For those wondering about the intro at start of show, here are lyrics, incredible!
And another thing.
We in the modern age operate under the dangerous misconception regarding our heritage. If one should ask the average citizen whether or not they believe humans are more evolved than our ancient ancestors they will more often than not express the belief that we are indeed far, far superior.
Surely we are more sophisticated and more capable of reason than the hunter gatherers of 13,000 BC. More civilized than the marauding Vikings of 1,000 years ago. We imagine these peoples as ignorant, primitive, barbaric. We are not those peoples.
In fact Homo sapiens--modern humans--share an inherited gene pool with the earliest hominids like australopithecus who lived 2.5 million years ago. We possess no significant physiological differences than Cro-Magnon or the Neanderthals. Nor does evidence suggest our tendencies toward the barbaric have lessened over time.
On the contrary, present day humans are capable of the same self destructive behavior, the same crimes against humanity, the same violent power struggles as our ancestors. We appear to be doomed by our DNA to repeat the same destructive behaviors our forebearors have repeated for millennia. If anything our problem solving skills have actually diminished with the advent of technology and our ubiquitous modern conveniences.
And yet, despite our predisposition toward fear-driven hostility, toward what we anachronistically term 'primitive' behavior another instinct is just as firmly encoded in our makeup. We are capable--as our ancestors were--of incredible, breathtaking acts of kindness.
Every hour of every day a man risks his life at a moment's notice to save another. Forget for a moment the belligerent, benevolent billionaires who grant the unfortunate a crumb of cost-free cake.
I speak of pure acts of selflessness. The mother who rushes into the street to save a child from a speeding vehicle. The person who runs into a burning building to reach a family trapped on an upper story. The man who can barely swim who dives into a lake to rescue a drowning stranger.
Such actions, such moments, such unconscious selfless decisions define what it is to be human.
Should the oceans rise,
Should the sky come falling down,
Should the islands tremble beneath us,
See our better nature blossom.
Should the sun rain fire,
Should Hell on Earth freeze over,
And our inner beast wake hungry,
See our better nature feed them.
Should the sun rain fire,
Should Hell on Earth freeze over,
And our inner beast wait hungry,
See our better nature feed and calm them.
Find a way through, around, or over.
At first I was like “this is so damn ridiculous” 20 minutes later. “ I’m buying everything they ever recorded.”
Nah, I pretty much stayed with the thought of “this is so damn rediculous” the whole way through
Same! I didn't really care for the music years ago because I was upset we weren't getting any new Tool (Muh Tool!) and when I did listen, I was very much like 'this isn't Tool'. Well no shit. This is different. The Apocalyptical came out and I was like "hmm, this IS different, lets check out some other stuff" and came across this concert. I think I have listened to this concert a few dozen times now easily. I also am buying all their albums that I can find. Some are really expensive, but I will find them one way or another. And do you know what is great about this? Of course you do! There are so many CD's to buy and listen to! I just can't get enough. Thank you Corina and Maynard and everyone else for putting on such an amazing live performance and producing such vibrant, interesting new tracks!
P.S. Breathe gives me chills.
This band is sick, everything Maynard does is A+
Yeah....spending too much $$$ after watching this. I still love buying CDs and LPs. There's a really awesome music store out in Hyannis, MA. It's a 4 hour drive for me, one way, and my brain is saying it makes perfect sense to drive out there to see what albums they have that I won't find around at home or online. Last time I was there I dropped $200. Doesn't help that my kids are turning into music lovers too.
Peter M new album on the way too. Any good news in 2020 is appreciated.
This was in Germany... so the Germans were like, "when is this going to get weird?"
This comment is underrated.
Germans love them!
First time listener & watcher. Puscifer was neatly filed away in my mental dumpsterfire (one could call a 'shit to check out list') for ages. Anywaaaays... AS a German ^^ Weird? Nah. But so far i'd say it's a moderately demanding band (attention, that is) & fair enough. Nothing you can 'sorta grasp' whilst it runs in the background. I appreciate that every now and then. Together with the effort put into this whole set , they give me .... a slight feeling of being underdressed ^^ That's, funnily enough, a bit weird^^ To close my sudden micro essay: High quality sound, videos & live gigs. If you'd tell me they startet a new genre called "post bohemian contemporary prog rock" in Paris, i'd probably fall for it^^ Aaaaand here come the Roosters...

