Honestly beef starts because of fans. So many barbz attacked Meg when she collabed with Cardi. I mean they just did the same thing to Normani who doesn't do anything but mind her business. It sucks but fans have really been the instigators in so many "beefs" that start especially for Nicki which ends up painting her as the bad guy.
I don’t think they were dissing Normani but Cardi instead but Normani was collateral damage. For the most part, they were saying that Cardi ruined the song (which she kinda did cuz it didn’t match the vibe of the song). A bunch were asking for a solo version so I think it was just Cardis part they ain’t like.

So Megan was not that upset about DaBaby and Tory’s collab. She was more upset because he reposted and retweeted a post making fun of her getting shot. It’s not the same. Meg never made fun or co-signed Cardi’s and Nicki’s altercation. Also most of these collabs are pushed and green lighted by the labels. Roc and Atlantic more than likely pushed the collab. Cardi needed Megan to have a strong come back from her last project because she was in everybody’s mouth and Megan needed Cardi for cross over appeal.

Fyi the whole beef between Cardi b and Nicki started because of ppl were getting into Cardi's ear telling her lies that Nicki talked about her child and along her parenting skills. Well the tension started before that because Cardi didn't like the original verse that Nicki had on motorsport. She took offence to it because she thought Nicki was taking shots at her with it when it was actually someone else. So yea it all started with the motorsport song.

The insecurities solely lies with ole girl because as I recalled she was adamant on Nicki changing her verse on Motorsport because she felt like she was being sonED. Then she took it even further with getting offset and 21 savage to pull out of making the no flags video with Nicki cause she felt like Nicki was throwing shots at her when in reality it was directed towards Remy. And we can’t forget the infamous lie about Nicki liking a tweet talking about Kulture which still till this day there’s no record of….

1.) Megan has been skipping her verse since 2019, it's nothing new, so why didn't yall call it shade that time?
2.) Megan has been skipping 98% of her other features, including Beyonce second verse, lil durk, dababy, Juicy J, Young thug etc.
3.) Also HGS is old & was not successful as her current songs: Savage & WAP.
1000% agree. Apply this to everyday life and it's the same result. I can live BY someone, but I don't have to live FOR someone. People always hype the beef between the women of the industry, but you got the men out hear leaking phone numbers and shit (oop 👀) and it gets brushed off.
