The little duck at the end of the line that kept slipping
like the yellow duck on Tom and Jerry
Cuboid Siren
He was trying to swim!!
Cuboid Siren I know, I had tears streaming down my face and ended up crying my heart out for it...I can't handle anything to do with animals...I hope they are all okay. the babies were getting so tired..such a wonderful man taping this....🐥

💕
Those ducklings were like SO
well-mannered and well behaved. What a cute feathered fam! 🦆🐤🐤🐤🐤🐤🐤🐤🐤🐤🐤🐤
But you're missing a chick!
That was a group of good, kind, loving strangers, who came together for a purpose. ❤️
Wish the entire world was like these people!
Aw, that's sweet----a duck and her flock being babysitted and shepherded to safety by a bunch of concerned humans, lol.
That's what America is all about. Everyone getting along for the greater good.
Yes
Sweet!!
How intelligence the mother. She "knew" she needed to go through the building to the back to the pond.
She sensed it.
Birds have better directional sense than humans. That’s why I was thinking they shouldn’t be so worried.
Birds like this don't "know" like humans do as it's more of a basic instinct for them to understand locations better than we do. Many birds have something like an internal GPS. She could have also smelt that the pond was nearby.
@@anaistres3359 Ya but they could get hit while they're figuring out where to go.
What a kind and caring man (and eventually others) and thank you to that store employee who allowed that mama and her babies to cut through her store. Bless you all❤️❤️❤️
❤❤❤
Maybe that mother duck used to pass at the store
I love that guy. “What do we DO?” He wouldn’t walk away until he knew it was handled and saw they were safe. We need more people like that in our world. It will be a better place when more of us step up like this. Kudos to whole group. ✨👍🏻
💕
That was so great! Momma duck acted like she'd been in that store before! 😁
Gazzy Bishop 😂😂😂
she robbed the shop twice
Yeer-Buddy lol....
“Did they all make it?” Someone asked this after the ducks got into the pond and I’m incredibly heart-warmed. 🥺
Mine too 💕😍
Every Single One made it 😊❤️

I meant to say my heart too 💖
Someone should force trump to watch this!!!! He only cares about himself
Wish there were more people like this gentleman that stayed and watched over this little flock. Thank you for giving your time and protection for the misguided little flock.❤️
Apparently adult ducks can sense water 3 miles away. Amazing creatures. I once followed at a safe distance while a mother duck led her ducklings to a lake 1/4 mile away as I wanted to make sure they were safe.
Thats what I wondered. How did the mother Duck know she needed to get to the back of the mall?
You must be right. Why else did she walk through the store and head straight for the pond when she could not see it?
The world still has beautiful people.
♥️ 🦆 ♥️ 🦆 ♥️🦆♥️🦆♥️🦆♥️🦆
Humble and kind
It does.
Everyone says so till they go online 😂😂
Unfortunately, I Don't Know if There Just Aren't as Many Caring People as there Have Been in Previous Generations, Before TV and Smart Phones. 🤔I Sometimes Feel that We have become Desensitized. I Honestly Hope and Pray That I am Wrong.🙏💖 🦆💖

If only human children can listen like these ducklins to the mother
If only human parents would teach their kids to respect animals, especially moms with babies, by getting and staying the heck out of their way, giving them a lot of space and not harassing them by following so close.
Ducklings*
The way little kids interact with small animals just scares me.
Not sure why this is in my recommended so many years later but I hope that store manager got a raise for going above and beyond
Videos like this make me believe there’s still hope in the human race. To everyone who helped mama duck and her babies: thank you and God bless you always! 🙏👏👍
That man was amazing,he was not going to leave till they were safe.
So nice how everyone worked together.
Yes that man was committed to solving the problem. What a great video. I was worried about the water because domestic baby ducks can’t swim . They get waterlogged and drown. But these are wild swimming baby ducks! It is interesting that the mother knew just which direction they needed to go to get home.
He sounds like the guy who pooped his pants
@@pattysherwood7091 Might you be confusing chicks with ducklings? Because ducks swimm, even baby ducks. If you keep ducks you need to provide water for them to swim. Chicks, on the other hand, don't swim.
Yeah I like that💖
I know i love him .
When people cooperate with each other they produce wonders.
Absolutely true.
Congrats to all the Duck Whisperers who helped Mama Duck and her Babies return to their nearby pond!❤
This touched my soul!!! Humans did the right thing, worked together to save a family.

