Looks like you made a smart decision. Kings Chariot has a lot of nice 470’s that sell fast as well and this example is gorgeous. Really wanted one but ended up going with an LX570 for better tech.
I bought my new 4Runner TRD Pro lime rush a couple years ago because of your videos and did the exact same upgrades. Just a warning to you… I had a new Rubicon before then. Its engine blew while I was driving normal on the freeway. I got a lawyer and under lemon law they bought it back from me. Jeeps are very unreliable.

I believe everyone here could care less about the Sequoia. Tundra was a great truck but nothing special. However, I was dumbfounded when you sold the 4Runner. Vehicles 100% built in Japan especially the Tahara plant, are nothing short of amazing. This GX purchase has restored my faith in your content. I'd say most people here would rather see you buy back the 4R tho.

There’s a reason why there’s so many of those 15 year old Toyota Land Cruiser Prados (what the GX is based on) still running in developing nations and the Middle East.
That’s not gunmetal, it is grey. They don’t offer that color anymore. I have them. I guess they weren’t popular enough. Edit. After looking at mine, that probably is gunmetal. Mine are much more silver.

Thanks! A bit steep at 190K… but it has had all the big maintenance tickets done at 185K. That combined with the tasteful mods and perfect carfax made me pull the trigger. 👍

As great as older Toyota/lexus models are, no one really keeps their car/truck for more than 10yrs. Having new tech > old tech. Toyota knew that and decided to go more for tech/comfort/mpg than “forever car”
Looks great! I really wanted a Lexus SUV Rx350 or GX460 2022-2024. I ended up going with A 2023 Nissan Pathfinder Platinium edition. It had 6000 miles, one owner and $34,500. It was priced at $38,500 and I worked it down to $34,500 with $10k down and financed the rest. Not bad for a vehicle that MSRP at $53000. A 2024 has big rebated but still at about $45k. I felt the 6000 miles was a good trade off for the price difference. Very happy. Have you heard anything good or bad on this vehicle? CONGRATS ON THE PURCHASE

I have the LX470 with 300k miles. It’s a tank and runs great. The 4.7 is bulletproof.