Thank you my friend.
Underrated performance and band. Kids staring at Maynard not realizing they are watching one of the most prolific musicians of all time
Maynard experiments with a whole bunch of hair styles without actually having any hair
I wish I could get away with that lol
He’s really good that
Rest assured everything will be OK by the grace of God
I need that hairdresser wait I dont have hair, wigmaker!
You just made me shoot my sweet tea out of my nose. Teehee
Its nice to see Maynard has somebody he can dance all crazy with.
It's entirely possible the joke is on us. We pay for concert tickets and he gets to sing while staying flexible and getting a mild cardio workout. At times they both do things that remind me of a gym teacher making everyone do warm up stretches before playing whatever game we were about to play. I wish I had that much confidence at my job. All I do is sit in a chair and maybe 1% of the time I really enjoy what I have accomplished.
She was t like that a few years back,ck it out
Him and Carina have a good vibe to each other. I enjoy seeing both together in every new video or stream.
Carina Rounds dancing reminds me of Missy from Doctor Who.
@@petesashlyn plllp
I love that the crowd is just watching and enjoying the show. No phones!!!
Germans.
They normally play a video at the beginning of the concert saying no phones allowed and Maynard has and will stop the concert if he sees one
Kicked out otherwise!
Though Maynard's talent is unquestionable, I truly believe his best feature is his ability to surround himself of such amazing musicians.
Long live APC, Tool and Puscifer!
We met Maynard at a music festival here on our reservation a Navajo band called BLACKFIRE played 🤘TOOL🤘 songs while he sang and later that night our band DESCENDANT played and we all met him backstage that night. Then there was a women's ceremony called a basket dance on our HOPI reservation my ex girlfriend and I were walking home from there and this little truck picked us up and it was Maynard and another lead singer that was at that same music festival from a band called REDTHUNDER they were both at the basket dance and people there probably didn't even know it was him but he's a very kind and down to earth kind of guy so coolness brother was so great to meet him
MAY THE GREAT SPIRIT BE WITH YOU ALWAYS
It is absolutely sinful to even mention tool in the same category. There's more passion emotion and talent exhibited in 30 seconds of any Tool song than this entire show my God! And I'm not a massive tool fan. Although I'm sure there are many that will think I'm a massive tool for saying this.
Crap music of today!
Yep!@@TheGreat199x
You’ll find this is a common character of most people that achieve great things. Knowing who to surround themselves with and most importantly giving them the freedom to be themselves.
Never listened to them before. I'm impressed with how original it is. The show is insane. After a few songs I decided not to question it. Maynard can do whatever he wants.
agree
Im waiting for the collab with Residente. that would melt brains
It's like if you shit in his hand it will turn to gold
@ZERO_SIGNAL idk man. I can see what ur saying but I personally like alot of their songs. Not a fan of their stage show in this video lol but I def like them as just a chill band to listen to.
Yea, MJK can truly do whatever he wants and make it work
I lose sleep over how underrated this band is.
Baran Ozmen its my every day go to band..I can't get enough of pucifer..and you want underrated? check out devin townsend project album "addicted"
Baran Ozmen I know.
I seriously think 90% of the problem is the band's name. Nobody even bothers to try.
Sleep....... Dream
Don't think so, the name doesn't matter, there are a lot worse band names out there This is not made for the masses, and it's MJK's side, side band, among all his other non musical pursuits.
People don’t give the girl in the back enough credit. She’s back there doing vocals synth and guitar but it doesn’t seem like she gets featured enough. Rockin performance. Love her voice
Yes!! This is great I'm psyched I found this....late but I found it....better than never
She's hot AF too!