I LOVE how the babies follow their mom😭😭
Such discipline
The guy who is helping her is my hero. Thank you for doing what you’re doing here. It made my day to see this as you helped them turn around. I love how you keep talking to the Mama telling her it’s okay and that she’s a good girl. God is smiling down at you. Awww - the cute little ducky in the back slipping across the floor trying to keep up. Heart melted...
The Runt 🥰💕
I know...I was rooting for that one!!
That was definitely cute.
That one had extra slippy feet.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
This fellow filming is the sort of person you want in a chaotic situation. He keeps calm and level headed, and does the right thing.
Yes, I want to get lost in an island with him!
Yeah cause this is surely a test of a chaotic situation. Not.
Man I needed him last night 🤣😂
Yes he was trusting enough to listen to all suggestions
What? He’s herding ducks along… he’s hardly taming lions doofus.
Very heartwarming that people joined together to help the birds to safety. I'm glad I got this video as a recommendation 9 yrs. later. It's very sweet.
Absolutely beautiful! That little duckling in the back had slippery feet in the store and kept slipping trying to keep up, I wanted to help the little guy so bad, but then I was extremely glad the guy filming made sure to count them at the end to make sure they had all made it safely to the pond! What a caring person, truly good hearted people in the world and I’ve always thought we should be the caretakers of this world instead of exploiters, and what a paradise we would ALL live in if so. Love this!! :-) :-) :-)
Ну хотя-бы покормили бы, не зря же пришли к людям
I think muma knew which to go as she was looking at the right shop to go through....
I agree with you, she just had no idea of how to get them through there. 2nd mama duck yelled at her one duckling to stay by her and not take off-lol. sounds like little me. 3rd-she realized that they were no threat when she was handed water.

So sweet the mama duck and her ducklings managed to find their way back to the pond with the kind help of the gentleman, all the ladies and the shop employee with her boss. There’s hope in life which ends up with a happy end ever after.
I love how happy we get when we do good for others. Even watching others do good for others makes us happy.
Never believe anybody who tells you that humans are bad.
Good job everyone!! I felt so bad for the Mother duck, she couldn't find her way to the back. Thank you for giving them water and staying with them, and for the store clerk that let them in. There should be more people around like you. 😇
Martha Brown I agree.
I see this everyday here in FLORIDA. People disreguard that they are living creatures trying to survive in a dangerous world and not a nuisance but, victims.
What kept me watching is the determination and honestly sweet team effort. The high fives at the end had me cheering not for the ducks but, for the joy of those caring people. All races, sexes, ages, nationalities working together because it was the right thing to do. Woohoo! 🙌 💓😊

Anyone who doesn't respect animals is sick
I totally just said the same thing, I live here and it is awful the things I see. I have a neighbor who shoots at cats with a bee bee gun and no one, not even the police do anything. It is just shameful
@@aimwilliamson6609 That's really sad :(. I'm in South Florida and see just the opposite. I see stuff like this video all the time. Everyone is pretty respectful and patient to all the creatures down here.
That was wonderful to see, strangers working together to help the momma duck get her babies to safety. Thank you to all!
This guy to sit there and help that bird with the babies it's just a blessing to see May everyone take care of our animals
To the man taking video, you are a wonderful person. So many others would just walk away. There are no coincidences in life, everything happens for a reason and you were meant to be there, Thank You! Thank you to the other people who helped with the rescue as well
Adrienne Friederich Couldn't have said it any better - total agreement! This video gave me hope in the goodness of many people.
Tarantula Why would you want them to kill themselves?
I agree
I understand what you're saying, a really great guy. But 'meant to be there'? What about all the atrocities that happen to both animals and humans on a daily basis? Was it just these ducks this guy was sent to save? I don't get that mentality. But I do get that he was a very nice guy with a good heart and luckily he was there to help this particular duck and her young find their way back to relative safety.
El Astronaute
l understand completely what you're saying. l have come to believe its because humans have free will-far too many times people have an assignment that they fail to complete.
Such a good hearted man, the world needs more people like you sir.
This was like watching a movie. It made me scared in suspense it made me laugh and cry. The camera guy was so comforting
The guy filming and talking to her was so nice and it looks the mom duck recognized he was helping them. It also appears that Mom had gone through the store before, she knew where to go. The person that let her in last time was probably off that day.
There are good people in this world. Thank you for helping this mama and her babies.
These people stopped their day for this duck family and I couldn't be happier for the human race at this moment.
Their legs must have been so tired. They're used to the water holding them up and just paddling most of the time. When they come out of the water they don't do that much and that kind of walking. A pleasure to share this life with such kind hearted people.
I want to thank everyone who helped this family to safety, and many thanks to store who definitely helped as well! This was heart warming to see, and made my day.
Loving kindess and compassion is still alive and strong in the world and when there is that there is hope . Well done guys you made a difference in helping that little duck family 😊
Kylie Wilson Indeed!
Caylande 😊
Yes Yes! I'm proud to live in Florida with you!
I'm proud of the variety of ethnic backgrounds we have making our communities culturally rich. And of course no need to be proud of everyone working together - because no matter our backgrounds we are all human. But I am proud of the kindness and humanity shown by these people.
They didn't just stop and call some agency that may not have come or another that is overtaxed with work. They took it upon themselves. As a community of people, collaborating, showing initiative and a willingness to think way outside the box.
Super Kudos to the people in the shop! Get me it's name and I will buy there whenever I'm in Tampa!
I could have taken, actually another 30 secs of the celebration at the end. Because in the end, the story of the people coming together was just as important as the rescue of the ducklings and the empathy shown the mother duck.
Mom duck was awfully brave wasn't she? :)
Those ducks do fly quite well by the way..
But she stayed down on the ground and close to her babies.
In fact, as an aside, one theory I have is these ducks have been known to put their nests a little way up in trees. The babies tumble down pretty much immediately after their born and Mom takes them to new location.
Well, maybe to this young mom, the trees on the other side of the parking lot didn't seem so far a way. Just a few 0wing flaps from the lake...
I doubt she'll make that mistake again. But it seems from observation, while its safe to have babies near water where they can quickly slide in to evade land and air predators, making a nest, that with 12 ducklings would take a) making nest b) 1 day on nest for each egg [so at least 12!] c) 28 days to hatch out ×/- a bit.
40 days of sitting needs to be away from the land sides of pond where the predators congregate. Just a little FYI about ducks nesting in Urban areas. ;)
Thanks to everyone there that day. Thanks to the man who videod. And the parents teaching their children that sometimes we need to pause to help others. Teaching empathy and kindness. Teaching to trust in strangers can come together for the common good. Thanks for 30 mins of goodness in my day today, when I'm home sick. ;)

