Im a senior right now!! I love this ...i feel like im doing things right by doing med hx before the appt. Im having such a hard time finding my class 3 and/or 4 pt. And Ive never seen one sooo im super nervous

I am a first year dental student and we start seeing patients next semester. We have to find our own patients and I’m stressing out about finding enough people for the requirements!! How did you find your patients?? Any tips or advice in where to find them?
I'm gonna make a video on this in the future. But I use my friend/family, the people that call into the school, I post on facebook (but be careful doing this) and I've used the app called "Nextdoor." I'll make a video soon and give you my tips on doing this :) Good luck!
Would you say it's possible to work while going through the dental hygiene program? I live with my boyfriend but we both work and I'm afraid the program won't allow me any time to work, even a few days a week as a server.
Some programs are different so I'm sure you could make it work if you really had to!

Missed your videos because Anatomy and Physiology +Chemistry have kept me away from my fav. Please share how you study because I'm overwhelmed. I've been out of school for 10 years lord. Prerequisites almost done just need 2 more classes and ACT coz I studied abroad. Super proud of your progress coz I've been following since before you started dental hygiene school.

What school do you go to? We had a zoom whitening webinar last week too and other school was on with us!
I actually don't share what school I go to. But we didn't have any other school on with us! So cool that we have the same things going on at the same time in our programs! :) Good luck!

I actually don't share my school's specific patient requirements. But in the future I'll share generally :)

Honestly what's hard to me could be easy to you. All of the classes have hard material, but it's very doable in my opinion :)

Are you hand scaling at this point using the cavitron or both? In quads or sextants?
Right now I can use the cavitron on anyone I want because I passed all of my hand scaling skill evals. But I only use the cavitron on calculus class 3's and 4's cause it just saves the time of setting it up. And we do it by quads :)
