Rescued Snowy Owl Safe in Ohio

This gorgeous Snowy Owl has become a resident of a Wildlife Rescue/Rehabilitation/ Sanctuary in Ohio. 'Back to the Wild' is located in Castalia Ohio & they are dedicated to saving, rehabbing & releasing Ohio's wildlife! When they can't release, then they give them a place of their own to live out the rest of their lives.

For now, you get to enjoy this beautiful female Snowy Owl make her first event debut. She wasn't used to a group of people as this was her first time. At first she was shy & a bit upset but once she realized she was going to be just fine, she relaxed. The staff was very attentive & protective to the birds needs. When people got too close or a bird was upset, they rectified the situation immediately.
This event is held a couple times a year & is a wonderful opportunity to see these immaculate creatures up close & learn more about our surrounding wildlife & how/when to help them!
