      This was a nationwide case. Teens probably are not watching the news but maybe us as parents can teach this. Don’t let your friend drive drunk and don’t get in the car if your friend is drunk. Obviously teach them not to underage drink in the first place but if we are being honest that is what kids do. Hopefully this family can receive some sort of closure.

    AWP is awesome. This whole performance by the LEO especially the FBI speaks volumes on just how out of touch the system is. AWP has been doing this for years and has lots of wins and losses. When over 100 LEO cannot get organized enough to put this puzzle together but a wonderful group of professionals can get past process and jurisdiction fights to just find victims it is truly amazing!! Thank you for showing LEO how to truly get organized and worry about victims and not about TV time or fame. I hope other LEO will welcome you help in the future instead of banning you like so many have in the past.

AWP usually either pulls the plate off to ID it, or they dive to it and read it off so the watcher on the surface can ID it. If it had a plate than they know who's car it is.

    Here’s the thing everybody’s quick to jump on law-enforcement and there’s definitely some questions to be answered, however they haven’t said anything yet. We don’t know if the car has been there the whole time or somebody dumped it there after the fact. I would say let’s wait and get the information first but then definitely ask those questions. If they didn’t find her and the car was there the whole time I think they need to take a serious look at how that was missed and what can be done better if there’s something like this ever happens again. And as part of that I really would really love to see someone work with AWP to put together some kind of training showing how they do what they do for other dive teams and law enforcement agencies.

    I haven't followed this case terribly close but I've kept an eye on it and I just want to give condolences to the family, it's heartbreaking to lose a family member especially one so young. I would also like to say I find it highly suspicious that her car was found in this area/situation. By the looks of it the area she went in the water was not located roadside so it's not likely she ran off the road however she was 14 ft under water? Just going off the looks of the area it looks as though it's a beach or a large sandbar so it really makes no sense at all that she would have driven into the water. Hopefully after an autopsy they will have more of an idea as to what happened but just going off the appearance of the scene I suspect foul play. Again condolences to the family may she rest in peace.

      You and your ilk need to cease and desist with the bullshit conspiracy theories - and trust me when I say - while there are, indeed, *many* valid alternative explanations for an innumerable amount of “historical narratives,” this ain’t one of them, Sunshine.
      I can appreciate that people want there to be a “bad guy,” someone to blame for the tragic loss of life - and in the intervening time of little to no solid information or evidence to work from, sure - perhaps at that point, almost everything is on the table. It’s fun to explore theories and explanations… some of them might even seem plausible….
      Until…
      Data arrival. New information. A body. A vehicle. Now, plug this information into what is already known, and Occams Razor is satisfied… with no additional need for such gesticulating. I know it’s not as satisfying as a good who-done-it, and there’s seemingly no one to punish for this tragedy (though some are, remarkably, calling for the heads of her parents. Yes, that will help with healing. Perfect solution.) and that, ultimately, it’s just a tough outcome of poor choices and unlucky timing, inexperienced driving, lack of awareness and caution - it happens too many times, sadly. But desperately trying to make this into something it’s not is not only ignorant, it’s harmful - to everyone - including yourself.
      These arguments come, not from some deep seated compassion or caring for the deceased or her family, but rooted firmly in ego and the narcissistic need to be “right.” Might wanna get a checkup from the neck up, and check yourself before you wreck yourself. I furthermore understand that you will instinctively take this as a personal attack, which it absolutely isn’t - simply an astute observation - but the instinct must be fed, and it is driving your behaviors.
      That feeling of rage and extreme defensiveness you’re experiencing? That is *exactly* the thing that you need to have looked at. It’s dangerous, for you, and everyone around you.
      I solidly expect vitriol in return, but I again say with sincerity - get some help. Cheers.

      She was very drunk and possibly passed out. Maybe she was on her cell too. It was very late at night when she left that party. She apparently left alone and there aren't any lights in those woods or around the lake. When it's late at night, you're severely inebriated, and you're not an experienced driver, this is exactly what can happen. When you're highly intoxicated, you make extremely poor decisions. This is pretty much what happened to my friends uncle. He lives in that area and he nearly ended up in that lake. He was an alcoholic and he left a family party because he got mad over something. All he remembers is waking up in his jeep 10 feet away from the water. He's lucky to be alive. He no longer drinks because it scared him so badly that he hasn't had a drop in over 10 years. He swears that lake is haunted btw.

    • @Rob774
      @Rob774 Рік тому

      Not really. There's video showing its a straightforward path off the main road which leads to the lake. All it would have taken is one wrong turn after leaving to make it there. Your car engine makes up about half the weight of your vehicle. If she hit the water at any speed it would force the nose of the car down upon impact with the water, eventually causing it to flip cause of the weight of the engine. Drivers window and mirror was broken, which means the vehicle landed on its front passenger side first, breaking the mirror, and the weight of the upside down car breaking the glass. As the car flipped, she panicked going into the part of the car with the least water... the backseat.
      No conspiracy here. Let it go.

As to this girl, she apparently went with friends who left. Never went to a party with anyone I couldn't trust to stay sober when it was their turn as designated driver, or bailed, more than once if they didnt keep their word.