Agreed. I was interested in her after seeing them at Monster Mash and a week later in New Orleans in 2015. Her solo name is Omniflux. She released an album through kickstarter. Her bf is the bass player/Paul Barker, founding member of Ministry. Neither one seems to be involved in Puscifer's current recording process. Ministry is about to tour. Mahsa is doing art.
kind of hard to NOT get slightly overshadowed, under these circumstances: carina is straight gangsta, and MJK is, well, MJK. But I agree, she's got a good voice, and she's definitely got the multi-tasking down- synth, backup vocals, and playing some kind of drum at various points in the show as well.
in a WOW 5-man she could easily fill the shaman role
I've watched this show for like 10 times and am still watching....
well, it's a great performance and imo most songs sound better than the studio versions
Some say Zhu Bao is still watching this show to this day...
Saw this tour in Salt Lake City...still the best live performance I've witnessed. SO emotional...even watching this performance brings lump into my throat! Love MJK!!
Lucky...
I don`t think people realize how tight and nearly flawless this performance was.
Some of us do.
Omgosh if I was there..😍
Exactly!
As time goes by and I get more familiar with the music and watch this show more and more, that's when I realize how tight the performance was! No real slip ups that I can tell. Instrumentally clean. Nearly flawless!

.. this has just single handedly restored my belief in music, art and life
Once you start watchin this there is no turning away.
Every musician on this stage is flawless. What a heartthrob.
MJ's voice is so wonderful in this concert - he has such range and clarity! I love the fact that he has a different sound with all his bands.
I actually think that is voice sounds pretty... bad, especially at the last third of the show (aniway I have enjoyed it a lot)
TooL, APC, PuscifeR - the holy trinity.
Amen.

Amen. Something good and new for you comrade: RED CAN - Sunday Night Duel
Well said!!
Amen
I used to not care for Puscifer. This performance changed all that.
I feel the same. I didn’t like their wacky first album but they’ve acquired a much richer and deeper sound now and I love it and damn they perform flawlessly
To be fair, they've come along way since V is for Vagina
Toma was the song that got me into it, now I love it all!!!
Puscifer are brilliant. As soon as people accept that it's not Tool, they will come to see the brilliance as well.
I agree. Once they got away from the stupid shit like Cuntry Boner and started trying, it became much more enjoyable.
both chicks are on another level of coolness, gotta be said
Only MJK could pull off the look of a Luchador mask with glasses.
El chupacabra
True
🖤
Lol yes!!
Great seeing Industrial Rock bass playing legend, Paul Barker (Ministry, RevoCo) up there, and still getting work. Always been a fan of his work.
And sounding filthy at it!!👍🤘🤟
Paul Gordon Barker? If it's the same guy, I was in a band with him in Germany. I need to find out!! Just Googled. Same guy. Cool!!!
This concert has helped me keep my sanity in a very dark time and i'm not just talkin about covid
Find a way, through, around, or over.
Fentanyl?
Same seeing them for the first time 🎉
Maynard is a fucking force....and Carina absolutely mesmerizes. It's amazing to watch the creative energy flow through them
I just wanna FLOW thru Carina!
@johnrellek1 and-we-bought-MANY
Just because they are the front men doesn't mean they're the creative force. in fact, most of the music is composed by Maynard and Mat.
Listening to the harmonies going “wow that sounds sweet” then realizing it’s live not a backing track
Ya. That's called being a musician.
I spent 47 days sailing across the Atlantic. Every night on my watches, I would stare into the cosmos listening to Puscifer. It was a spiritual bond that I will never forget.
I love that Maynard James is both a badass and also kind of a nerd.
10:20 minutes into it and i am enthralled 😃
ok, now it's 18:19 and i'm having an eargasm, slight palpitations, with mild to moderate seizures
it's great 😃
truly, i say unto thee.... the most excellent show EVER
I watch this performance OVER AND OVER AND OVER and it never gets old.
Same!
Horizon. If you ever lost a loved one is powerful. It will evoke emotions, And I'm sure you've lost someone close
I can't stop putting it on again from the top myself, and after I saw them at Tons of Rock 2023, I got even more obsessed!
