13:10 I have seen this done before, but they drill holes into the metal sleeve so they can add extra welds to the shafts.
I was lucky enough to visit Gas Monkey and saw these cars…the C10 it was love at first site for me…..thank you Crazy Mike you are a legend mate. The gas monkey crew are a bunch of great guys.

I wasn't sold on the cl0 paint scheme but now I'm beyond sold! That thing came together beautifully, and the testa is freaking amazing. Truly one of a kind. Good job guys

God, I love C10.... I absolutely love them... I had a Stepside C20 Step-Side (long bed, but was going to chop into a short bed) that I was down to the frame and was doing a full resto mod (upgrade suspention to modern, 4 wheel disk brakes, move fuel from behind seat to under bed, and upgrade rack and pinion and LS3 with a 4L80E, or a T-56 Tremec Manual 6 Speed swap, lower the stance just a bit with custom paint and interior) ... build from the ground up... but at the time with it sitting in my garage for the past 5 years, I just built a new house, was in th process o0f my old house getting ready to sell, and just a ton of other things and was forced to sell off the project. Went to someone who does full restores and had a great catalog of work and so I sent it off to a home to get it done.
I'm foreshadowing that the hippie that bought the Bass Monkey blue 30's hot rod, will soon own this.
That paint job is stellar, the colors not so much..