"Following him around" was actually a way of showing support for what he was doing. And extra hands nearby in situations like this are helpful.
So if you see 1 or 2 people helping don't hesitate to still stop, no need to say, "Oh someone is helping I don't have to stop or join them..." When people are there - not to gawk and just be vulture like observers - but to be on hand - like the people here who with their presence helped steer Mom duck the right way - it actually makes it less stressful for the one or two people who may seem like "they are handling it." It mentally helps validate their efforts as well as helping in other ways.
Also while plenty of people, myself included will help a person or animal, with no need for "validation" - (It's just the right thing to do.) I can tell you from my experience, talking to others, and from my studies, that it just makes it feel better to those helpers. It is a moment of a good feeling that comes when strangers / like minded people step in to do what's kind in a harsh world.
I wish we would work this hard to help our fellow human beings too. No matter who they are. Love to all!!!!
People help people all the time. Most people (the ones the MSM doesn't give a damn about) share, donate, help, and genuinely care about those less fortunate than themselves. Anyone who believes animals are always gentle, and humans should be like them, has never seen a cat torture a mouse before killing it, or a dog shake a chicken to death. Good is where you find it, as is evil. You are obviously one of the good people; for that, I thank you. ✌✌✌
Now that would really be something to celebrate..
If WE ALL helped one another like such in this video then this world would be an amazing, beautiful place all over for everyone!!...wow just the thought sent waves of euphoric energy through me lol
let us all be a better version of ourselves & get this world to a place of happiness that we all truly wish to experience ❤🌍
Baby chicks are so much cuter though. But I get what you're saying. It's just hard not to instantly fall in love with baby animals.
Not all the time. I see people in New York that get ignored if they are living in the streets. Some people videotape them which is discusting
Love that the man is so concerned and trying to find help. Gives me hope for humanity.God bless him.
Meanwhile, the ducklings tried to swim on the shiny floor, ha, ha. The last one took a long time to figure out this wasn't water. But he got it in the end. So adorable.
Thanks for sharing this lovely video and good job to all involved leading them to safety.
That's because they're used to being in water the little legs get tired from walking they're used to swimming

This is so refreshing to see, kind hearted people saving these ducks and really took time to lead them back home.
It’s so amazing (and confusing) how people can be so compassionate for animals when they’re not eating them. I love this video ❤️
That's why I became a vegan.
Well you see all animals serve a purpose in life and in death, we eat them to gain nutrients, and what's left behind gives nutrients to the earth, but every creature plays some role in life, so who are we to kill them or let them die by illness if we don't have to? Being an omnivore isn't a sin, it is a role, a role of which we are meant to play.
What a wholesome video! Thank you to everyone who helped this duck family. That was an mini epic journey.

WOThms ♡♡♡
WOthms there is a "language of intent" between some (lucky) humans and animals.
When a connection is made, animals understand you, without knowing what you're saying. I'm sure the mamma duck sensed what the man had been thinking. No, not every word he'd said; he'd pictured the door and the ducks going into the store.
The mamma duck had understood his intent. ;)

Lol, all those duck talking people are just getting in the way
In watching the video again, I noticed a distinct difference in the upper features of the smaller birds (duck-looking) from the larger one (turkey-looking). In being poetic and personifying them, it seems the ones who were “ducking” seemed intent to “catch her (key-tur)” and get her point too; and she seemed to protect that desire.
I thought I'd do a little detour and do a bit of window shopping on the way to the pond lol.