Maynards passionate voice never left, it just shifted over to Puscifer, and for good reason. I’m a huge Tool fan but holy shit this is something else.
He adjust as his age changes, he’s genius.
Its all a collective of creative egos expressing a passion!
Great artists. Everybody on the stage. They know how to create ambiance. Everything fits. Maynard, Carina and Masha with their pure voices. The tight band. The wrestling theme and the wrestlers. Thank you guys!! 👌👌👌
her voice brings tears to my eyes
Absolutely! It's hard to take your eyes off Carina & Masha they are so beautiful & on point!
This is my introduction to Puscifer. I'm pleasantly surprised.
The crowd is typical German. There's a Dokken video showing the band rocking their asses off and the crowd looks like they're at a tax seminar.
😂😂
Dokken were so fucking good. I saw them and rocked my ass off. GEORGE FUCKING LYNCH!
Happens the same in the north of Spain. It's the cold I guess 😁
At least everyone isn't holding up phones. Taking in and absorbing what they are watching. Lived in Germany 3 years and the Germans are awesome fans of good music.
What an absurd live show. Love it. Carina and Maynard are just hysterical in the background with their obscure, artsy dancing.
I'm not sure what I just watched but I can't look away.
Puscifer sounds amazing live. I went to this show in Albuquerque, tasted Maynard's merkin wine, got a signed mask, a money shot CD...awesome show! Unforgettable.
nikilici0us Jealous
Zachary Sandberg - Oh man!! I know!!
Man you're lucky
I've been dying to try some of his wine, but fuck man...he makes such small batches it's damn near impossible.
Good times 🤟
I have accepted Puscifer as my new Tool. It's really grown on me, it's truly beautiful in a totally different way. I love you Maynard, so much.
You can really tell even through the mask he enjoys doing this stuff more now.
I agree. Let the man create, everyone evolves. I'm happy as long as he's making music. All three bands are epic in their own ways.
Yep! took me a while to accept them to...Truly Amazing music! I love everything Maynard!!
each band he claims in his book is another voice that lives in his head and he can present
sweet, I am reading it now
holy shit i thought this was a joke band, only clicked on this out of sheer boredom but this was amazing :O
That opening speech actually made me fucking cry. So beautiful.
Me to brother & then that song they put behind it , literally, had me on my knees blubbering like a baby.. one love bro
Beautiful expressions...why all the comparing to other shit and hate in the comments? Maynard is obviously doing something different by design...if our favorite artists all stayed the same and played the classics all the time I'm sure they wouldn't be our favorite artists.
Agreed. Some people are too vanilla. Can't appreciate art for what it is. Can only recognize what it isn't. Can't like anything that isn't Tool or APC. I feel sorry for those people. I found this enormously entertaining. The crowd didn't get it either. Shame.
Brilliant, saw 2000 times, I cannot listen to any other music in the last weeks, mesmerizing!
I keep watching this. Maynard and the talented people he works with all inspire me to get my shit together and make art like this. It's not music. It's an experience.
lol it's definitely music my man
Me too bro
stop doing drugs first 😅
I would have been happy to melt into a puddle of nonexistence to the rhythm of this concert, Germany better recognize a masterpiece when it's presented
Same here! I watch this concert all the time and wish I was there. So unique
I fucking love this show... Maynard is the most unbelievable voice of my generation. Him and Layne.
I couldn't imagine wearing a leather gimp mask for an entire set. Especially with it ramming glasses down the entire time. That's gotta leave a mark.
Guitar Whores I think Layne would've dug this...💘
he worked hard for that ua-cam.com/video/zdREH1BqGDk/v-deo.html
A gimp mask? Seriously?
That's a luchador mask.
Thank you Blake, and a well designed exclusive 'Maynard could definitely kick your ass' one of a kind ... Mask.
just saw your reply...I saw Mr Bungle in 97 & the entire band wore clown masks the entire show. The last song Mike P took off his and had a bondage mask on underneath with horse blinders on. I couldn't believe it! The heat had to be incredible but the devotion to freaking out the listener/viewer was full-on. Oh, they all wore full cover-alls, too with clown suits underneath. Mr. Bungle was/is one of the greats.
