Planet Crafter - The Story of Ikhlas
Вставка
- Опубліковано 2 жов 2024
- We follow the journey of one of the main game characters, Ikhlas. Up until now it was the one story that we didn't know the outcome. Now we can follow his story from start to finish and find out what happened to him.
Planet Crafter is a first person, space, survival, crafting game. You have been sentenced to terraform a planet for the crimes that you have committed.

With the Warden's Defensive weapon he probably didn't made it and crash back in some yet undiscovered part of the planet, but I hope he made it and found his family again.
He was aware of the magnetic fields so maybe he found some way around it.
Also we're still able to launch rockets, it's just ships that crash, so maybe that's a factor.
@@urkerab I think, that's not a factor, but a flaw in the whole story. If the orb prevents all spaceships from leaving the planet, why are we able to launch rockets into the orbit? And if the orb is not strong enough to prevent the launch, but only leaving the orbit, then Ikhlas should still be up there, orbiting the planet. But why would there be this many crashed ships on the surface?
@@ffets-SEP Ah yes, but remember that the Space Warp Gate was only drawn to the planet just after its main power reactor was turned on, so maybe the rockets don't have big enough power reactors to trigger the drainage device.
@@ffets-SEP has to be a hole in the story. I was thinking maybe it only senses fusion cores on ships. But there are crashed ships with no cores. I was then thinking maybe circuit boards. Maybe Ikhlas made a rocket without any guidance from circuit boards. But our trade rockets are guided with circuit boards. How Ikhlas did all he did without a multi tool is the bigger question.
Ikhlas is an Arabic word that means sincerity in English
Awesome. Thanks.
Google translator says Malaysian but same translation - sincere.
I think Ikhlas's final camps are using the domed hab (it's a trade blueprint) rather than multiple bio domes. He was trying to survive, not terraform the planet. I don't think he had enough power to run multiple bio domes.
Yes definitely. He was focused on getting off the planet.
Great Video, thank you for piecing the story together, I am going to explore his final place soon.
Thank you and enjoy.
have you tryed eden crafter very like planet crafter
I will look it up. Thanks.
Can you make Xiaodan's story next? Great story ^^
I will have a look at it.
Nicely put together telling of Ikhlas' story - Thanks Surtr 🍻
Like you, I like to think that he successfully got into and beyond orbit :)
We can only hope. Thanks for watching.
Don't you think rebuilding a rocket and using Iklas' platform to escape the planet would be a good alternate ending? Maybe you could meet up with Riley. After all, the equipment Iklas used wouldn't be monitored by Sentinel Corp, so you should be able to send Riley a message. A life as an escaped criminal can't be as bad as being left to die on a barren planet. Maybe.
That would be quite a cool alt ending.
Ah it was fun binging all of your Planet Crafter 1.0 videos~! Entertaining imo! Can't wait to see the game update more and hopefully more Planet Crafter video releases~
Thank you. Glad you like them!
Thank you for telling his story. I am sure he would have liked it.
I hope so! Thanks for watching.
Brilliant stuff! Thanks so much for putting this all together into such a good story! I do hope we meet up with him at some point to swap stories as fellow planet crafters. Really good job!! It’s a pity I can only “like” it once!
Thank you so much. It would be cool to extend the story.
I am curious if we can or will ever meet Riley.
I doubt it.
Thank you for doing this, Surtr, and following it so carefully.
To anyone wondering about the wardens' device, it was only incoming ships that crashed, and our little stuff isn't affected.
Yes, there's a small crashed craft but maybe it was overpowered.
He was a clever guy and would have been quite aware of the problems and crash sites.
I think he got away
I agree. Maybe one day we will meet him.
@@surtrplays That would be fantastic, but a massive undertaking for the devs, so we may have to meet him in our imagination...

Love the video!
4:44 Someone did come looking, but presumably they didn't survive their crash into the rift canyon...
There are so many crashed ships.
@@surtrplays Yes but one in particular was looking for missing ships only to inevitably turn into a missing ship itself.
Sad thing is Ikhlas never found the Warden's drain device, so likelyhood is any ship that came for his escape pod probably got caught and crashed as well. He'd have either had to de-orbit or worse, is still up there orbiting dead waiting for a rescue that could never arrive. This game doesn't seem to like happy endings.
helly my Friend ....fully up-todate with your videos.....have a great gaming week
Thanks, you too!
Great video. I was under the impression he died when the rocket launched given there's so much debris on the rocket pad though? It looks like the rocket exploded during launch.
The launch scaffold is broken but there are no rock parts. I'm going to be optimistic and say that he made it.
Great video! Always enjoy your content!
Thank you so much.
I wish there was a linear story in the game.
It's totally confusing to find these notes in the wrong order.
That is what makes it fun, piecing everything together.
Nice play Surtr. We love listening to stories
Thanks GD.
I enjoyed this story very much. thank you.
Thank for watching.
Neat story. Thanks for putting this together.
Hey Rick. Thank for watching.
Fantastic job, thanks!!
Thank you for watching.
It is incredibel that Ikhlas chose the crater since it was full of sandfall, when we see it in the beginning. Im wondering about the glowing orb we findfollowing one of the trails. Are we supose to destroy it since it is the reason all these ships has crashlanded on this planet???
You will destroy it than it'll open up 3 end games for you
He seemed to be an intelligent and resourceful guy. Maybe he found a way to get passed the magnetic field issue.
@@alexpena4091 The creators of the orb made sure that their end game didn't require you to destroy it.
@@urkerab except the fact that sentinel will tell you hey there's something preventing us from picking you up go to this place and take care of it you have to blow up the orb to allow you to take off the planet that's where the end game choices come in
@@alexpena4091 Doesn't affect that one ending.
love this lore concept. it's always fun when someone spends the time to be a game historian. Thanks :)
I'm glad you enjoyed it. Thanks.
