This people are experiencing what went on to become one of the greatest riffs in rock history.
Still today... :D
omg.. first time i heard Plug in Baby on radio (barely knew Muse) couldnt stop jumping like a crazy!! how can a crowd like this exist?? DAFAQ
***** No I don't mean any of these meaningless stuff you mentioned. I just say that if I was there I would at least be more "active" and not that dead, just like I was when I first listened to that song. And I know Muse since 1999 (but became a real fan in 2001). So that makes me "first fun curious enough" too. So thanks for the compliment :)
Cheers
This performance a full year before Plug In Baby was released. Nobody in the crowd knew this song.
I shall correct, they all dug Muse, but Im pretty sure 70% of the crowd was high xD
Chris' face expression in pure gold :D
+Rebecca Rödel Lol total xD
I learnt how to play the guitar riff on my violin. I love matts hair
@Victor Hugo Alvarez Damasceno what the fuck
do a video of that man
2:25 when you realise you forgot your pizza in the oven
wow, the outro on this versión is amazing. they should have left it like that on the studio versión.
-LiamGama - Totally agree. Through all its carnations, this was the best.
Matthew James Bellamy Clearly was the one who tore the hole in the O-Zone layer with the absolute Power and Might of that Riff!!! And we should all be thanking him for not aiming his Guitar at the floor when he started that riff because the World would Implode, And we would be all Hurled into the uncertainty of the Space time Continuum as well as the workings of the universe at both the supergalactic and subatomic levels
I love the progressive touch to the ending of the song! It gives me chills.
This would be the only crowd Muse has played for that we can complain about, and still we gotta understand they weren't that famous at the time, still they managed to entertain some of the people, probably those who were there for the music :)
WOW first performance! I love this song!!!
That tape on the guitar body is epic
What a awesome ending!!! I love it!!!
Such a drastic change from their 1997 version
Ah. Gotta love his blue hair. Thanks for all the uploads!
Haha, I love the faces he makes
Is so funny the way he changes the lyrics xD
This concert was in 2000
OoS released in 2001
Those were the actual lyrics. He changed them afterwards
That is the last time you will see Matt with any other type of guitar besides a Manson lol
Knight of Cydonia He's playing Fillip with a SG.
I love the glass SG for unintended at pinkpop
And don't forget his original Yamaha Pacifica in the Simulation Theory Tour
Marr used some pawn shop guitar for hullabaloo at Le Zenith (the one he smashed at the end of Agitated)
j'aime cette version :o magnifique
C'mon, forgive them! This WAS their first time ever hearing this song.
It all sounds so weird without the fuzz factory
this is a very nice finish. I prefer this finish version, that the one that they make in present. Really cool, this is why we Love Muse! so pure : D
perfect look matthew...and awesome riff =D...u are the numbre ONE MATT
2:26 "oops! i forgot to turn off the iron!"expression :)
Watch this, then watch the live version from Rome. How far they've come!
Fantastico *.*
[3:50] God damn, I love this bit.
Jajaja! maldito Mateo, cuando tocaba de día le valía verga como salieran las canciones :,D
Damned crowd!
dude... the resistance tour has been over for like a year, they're starting on a new album that's coming in autumn
cool
gotta love matt at 2:30
la cancion fue escrita en showbiz pero no fue grabada y la grabaron en origin of symetry
True Muse
god was in me!!
Either chris's bass is really small or he is huge
I think the latter
@@defaulttio who said anything about a latter???
He’s like 6’1
Chris is huge bro. he's like a big bird in the group :D those two won't pick a fight with Chris due to his size
Yes I know, I didn't knew how to express that in past, I'm spanish xD i don't know english so much
The song was recorded in the 90's, but wasn't included in Showbiz... so this version should probably be very similar to the one OoS
Thanks god to Fuzz Factory....
I wish matt show us new songs in the resistance tour
whys everyone talking about the crowd?
muse was already famous in germany at that time ... bein played on mtv and such ... but the average festival people are quite experienced therefor not going crazy much, and would neither today ...
its not a concert where everyones a real fan :]
I prefer this to the OoS version, its longer! :D
You could swear the crowd were seated...
@Aurrius1991 They don't already know how lucky they are.
только Matt знает про что он пел тогда
Watching this makes me glad I like

3:06 Cat Matt
Oh maaan! Where did u gehis beginning? Thanks!.cheers
I feel blue now lol
to MuseLiveVideos : more Muse vintage vids.....more raw .......
Cause they wanted to play some song off OoS before they release the album, to see the public reaction. You can see that the lyrics are not exactly the same..
The Live Version is Far Better
+Emiliano Dean Atran (L'haflack) I think they're both good. What minds me, no one is really enjoying. Was Muse this famous yet in 2000?
Tobias De Snoo They had only released Showbiz up until that point, so they weren't really that popular yet I think
When you can’t remember if you left the stove on. 2:25
Then remember you’re homeless. 2:29
@@aaronrodriguez5779 LMFAO
did they just come up with origin of symmetry on the spot at this festival?
00:13 ---> France !
where I can get this festival and the Eurockéennes festival in HD???
How come this be 2000 when Orgiin of Simmetry was released in 2001?
There was a demo of it then they changed the lyrics during 2000 they released the final version in 2001
Ahem...
Hullabaloo, 2002?
at 2:11 wat does he say?
@jackkkoxxx German people
Haha plug in baby without fuzz factory :D
@teehee009 it's a les paul double cut. doesn't fit in this song, does it?
What was the song in the beginning?
It sounds like foxy lady by jimi hendrix you have propably already forgotten about this comment
Peter Emig I’m glad I’m im not the only one who replies to long forgotten comments
@@someone___1240 To think that time would time yours into one....
Se salió del tiempo al principio.
this aint hd..
Matt is so nervious that forgot the lyrics :D
Not exactly. This was an older version of the song. That's why it's different from the studio version.
To all people looking fondly at this: Yes, they were just getting started, but you know this was awful
have your well deserved 4 year old late "no" Max