Dont blame the crowd for their stunned amazement, like witnessing for the first time, a 'falling' star. An eclipse of solar or lunar proportions. The colors created when lightning hits the open land... Eyes, ears, mind, and something called a soul... Define what you want, knowing nothing, just simply open, listen, feel and receive.
This is fuckin gay
Germans..., whaddya gonna do? Rammstein's gotta do a live abortion on stage to wake them up! LOL
Also it probably helps the quality of sound in a live show recording with near silence from the crowd. Respect
Half of them probably don't know where their at.
@@jeffsingleton88 You probably avoid wiping your own ass out of the fear of being perceived as a homosexual.
Wow!! Heard for years Maynard talk about Puscifer and my love for tool keep me from thinking it was even possible for Maynard to be part of two great groups... well he most definitely is. What an amazing sound ... amazing upload. Thx 🙏
3 great Bands. Try A perfect circle ✌
I realized today that I too am a tool snob .
13 yrs waiting and I could have been ingesting this awesome art .

It's intended to get us down, don't let them get to u. 🙏
@@brianbrittain84 Shit, this introvert is thriving! I've started like 6 creative projects. Taking a page from the book of Maynard and using this time to better myself, dammit. 😁
Yes we’re all here
JULY 2020 and this bad is awesome
I love Carina Round. Great voice and awesome stage presents.
More than music this is ART
Lol. It's a joke!!
Being a Tool fan, I can't believe I've never listened to Puscifer until now. Amazing musical artistry, and intriguing performance art. Love the vocal harmonies as well. No surprise that Maynard's lyrics are intriguing.
Same thing happened to me.. i just gave Money Shot a listen 3 days ago and i cant even get over how good it is. I'm obsessed with this. I thought puscifer was just mjk with a keyboard fucking around. Was not ready for this.
This band definitely grew on me big time over the last few months. This concert right here set me over the edge
Been a rabid Tool fan for a few years and didn't think to give this a chance, DAMN was I wrong! This is the first time I've seen this and I'm hooked. This will be on my favorites rotation!!!
The theatrics are fine and dandy, but without my ever having heard this band before, it was the music that indeed intrigued me.
36:36 This harmony brought tears to my eyes. . .
Amazing! I can hear some traditional Bulgarian choir vibes in this.
I was reading your comment as this part hit. It’s perfect. Sends chills throughout my body every time.
Everytime I get some really nice weed, I come back and watch this set. It's phenomenal. Fucking amazing musicians and performers on that stage.
Absolutey flawless! Love this band!! Can't explain it....
I'm trying to give a chance. But it's just too fucking gay
One of the best concerts I have ever seen! 4/20/16 🤘🏻
His voice... I can't even describe or put into words how it's hypnotic in a way.
Yup many agree
Choking on the ashes from the bridges you've burned...
It's wonderful how maynard brings in and on the stage, people who aren't using instruments and they still just give a great and beautiful energy to the band to continue... performing!
It's very impressive they do almost everything you hear live. Tighter and more tonally aware than so many other live acts. I think 80% of the audience had no idea what they were watching

Supernatural vocals, just pure love hearing them weave that glorious tapistry of musings
thank you for having the lyrics for the intro. awesome, volumes of connection of the unconnected, may we shift towards selflessness. love. acceptance. forgiveness for grace.
One of the best sounding live performances I have seen. This band is on point.
Can watch Carina all day everyday 😍
I saw this live in Seattle. I love how they don't copyright their music at youtube, as I use their music for my dirt bike videos. What a privelege for the average person to see this live! I paid $250 for my front row tickets and it was amazing.
that, was amazing, just distilled chaos :-) loved every minute of it.
Seen these people once in Phoenix, so talented. Outrageously talented, extremely beautiful.
great performance, thank you for sharing and hope to see puscifer one day
This is so odd....cant stop.....watching..
