For those wondering about the intro at start of show, here are lyrics, incredible!
    And another thing.
We in the modern age operate under the dangerous misconception regarding our heritage. If one should ask the average citizen whether or not they believe humans are more evolved than our ancient ancestors they will more often than not express the belief that we are indeed far, far superior.
Surely we are more sophisticated and more capable of reason than the hunter gatherers of 13,000 BC. More civilized than the marauding Vikings of 1,000 years ago. We imagine these peoples as ignorant, primitive, barbaric. We are not those peoples.
In fact Homo sapiens--modern humans--share an inherited gene pool with the earliest hominids like australopithecus who lived 2.5 million years ago. We possess no significant physiological differences than Cro-Magnon or the Neanderthals. Nor does evidence suggest our tendencies toward the barbaric have lessened over time.
On the contrary, present day humans are capable of the same self destructive behavior, the same crimes against humanity, the same violent power struggles as our ancestors. We appear to be doomed by our DNA to repeat the same destructive behaviors our forebearors have repeated for millennia. If anything our problem solving skills have actually diminished with the advent of technology and our ubiquitous modern conveniences.
And yet, despite our predisposition toward fear-driven hostility, toward what we anachronistically term 'primitive' behavior another instinct is just as firmly encoded in our makeup. We are capable--as our ancestors were--of incredible, breathtaking acts of kindness.
Every hour of every day a man risks his life at a moment's notice to save another. Forget for a moment the belligerent, benevolent billionaires who grant the unfortunate a crumb of cost-free cake.
I speak of pure acts of selflessness. The mother who rushes into the street to save a child from a speeding vehicle. The person who runs into a burning building to reach a family trapped on an upper story. The man who can barely swim who dives into a lake to rescue a drowning stranger.
Such actions, such moments, such unconscious selfless decisions define what it is to be human.
    Should the oceans rise,
Should the sky come falling down,
Should the islands tremble beneath us,
    See our better nature blossom.
    Should the sun rain fire,
Should Hell on Earth freeze over,
And our inner beast wake hungry,
See our better nature feed them.
    Should the sun rain fire,
Should Hell on Earth freeze over,
And our inner beast wait hungry,
See our better nature feed and calm them.
Find a way through, around, or over.

Same! I didn't really care for the music years ago because I was upset we weren't getting any new Tool (Muh Tool!) and when I did listen, I was very much like 'this isn't Tool'. Well no shit. This is different. The Apocalyptical came out and I was like "hmm, this IS different, lets check out some other stuff" and came across this concert. I think I have listened to this concert a few dozen times now easily. I also am buying all their albums that I can find. Some are really expensive, but I will find them one way or another. And do you know what is great about this? Of course you do! There are so many CD's to buy and listen to! I just can't get enough. Thank you Corina and Maynard and everyone else for putting on such an amazing live performance and producing such vibrant, interesting new tracks!
      P.S. Breathe gives me chills.

Yeah....spending too much $$$ after watching this. I still love buying CDs and LPs. There's a really awesome music store out in Hyannis, MA. It's a 4 hour drive for me, one way, and my brain is saying it makes perfect sense to drive out there to see what albums they have that I won't find around at home or online. Last time I was there I dropped $200. Doesn't help that my kids are turning into music lovers too.

First time listener & watcher. Puscifer was neatly filed away in my mental dumpsterfire (one could call a 'shit to check out list') for ages. Anywaaaays... AS a German ^^ Weird? Nah. But so far i'd say it's a moderately demanding band (attention, that is) & fair enough. Nothing you can 'sorta grasp' whilst it runs in the background. I appreciate that every now and then. Together with the effort put into this whole set , they give me .... a slight feeling of being underdressed ^^ That's, funnily enough, a bit weird^^ To close my sudden micro essay: High quality sound, videos & live gigs. If you'd tell me they startet a new genre called "post bohemian contemporary prog rock" in Paris, i'd probably fall for it^^ Aaaaand here come the Roosters...

It's entirely possible the joke is on us. We pay for concert tickets and he gets to sing while staying flexible and getting a mild cardio workout. At times they both do things that remind me of a gym teacher making everyone do warm up stretches before playing whatever game we were about to play. I wish I had that much confidence at my job. All I do is sit in a chair and maybe 1% of the time I really enjoy what I have accomplished.

We met Maynard at a music festival here on our reservation a Navajo band called BLACKFIRE played 🤘TOOL🤘 songs while he sang and later that night our band DESCENDANT played and we all met him backstage that night. Then there was a women's ceremony called a basket dance on our HOPI reservation my ex girlfriend and I were walking home from there and this little truck picked us up and it was Maynard and another lead singer that was at that same music festival from a band called REDTHUNDER they were both at the basket dance and people there probably didn't even know it was him but he's a very kind and down to earth kind of guy so coolness brother was so great to meet him

It is absolutely sinful to even mention tool in the same category. There's more passion emotion and talent exhibited in 30 seconds of any Tool song than this entire show my God! And I'm not a massive tool fan. Although I'm sure there are many that will think I'm a massive tool for saying this.

Her bf is the bass player/Paul Barker, founding member of Ministry. Neither one seems to be involved in Puscifer's current recording process. Ministry is about to tour. Mahsa is doing art.

kind of hard to NOT get slightly overshadowed, under these circumstances: carina is straight gangsta, and MJK is, well, MJK. But I agree, she's got a good voice, and she's definitely got the multi-tasking down- synth, backup vocals, and playing some kind of drum at various points in the show as well.

Puscifer is by far my favorite of Maynard’s undertakings.. here he has shed the anger and rage of Tool, the angst and pathos of APC, and finally spreads his wings and soars into the pinnacle of his own genius, strong, mature and unafraid. In his video Blood to Wine he expresses clearly that he has moved on past the anger, and her some fans just want to chain him there to the vessel that was Tool for expressing it, if you decry that he should return to Tool, then you haven’t been LISTENING to his voice at ALL. Puscifer is sheer genius unleashed, and I spread my soul’s wings and soar with him.

You have great points, but Maynard hasn't lost his anger or angst as you seem to think. The man has many moods and levels. He has a vineyard, how that fits in I have NO idea....but he does and apparently has a lot of free time to express himself. So enjoy it all, cause he's definitely one in a billion - I'm a big fan of Tool, APC and Puscifer. Love em all for different reasons and don't try and compare em to each other - all completely different with a different vibe. MJK is just 1 part of each band, he's the heart, but NOT the soul - the soul is what is released when all its parts meld together.
