good use of it.

Have you seen their new 12 volt saw? It’s pretty sweet
Awesome review!! Also, it was great to meet you at Festool Connect!! Keep up the great reviews!!
They have it in 18v too this has been out for awhile just new to the states
You guys should check out the black and decker matrix platform

Tim Corbett thanks for the info Tim

A Concord Carpenter / ToolBoxBuzz thanks for the info much appreciated
Sweet!
It's pretty all killer
Now maybe Milwaukee will bring theirs over to our shores?!
Usefull only for DIY and home use. Battery doesn't last longer.

They now also sell a brushless version that's more compact, has higher speed, higher torque, more runtime and finally has a belt hook.
I'd love to see Milwaukee do this
Needs a brushless motor
Minunat cu prima ocazie ami cumpar una
George Strait ;D Check yes or no :) ok I am gonna like this video because of that.
It is only missing a beld hook
👍👊
I need a belt hook not a holster.
There's a new brushless version that has one.
This must have been your 50th review of the day. You sound ready to quit, thinking to yourself just hurry and get through the features.
265 inch pounds? = 22.08 foot pounds= 💩