Best Puscifer track to end the show. One of the best live shows. Thanks from Australia for the upload.
MJK (an intellectual): "I want the drums in front of the vocal mics, and the vocal mics elevated in the the rear."
Everyone else: "You just put the drums behind everyone, that's just how it goes."

I know ..i love it he is the "hightlight" of the show but remains in back to show case the amazing talent he is surrounded by
@@slantz49 he can come off snobby as all hell at times, but he is truly an amazing artist.
Super awesome.
It truly makes absolutely no difference where anything is set up on a stage like this because everything is run through the board. They could all be at different places in the arena and it wouldn't matter.
King Crimson , dunno about the luchadores
Maynard is the most underrated artist out there!!
Carina Round yes, incredible voice
Carina is just awesome. RESPECT
It's fitting.. "Choking on the smoke from the fire YOU started".. All love from Canada Maynard.
This is the best concert I have ever seen!!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
This is art in its purest form. You don't need drugs or whatever if you don't get it you just don't get it.
Most people don't get it. Their loss.
I love tool and I didn't get it didn't like it I think if it wasn't connected to tool most of you wouldn't pay any attention to it
True that you don't need drugs to understand.
However, I think there isn't some deep hidden meaning here. In the songs maybe, but I think with his brilliant and quirky sense of humour, he decided one day that "fuck it, we'll go onstage dressed as Gimps and Mexican Wrestlers, go crazy and see what happens" it's hilarious.
@kalle kanin you speak like someone who has never been knocked the fuck on out...but that's okay we have your remedy! 😀
You get it even better with drugs
That intro to Simultaneous... Maynard is nothing but a pure genius.
Only if i had the chance, my friend...Only if i had the chance.
We are a colony of puppets and fools. Our school systems are proof.
Sadly
I love how quiet the audience is. Shows that they're really taking in the experience... or they're stunned by it. Either way, thanks for not making a ruckus.
Germans are far better with music and concerts than the west. No phones filming every minute.
@@scottsharp3356 Scott I totally agree. Saw Rammstein in September 2022 and nearly every idiot was holding up a cell phone. You paid well over a hundred bucks to see a concert by one of the best live stage performance groups of all time and you're watching it through A FUCKING CELL PHONE YOU ASSHOLES!!!! By the way, all that rocking and hand shaking will absolutely be a better visual tomorrow, than looking at it as it happens now!!!! Fuck me people are stupid. These German's have their shit together. Listen, see, enjoy and let the happiness of the crowd and sound to make for a memorable experience! I am awed by this performance, and only wish I knew about them sooner.
@@scottsharp3356 Careful, last time someone started saying Germans were better somewhere between 70 and 85 million people died.
Maynards voice is amazing. Puts me in my happy place. Such a talented band!
Puscifer is by far my favorite of Maynard’s undertakings.. here he has shed the anger and rage of Tool, the angst and pathos of APC, and finally spreads his wings and soars into the pinnacle of his own genius, strong, mature and unafraid. In his video Blood to Wine he expresses clearly that he has moved on past the anger, and her some fans just want to chain him there to the vessel that was Tool for expressing it, if you decry that he should return to Tool, then you haven’t been LISTENING to his voice at ALL. Puscifer is sheer genius unleashed, and I spread my soul’s wings and soar with him.
Amazing sentiment!
Watch out you don't choke on that turd.
You have great points, but Maynard hasn't lost his anger or angst as you seem to think. The man has many moods and levels. He has a vineyard, how that fits in I have NO idea....but he does and apparently has a lot of free time to express himself. So enjoy it all, cause he's definitely one in a billion - I'm a big fan of Tool, APC and Puscifer. Love em all for different reasons and don't try and compare em to each other - all completely different with a different vibe. MJK is just 1 part of each band, he's the heart, but NOT the soul - the soul is what is released when all its parts meld together.
@@javierpena3635 hut

Can we appreciate the wrestlers on the stage working their asses of for that paycheck? It wouldn't be the same without them, guaranteed.
