@@issavirgo6079 let me educate you: every rapper on the planet has songwriters write their hook’s (chorus) of their songs.. now the verses are usually written by the rapper.. and Nicki is one of those rappers who writes ALL her rap verses. The credits you see on Nicki’s songs like JAY-Z or Eminem is the writer of the hook, the producer of the song (the guy who makes the beat) and of course Nicki herself who writes all her raps.

Nicki has written for Young Thug, Drake, Kanye, and Future. I’m SURE she can write her own raps. Thug came out & said she wrote his verses on “Anybody”. She’s already said that she had people write hooks, but ALSO she’s shown that she has to ability to write COMPLETE songs.

Latto and Coi are NOT professional SINGERS like a Beyonce or a Whitney. Singing within itself is a talent and you don't need to be a writer to have that talent be undeniable, it's just a bonus (i.e Mariah Carey). I wish Zak would've made that point because where exactly is the talent in listening to a reference track with predetermined lyrics and a flow, reciting it over in the exact same way with a few possible tweaks and claiming it all as your own work? NEWS FLASH: If it's something the majority of people in this world with a tounge can do, it means that your NOT that talented as a rapper or as an artist in general and you don't deserve to really be in conversations with someone like Nicki Minaj. That's why these girls and their handlers keep trying to disrepect, discredit and diminish the value of Nicki Minaj's work, so that these handful of new girls with no talent can feel better about themselves and their pathetic careers. Now the chorus’s (hook’s) of every rapper male or female on the planet is written by a songwriter like a RedOne, or a Max Martin, Dr Luke etc… now for rappers like Nicki who actually write their raps the parts of the song Nicki writes are her VERSES. Oh and Nicki is actually so talented that she has written a few hooks on some of her songs by herself like Chun-Li & Good Form for example. An example of a hook that was written by a songwriter for Nicki’s singles are: Va Va Voom (Max Martin), Starships (Redone), Super Freaky Girl (Dr Luke), Super Bass (Ester Dean). A Rapper’s talent is writing their raps, a Singer’s talent is their vocal ability.
The only reason why I feel people spread lies about her is because of what she did to cardi on queen radio. She accused her of so many things like craving public sympathy, payola and the racist remarks along with making people question if she writes her own work. All the things that can cause someone to get cancelled or make the GP have a sense of disdain for her.

I disagree about the queen era. She has llc, Barbie tingz, CHUN li, good form, hard white, CHUN swae. All have great catchy hooks and have gone viral over and over again with no promotion. Nicki’s hate train contributed more to it’s critiques than the writing in my opinion. There are amazing bars on that album. And point blank she writes and people who try to insinuate she doesn’t really has nothing to tear her down with so they make up stuff. Imagine people doing this to Kendrick. It’s Rhythm and poetry. That’s the difference between a singer and a rapper. Mya Angelou is not a great poet for reciting And Still I Rise, she’s a great poet because she wrote it. I won’t think a song is bad because a rapper didn’t write it, I just think they are entertaining/reciters, and will not be in the same conversation as a real rapper who writes their verses. The impressive part about rap to me is the unique and artistic ways you express what you are trying to say.

As someone who was into kpop back in 2012, I really think Blackpink and YG don't care. Blackpink was created to replace 2ne1 and capitalize off the hype that kpop was getting internationally at the time. YG is making their money and the girls are able to be labeled as the best girl group without having to really strain themselves. Also, most international markets don't know the kpop scene in Korea so they don't know that there are kpop groups who barely get recognition but have better performances. This is not to say that Blackpink isn't talented but they are allowed to be the bare minimum because of the position they're in right now. It's unfortunate because they have the potential to be so much better!

If in fact Nicki has ghost writers. We would have proof upon proof because most people say she’s a B**** behind the scenes. They accuse her but not one single solitary reference track or eye witness/whistle blower has come forward.
She has admitted to getting writers for hooks and melodies. Nothing is wrong with that. Ester Dean did Super Bass. But her raps are untouched.
