Beatles Cartoon STEREO - Eight Days a Week
Вставка
- Опубліковано 4 лют 2025
- From 1966 (though it SAYS 1965). The Beatles visit a movie studio, where they discover that famous lover in the movies, Lipps Lovely, has "lost his lip" - worn out from endless kissing! But Paul doesn't believe it could be that bad, and takes Lipps' place in his current movie, only to learn that it's more hazardous than he thought!
The song is dubbed in stereo; I added the song ending from "Anthology 1" (mono) over the ending credits.
These Beatle cartoons were my life when I was a child.
Neato!!!
Mine too and as a teenager!
What are you a 150.
@@adrianbaker9451 What is a 150?
@adrianbaker9451 nobody knows what you're talking about. Perhaps you could enlighten us with your level of intelligence.
The greatest little band in the history of the world, the happy, wonderful Beatles
when i was in 2/3/4th grade we had a spelling quiz. one of the words was beetle, i spelled it beatle and my teacher marked it right then wrote "i'll let it slide this time cuz i love paul mccartney" :)
That's too cool !
Indeed! 🥳🎉@@davidvasquez8658
This is even funnier when you realize Paul McCartney was dating actress Jane Asher and the relationship was breaking down about this time.
That's hilarious.
@@davidvasquez8658Not to Jane Asher, at the time 😔. Just saying 😉. 11/11/24.
Harrison = Awesomeness
Ringo = Humor
Paul = Kept Hair
John = Hippie Shades
put em together and u get THE BEATLES
Humour*
これも面白いな〜😀
ジョージのステップや、リンゴのドラミングの頭振りなども見られて思わずニンマリ👍😀
曲のコーダの部分も聴けて最高!!!
Paul Frees was heard in many of these cartoons . He also did Boris Badenov on ''Rocky and Bullwinkle''
Yes and the style of these cartoons, the animation and all were very Jay Ward.
Paul Free was also The Thing from the Fantastic Four AND was the original narrator from Disneyland 's Haunted Mansion!
@@anthonytijerina8247 Wow!
the cartoons are the best to watch over and over, I just purchased The Beatles Cartoons
I always loved the crescendo start & finish of this song.
I like Lennon's profile while he's singing in this cartoon, it's accurate.
I LOVE BEATLES CARTOONS!!!
the little tune in the intro is GREAT!!!
One of my fave early songs from The Fab Four 4️⃣ Love song! ❤
Paul: *looks at screen* "Anyone can kiss!" :D:D and Ringo so cute! 3:28
"a kiss? no, no, ANYTHING BUT THAT!" said no man, ever.
…..I have…..
He does if her boyfriend is 5 times his size and right behind him... discretion, you know?
That really is one of the best episodes ever! I'm so glad you posted this! I really did enjoy it! Thanks so very much!
I loved these cartoons! Had the set on dvd!
YEAHHH!! THE HARRISON HOP AT 2:38!!
Boy those were the days, the happy lads from Liverpool. All good friends, no cracks about Jesus, no Yoko, no drugs. Just great music.
This was one of the first Beatle songs to show a classical music influence. That guitar riff that opens and closes the song is reminiscent of a symphonic crescendo.
Originally telecast on September 10, 1966.
I had never seen or heard of these cartoons before. But I am glad I know them know. They are great and this episode is my favorite so far lol
Poor Paul... :( But the ending was hilarious! :)
such an incredible song! I love the Beatles
I think the person edited the song back in but he did a good job with lip sync! Appreciate the effort
i used to watch these for hours im back
Great sound!!
i love this
Thank you so much for posting this! CLASSIC!
Aww this was always my favorite episode!
Thanks for all your accumulated effusive praise! :)
what i find cool is that they also sang their songs in cartoons

8 Days A Week was a great
early Beatles song
they inexplicably NEVER
played live. Maybe because
John's studio lead vocal
was like, tripled.
These cartoons have never been shown on British television and I was a kid in the 1960s and 1970s when we had a lot of US cartoons.
Paul to John: Anything you say, o pearless leader! LOL
Aw! Poor Paulie!! Thank goodness that didn't happen in real life!!
The second that big guy who'd "lost pucker" came out that studio door at the beginning, my first thought was, "That's Boy George without his wig!"
He reminded me of Brando.
Lo maximoo...🎉
Paul running away from a kissing girl?? This looks hilarious.
i love this song
3:43 OMG!!!! that looks exactly like Ringos car in yellow submarine!!!! :D
it's cooler in person, lolz :D i luv ringo
Love the video!
how come it's always paul that gets into trouble?
although the trouble he gets into this time is trouble i would KILL to have :P
Me neither. Paul is the cutest Beatle.
