    ooking for 45 minutes, isn't that too long? I have watched some other "sweet Potatoes soup"youtubes and the cooking time is 12, 15 minutes. So was there a mistake with 45 minutes? Thank you for your answer,

    What kind of sweet potato variety do you use?

      I used the yellow sweet potato variety in the recipe, which gives it a nice sweet flavor.😸

      Yes, a very easy family dessert 😻 Btw, Ginger is a very important ingredient in this recipe.

      @@letscookhongkongfood1566 My mom and my girlfriend both not from hong kong enjoy it without the ginger. If I were not so used to having the ginger in it , I would probably prefer it without the ginger too. It adds a strong taste that i sometimes find unpleasant if Im just looking to satisfy my sweet tooth

    why rinse the starch out of the potatoes? ☹️ the starch is what makes the soup a teeny bit thicker

      Well...this process can prevent surface oxidation and blackening. In addition, it can make sweet potatoes softer. 😄

      Today i started learning how to make sweet potato dessert. Excited as i wanted to be a top in master chef that will get rid of the bloated tummy.
