Homestyle Chili con Carne | John Dengis

Hey guys, welcome to my channel!
When I was a kid, every winter my dad would make this chili con carne, and so it became a staple winter-time comfort food for me. I still try to make this dish every winter as a sort of tradition, and each time, I enjoy it as much as the first. That's why I'm excited to share this recipe with you today, and I hope you enjoy this recipe as well.
Here are the ingredients to make this homestyle Chili con Carne:
- 500g ground beef
- 2 jalapeno peppers
- 2 800mL cans of tomatoes
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 can of kidney beans
- 2 sweet peppers
- 1 300g box of mushrooms
- 1/2 onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 tbsp chili powder
- 1 heaping tbsp brown sugar