I cant believe these actually exist, so funny! XD
That was awkwardly awesome. =]
The drawings of the lads and the way they move is spot on, shame about the voices, they decided to use, i guess because they thought the American audience wouldn't understand a Scouse accent. Which is weird because they must have seen and understood the 'Hard days Night' movie and all those interviews they did in the USA. i think one of the voice actors is the British actor, Lance Percival.
run paul run!
Do you think the "do not enter when RED light is flashing" was one of the first clues in the Paul car crash hoax. This Cartoon was made on September 10 1966, 1 day before The Beatles claimed the crash took place.
I mean, Paul actually gets into a car accident in this cartoon too! 😳
Spooky!
@ Spooky indeed. Also, holy moly my comment is 15 years old. I was big on conspiracy theories back then. Sadly I was even questioning if Sandy Hook was real or not. Thank god I smartened up.
I love how she's got Paul on some kind of leash lol but isn't that every girl's dream?
Poor Paul!!!!
When didn’t they use the same 4, voice actors, that voiced the Yellow Submarine movie.
Having the four guys who did the voices in _Yellow Submarine_ came _later, AFTER_ they'd had Paul Frees and Lance Percival do the four characters all through the American cartoon TV series in years prior to YS, working with a FAR smaller production budget than made-for-movie-theaters YS had.
Got Lennon's nose down perfect
@wtch32 totally! who doesn't love the beatles cartoons. and this is one of their best songs too! I'm the 295th person to like this!
It is hell the Beatles, from their CD "Anthology 1", described in the liner notes as "take #5".
buenisimo!
Ringo- nearly, Paul - on the button, George- almost but Lennon ?!!! Did they never listen to him speak?
Gahh, is there any place I can buy these on DVD??? This show is SO FUNNY. And the Beatles are my FAVORITE band!
@Jbugg12321
The CARTOON was made in 1966, but is erroneously copyrighted "1965" as ITS date of production. The song, of course, was recorded and first released in 1964.
Paul Rules!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Damn I want to live in the 60s xD
Were these made by the same people that made Rocky and Bullwinkle?
😂yes
I wouldn't know offhand, but IMDB says he did so in 1969 ("Commissioner").
why were not the beatle cartoons ever released on dvd?
Hahaha 2:02 ringo and george xD
...
For the first part of the song before they sing, where the heck is lead guitar??
4:32 SWIM PAUL SWIM!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG! I JUST GOT IT! 8 DAYS A WEEK?!!!! there r only 7 days wow
why the anthology version is listened during the final credits?? it was the video edited after that record was released or it was just done like that??
1:24 macca's not having any of your crap
@beatlesgtpepper He actually does that little dance on The Ed Sullivan show I think.
I know that, but it does not answer my question about them not being officially released on dvd by apple, along with Let it be and Shea stadium concerts, it's stupid.
Go ahead kiss'er
Who the hell is doing the song at the end starting at 5:14 ???
They look, sound, and have the same style as the Jay Ward cartoons. Bullwinkle and Rocky, Hoopty Hooper ect... even the voicrs and the animation are the same. Its rven the same narrator who did the Rocky show. I think June Forey is in there also.
0:47 HAHAHAHAHHA!
@Dan5cerKa5t LOL that happened to me in the 5th grade, but I spelled 'monkey' 'monkee'. Appearently my teacher loved Davy Jones :D
poor paul he s always getting into pdd situations
once again Paul is in trouble help and babys watch them for Paul in trouble.
02:39 XD Harrison Rules!!!!!!!!
john sounds like Inspector Fenwick in the Dudley Dooright cartoons
@Shad0wSpill I think that's Paul's tie.
@Jbugg12321 Or Beatles VI which was the US release
nice
im proud of paul. hes a good name 2 all us guys. (getting mobbed by girls :D woot!)
I can be wrong, but that tired leading man reminds me of Marlon Brando.
peerless...
4:40 Ringo..... :-D
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i miss the beatles!!!! P.S. MEGGIE I AM PAULS WIFE AND WE ARE A HAPPY COUPLE SO THAT WOULD BE ME!! THE PERSON THATS KISSING HIM !!!!!!
I LOVE Paul McCartney he is GOING to be my husband
Good Luck!!!
Yeah, Paul would have wanted that job, for sure....
This was never shown in Britain- I can see why
