"I WANT TO HOLD YOUR HAND" BEATLES CARTOON. To hide from their fans, the Beatles run inside a diving bell which drops them into the ocean with a lovesick octopus.
This episode predicted Yellow Submarine. Not just the film, but THE SONG. This episode was premiered in 1965 and Yellow Submarine was recorded in 1966. I think Paul composed that inconsciously inspired by The Beatles Cartoon
This cartoon, besides being a prophecy about 2 Ringo songs, shows us what a great drummer he really is. Look at him keeping a perfect 4/4 backbeat using Paul's deepsea diving helmet, or an octopus's tentacle or a simple little clam that's got the seahorses dancing. Could Pete Best ever do that? No and that's why Pete the Mama's boy was fired & Ringo was hired, cause he could serenade the sealife.....
Was this maybe originally produced before the song "Octopus' Garden" existed? Love the fact they said Help in the diving bell while on their way to the octopus since the movie, Help, was originally titled Eight Arms To Hold You and an octopus does have eight arms. 😉
Back in the 1980s, was an urban myth that the last cartoon of THE BEATLES was “Octopus’ Garden”, based on a clipping from TV Guide that featured a picture of the cartoon with the smiling octopus holding the Beatles. But that clipping was obviously from 1965, 4 years before “Octopus’ Harden” would be released.
Remember, this cartoon is from 1965. Not only did it prophecy yellow submarine one year before it was written, but it also predicted octopus's garden almost 4 years before Ringo came up with the idea.....
According to Wikipedia, this show was produced from 1965 to 1967, so the song "Octopus' Garden" did not exist yet. Perhaps Ringo watched the show and this is where he got the idea for the song? 🤔
@@gerrynightingale9045 Wry humor is everything. But, I actually did wonder why they did not use "Octopus' Garden" until I looked up that information. Just thought I'd share what I learned.
@@gregorymoore2877 Ringo Starr hated the cartoon and the show's creators and the rest of The Beatles hated the cartoon (though George and John loved it later on not Ringo and Paul). Also according to Wikipedia, Ringo had the idea for the song while he was on a boat belonging to Peter Sellers (A comedian that future comedian Robin Williams had a influence on) in Sardinia in 1968. He ordered fish and chips but instead of fish, he got squid.
The original song used is on Past Masters Vol. 1. The more appropriate song, which did not exist when this was first produced, is on Abbey Road. Both available on Apple Music. 😉
Is there anywhere to find the version of I want to hold your hand at the end because even though everyone is just complaining about it I actually really liked it.
You know, I can no longer upload the cartoons with the original music, since You Tube blocks them from me. This situation is annoying, but all this because of copyright.
I love that in this cartoon Paul looks constantly high out of his mind
Exactly it’s hysterical 😂
So it's true-to-life accurate.
Its so accurate

And Octupuses’ Garden
@@crixxxxxxxxxomg my thought exactly I was about to comment on both counts submarine and octopus then I saw this thread
Could have gotten the idea for the song Help from this too.
@@davidgodley9420 no. The TV series was premiered in September 1965, while Help (the song, the album and the film) were released in July-August 1965
They made a cartoon out of this band? Well now I have a new favorite cartoon.
Too bad there wasn't a Rolling Stones cartoon , but it would take too long to draw & animate Mick Jagger's Lips.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The first Beatles' cartoon that I watched, and the first song I heard from them ❤❤❤❤❤
When you are wearing headphones the screams are so fucking violent like scraping a razor blade across the chalkboard.

YeLLow Submarine?
@@jaredallenramos4715yes that was a yellow submarine and octopuses garden, years before the songs were ever written. Yeah the cartoon is prophecy.
Yeah that makes sense
Sweet of those boys reunite them.

Robert Smigel did a good job parodying this on his Saturday Evening Funhouse.

Necesito esto en español y también quiero un remake👍👍👍👍
*Shouldn't this be 'Octopus's Garden' instead?* (sounds more appropriate to me)
yeah, missed opportunity but this is what could have been

Excellent job fellows!!😎😎😎🧞♀️🧞♀️🇺🇸🇺🇸
The Beatles are from the UK
Octopus Garden Totally Makes Sense In This Episode Than I Wanna Hold Your Hand
But Octopus Garden Was Released In 1969 Not 1965
John is a well spoken Southern Jessie
2:56 did he just put his fingers in his helmet 😭
He did 😂😭
1969 logic
Where’s the Beatle music?

UMG an Apple has made it nearly impossible to post original Beatles songs. Have been blocked more than once.
Is there anywhere to find the version that's used in this because I actually really like it.
From South Korea to Philippines
Did y'all see how the Beatles went from calm to frantic when they realized they were trapped inside the diving bell with no way out?
Is there anywhere to find the version of I want to hold your hand at the end because even though everyone is just complaining about it I actually really liked it.
How did Ringo get out of the box/container/cage if there were windows! If there were no windows, wouldn’t they have drownes
Bc he’s Ringo
Don't be silly
That’s not the version of I want to Hold your hand I know
That's another reason they hired Ringo & fired Pete Best. Who else can keep a perfect beat underwater using a clam?
Leandro Baldemor as Jack Galang
Jean Garcia as Amelia Galang
Nakarehas Na Puso Weekdays 4 15 pm On GMA Afternoon Prime

Is Paul Frees the announcer?
Not only he is the announcer, he's also the voice of John and George.

Al Brodaxe at his best.
Originally Al Brodax wanted to make a comic strip for the Sunday Comics on the Beatles but King Features wasn’t interested.
That intro is from Blondie and Dagwood.

Honestly this song does not sound like the song "I want to hold your hand" lol
Ringos nose
la cagaron sino ponen la cancion de los beatles
La canción está culerisima prefiero la original
No se puede, Apple Récords borra todos los vídeos o incluso canales si ponen la música de los Beatles, no es tan facil tener derechos de ellos :(
