my pandemic build pc was : used Ryzen 5 1600 on a used Asus Prime b350 Plus mobo (both from AliExpress), 16GB ddr4-3200MHz Gskill Flare X CL14 (new), used gtx 960 4gb, Seasonic Gold 650W PSU (new), Darkflash Talon 4 pipe cpu cooler (new from AliExpress) all for around $740 CAD (29,789 PHP). Ram kit was AMD certified, so no worries about Ram issues with the Ryzen gen 1. Have plans to upgrade the Ryzen 5 1600 to a Ryzen 7 2700 (used) down the road. Just built that system last week of January 2021. If Microsoft allows Ryzen 1000 to be supported by Windows 11, then I might put off the Ryzen 7 2700 upgrade to when I find the Ryzen 7 2700 for around $150 - $180 CAD (6,036 PHP - 7,244 PHP)

Dpende sa needs at priorities mo.. Un 7 5700g nasa mga 18k dito sa amin. OK na to when it comes to online jobs, photo editing, minecraft and lite video editing.
Kuya Bermor, I think comparing the 5700g to the 5600x is not a fair comparison. due to the core count and thread count difference. the 5700G should have been compared against the Ryzen 7 5800. That way it is a more inline comparison between the 2 8c/16t processors instead of a comparison between a 6c/12t against a 8c/16t. Your comparison is apples and oranges not apples to apples.
thanks for the input but one of the highlights ng ating video is higher out of the box frequency over higher core count kung ano po mas effective. this is often times done specially for APU reviews dahil given po na if not always, often times mas inferior po or one generation behind ang APU variants compared sa same model number series na non-APUs. Same lang rated frequency ng 5700G tsaka ng 5600X. Ang difference lang talaga nila core count at cache. Cache tagala humihila sa 5700G sa gaming.

depende kung ano ang tinutukoy mong performance, kung sa gaming halos pantay lang, pero pag may involvedd ng productivity and multitasking, doon na lumamang si 5700g kasi mas lamang sya ng 2 cores 4 threads. so depende kung anong purpose ng pc mo. kung gaming lang, wag kana mag 5700g, mag 5600 kana lang, yong walang G, tapos bili ka video card na mura

How i wish having this kind of processors haha almost 2 months na naka tambak bagong motherboard ko habang iniiponan ko yung processor na yan pero wala pa eh it pa naman ako sa amd a6 lng wala na mag compile ka lng ng code mag lalag na, kaya hoping soon makabili ng processors na ryzen 😊

Or pag naglilive tiktok po ako sa PC. Need ko po ba bumili ng video card? anop o kaya magandang solution dito? Salamat po

Dpende sa needs at priorities mo.. Un 7 5700g nasa mga 18k dito sa amin. OK na to when it comes to online jobs, photo editing, minecraft and lite video editing.

Sa AutoCAD, single thread program siya, so 5600X dapat ang piliin mo.
Mostly single threaded din ang Solidworks. May konting workloads lang na multithreading sa Solidworks. So 5600X ulit ang mas maganda.

Kuya Bermor, I think comparing the 5700g to the 5600x is not a fair comparison. due to the core count and thread count difference. the 5700G should have been compared against the Ryzen 7 5800. That way it is a more inline comparison between the 2 8c/16t processors instead of a comparison between a 6c/12t against a 8c/16t. Your comparison is apples and oranges not apples to apples.
thanks for the input but one of the highlights ng ating video is higher out of the box frequency over higher core count kung ano po mas effective. this is often times done specially for APU reviews dahil given po na if not always, often times mas inferior po or one generation behind ang APU variants compared sa same model number series na non-APUs. [namention ko po sa vid] but no worries po sa next video natin mapapakita din po ako ng 5800X comparison which is namention din po natin sa video - keep posted po and thanks din sa input that will remind me not to really miss this part sa highlights ng ating next vid. cheers mate

What if I'm both using it for gaming and editing(videos) from time to time (I'd like to add that I'm gonna be using it for school) but i already have a 1070? would the 5700g still be "better" value than the 5600x? Would like to future-proof my PC even for just a little bit.
Neither are, with the pricing issues we currently are facing.
actually there is no point in using high end apu unless ur planning to build small form factor desktop,apu, theyre really bad price if u already have gpu buy intel f series or just buy r3600 ...dont buy latest one yet
