  • We found 16-year-old Kiely Rodni in her 2013 Honda CRV underwater in Prosser Creek Reservoir - just 300 yards from her last known location where she attended a 300+ person party at Prosser Creek Family Campground near Truckee, CA.
Family, friends, and the entire Truckee community have been left seeking answers leading up to her disappearance in what has become one of the most extensively searched missing person cases in California state history - encompassing 18 agencies and over 19,000 search & rescue hours.
This video documents Doug Bishop & Nick Rinn’s search for Kiely Rodni and brings to light detailed information as well as “x-factor” clues given by courageous individuals that day willing to step in and do the right thing.
**SPECIAL UPDATE: In the original video at 39:44 Doug makes the phone call to Kiely's Aunt and Grandmother to let them know first that AWP had found Kiely and her Honda CRV in Prosser Creek Reservoir. This section of the video has been removed to honor a request by a family representative due to the sensitive nature and privacy the family wishes to have and maintain during these hard times. As in all of our past cases we prioritize the wishes of the family first and foremost. We are honored to serve Kiely's family to help bring closure during these hard times. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone in the Rodni-Nieman family so that healing can begin, and more answers be brought to light in the weeks and months ahead.
Because Kiely’s case is currently an active ongoing investigation with the Placer County Sheriffs Department - some individuals have been blurred and/or names have been removed to protect the integrity of the investigation.
If you or another person you know has ANY information regarding events that took place just prior to Kiely Rodni’s disappearance please step up, DO THE RIGHT THING, and contact:
    Placer County Sherrif’s Office:
    📞 Phone: Tip Line 530-581-6320 option 7
🖥️ Provide Information Anonymously to: linktr.ee/placersherif
During this search the AWP 5-mile Search Strategy was a pivotal tool in helping to locate Kiely:
    - Where were they last seen?
    - Where did they live?
    - Where did they work?
    - Where did they go to school?
    - Where were they going?

The car was found really far away from the shore. It’s likely that it rolled into the lake, floated for awhile and then sank.
People need to be careful with their theories. (not directed towards either comments above)
People now think they’re CSI. One YT channel is saying
“they” somehow locked her into her car seat, had the AAA guy touch the belt to place his finger prints on the belt?
When the news was released she died of drowning, they’re now changing the story and saying it’s a cover up. People just keep adding to the story to make it suspicious. 🤦‍♀️

What people don't seem to realize is that the people who intentionally do this are most often found in the front seat, buckled in, as they have no intention of escaping. The people who drive into water by accident typically try to escape and flee the water. Which in 90% of the cases, the engine sinks first and water comes in from the front so people flee to the back of the vehicle. There is a chilling video of a woman driving into a flooded underpass and you can see her trying to get out of the back of the vehicle as the front and eventually the entire vehicle submerges. The fact that she was in the back seat, and not buckled into the front seat, makes me think this was an accident. A young inexperienced driver who had been drinking accidently drives into the lake instead of staying on the beach and cannot get out in time.

    • @TMCremixes
      @TMCremixes 19 днів тому

We have to remember though that if there was indeed foul play involved, the perpetrator would not have been spilling the beans in front of a crowd. It's possible the perpetrator drove her somewhere before or after he/she murdered her, to dump the body. The party was over and people were leaving, so there's a chance someone could have seen it but also no one may have seen it. We'll never know. Also if it was an accident, as sad as it is, these things can go unnoticed too. It only takes mere minutes, sometimes seconds for a car to become fully submerged. I remember where I live a young woman and a child drove right off a super busy road at a turn. Authorities searched for days, it was all over the news until finally weeks later the car was found after someone reported finding car tire tracks through bushes on the route they drove. No one saw it happen, and it wasn't captured on surveillance cam either I believe.

Because that car is loud loud loud when you have windows open it makes a thumping sound - but if you totally open one on one side and partly open one on the other it is just the sound of air blowing through and the thumping stops. So many cars are like that since the 90's. I had this particular car and the one I have now is terrible re this issue.

What you guys do is just so amazing... considering local law enforcement supposedly "searched" that entire area. I won't go into blaming anyone, but ... well, no "but"... I'm just glad y'all brought these parents' baby home. I don't know why it's different for me than the ones where someone has been missing for decades (even when kids are involved)... but this one was just different because the parents really hadn't had the time to start considering she _wasn't_ coming home alive. Nick, you have my utmost respect, as a Firefighter myself I understand the heartbreak you feel, but don't even let it stop you from doing what you do. You inspire other people to not give up in the search for missing individuals. My respect to all of you, and God bless you...
