The great majority of people who use computers don't do gaming and don't want to double the price of their computer to buy an overpriced GPU that they probably can't find to buy anyway. Bro, i will use my pc for web developer and some editing of video and photos which is better 5600g or 5700g?
In his productivity chart, he said that 5700g is better.
@DannysTechChannel Bro which is better Ryzen 5 5600G or Ryzen 7 5700G in terms of performance and price ( The purpose of my pc is for daily use and some casual games)
That’s literally what this video is about
Amd r5 5600G vs Amd r7 5700G
Which is better for gaming + streaming
And 4k editing
Without graphic card
You’re asking A LOT from an APU. I recommend buying an actual GPU for 4K video editing and gaming.
@@DannysTechChannel > Yes we accept he should buy a GPU......(cant run just the GPU on a motherboard right so which processor among these 2 ?) but you still didnt answer his main question. Which of these 2 will be able to edit 4K 200mbps footage with smooth timeline performance ?
Neither. That’s why I didn’t state one or the other. If it was editing 4K content, I would use a dedicated GPU. Not an APU
@@DannysTechChannel So you'll use a DGPU. No processor. God what an IQ. We are asking that if we went with a 5700g and added a DGPU (happy ?) then how does one of these processors fare. You keep on saying ill go with a DGPU DGPU....Only your DGPU aint worth squat without a proc3essor too right.....so in that scenario which processor. Oh god i hope you understand what we are saying.
Ok. We’ll if you planned on using a dedicated GPU anyway, there are tons of better options for the CPU then the G series ones I have here. I’d go with a 5600 or 5700x since they have PCI 4.0 capability. AND the 5700x is less than $200 now. I’m still new with editing so I don’t really try making recommendations on that but since you asked, go with the 5700G.
So the games aren't using those extra cores.
No, but sometimes it’s nice to have them. It makes for a smoother overall experience and allows you room to go into productivity based work.
For many games you could still get away with a fast quad core, dual core is probably pushing it nowadays. People were still running the Q6600 for many years, I still have one with a GTX 660 2GB card which runs Crysis extremely well on maximum settings. I run a 2200g which I'm about to upgrade, I was running that with an RX 580 8GB, but I'm about to upgrade the GPU and am currently running the 2200g on its own mainly as a media player and normal games machine.
@@mrljgibson well I was wanting PS3 emulation, and was thinking the 5700G would be better because I have read that emulator likes cores, it will have a GPU but that will come later.
why no one talk about ryzen with GE processor?
The great majority of people who use computers don't do gaming and don't want to double the price of their computer to buy an overpriced GPU that they probably can't find to buy anyway. We want something to run a web browser, run a spreadsheet, play a youtube video, things like that. 5600G and 5700G may have been able to fill that role but they are being phased out in favor of 7000 series that can't do it, and my understanding is that the video capabilities built into latest Intel chips can't do it either. Even the laptop I bought 2 years ago has better internal graphics than any current CPU made by Intel or AMD.
still around 278 AUD in OZ now
Thanks for the video
Which one is better for gaming the 5700g or 5600g
The video has gaming benchmarks in it.
@@DannysTechChannel one more thing should I get it with the 3050 or 3060 5600g
3060 for sure! 12GB of VRAM and more cores FTW!
@@DannysTechChannel what about a 3050 with 8GB DDR6
Nope
Why’s like only boost to 4.2
Hello guys,Im from Bangladesh. In my country 5600g is 110$ and 5700g is 175$. I have enough money which should I go for with cvn b450m gaming?
Go for 5600x for gaming, soon add a gpu
I have to upgrade a ryzen 3 5300g and my mobo erica 6 will only support 5300g 5600g and 5700g thats another scenario where you would be stuck using only these cpu s
Smart man
which is the best processor for video editing of 4k 60fps files between 5700g and 5600g ?
The 5700G. Make sure you have plenty of ram
@@DannysTechChannel how much maximum ram can you dedicate for it?
I think 2GB was the max my motherboard allowed
Gpu's are too expensive here i can make a goos budget pc with that like mid quality gpu is around 10 15k here but i can make good apu pc with just 7 8k total
wow i never knew johnny sinns was not only a doctor, but IT support too! 🤔
It's a pity this doesn't have a 5700x in comparison as well.
Wish I had one 😔
with the price of the 5700g, you can buy 5600g + rx580 gpu
Used yea lol
@@coveyking lmao used? you can buy aisurix rx580 . LMAO you know nothing
A brand new 5700G is $170.00, and you can easily overclock the GPU to 2400mhz in your BIOS.
I highly doubt you are getting a 5600G and an RX580 for $170.00. The 5600G alone is $128.00, which leaves you $40.00 for the RX580. Are you dumpster diving?
@@pusoyangbano5968 Aisurix is not always available for other countries tho. And some of them are used or refurbished 580s. Lmao
"bottleneck" says hello 😂
your priceing is way off, amazon AMD Ryzen 7 5700G 8-Core, 16-Thread Unlocked, 178.00
This video is 6 months old. Prices change.
If you have a dgpu, an apu is redundant, and if igpu gfx is required(in case the dgpu fails), Intel's cheaper.
Yes Intel is cheaper, however their performance is not as high as these APUs
I just hope intel will put their arc lineup to their latest desktop cpu, including their pentium and i3 processor
@@patlotpotlot6154 u will hv to wait for meteor lake then
14th gen with the new socket, but it's not going to be powerful tho
Maybe only as good as gtx1650 at best
Yes but the Intel igpu is worthless. So put that in your pipe and smioke it pal. Adding to the fact the apu has a cpu so how is it "worthless"?
This is probably aimed at people upgrading their AMD systems, as replacing the motherboard is going to up the cost for the intel, but if you have ever had the GPU fail when fault finding the GPU an APU is a definite boon.
With current prices R7 5700G is great deal for cheap workstation.
Me who got the 5700g for 178🤓
Very nice
@@DannysTechChannel what do you think about the 5700g vs a 5600 when paired with a 2060s?
The 5600 would be my choice. Unless you need the extra cores and threads. If just gaming, the 5600
I think intel has better igpu than amd 12600k better gaming and content creating than all 3 5600 5600g and 5700g
you pay a lot more for them.
E
I'm not sure about buying it in 2022. I'm buying it in 2024😂😂😂😂 as an upgrade from my 3400g.
5700G for $160 on Amazon right now. Building micro atx for less than $500.
