He knew the homeless dudes, he met with them everytime he was in san jose for training camp.they always joked on who could do more push up.he tried to defend himself.but his coach javier mendez told the story on an interview with ariel helwani.

I agree. When Conor does something (punching an old man) people are like (not all) “oh yea that is just Conor being Conor, just for entertainment.” When Khabib makes people do harmless push-ups or says something related to his view of the world, people say “ohhh Mozlim extremist showing his true colours.” Obviously I’m exaggerating but you get my point. It’s kinda sad.

yeah this was taken way out of context, he's interacted with them before on occasions, and they'd willingly want to show Khabib what they are worth in the past, sometimes they'd flex their strength without him even influencing them to do it. Even if they didn't do the push ups, Khabib most likely would have still given them money.

He was actually following the Islamic principles. According to Islam one should not beg if he is able to earn through his hands and feets. A disabled person can beg but for someone who has no disability, he can not beg and it's a sin if does. Those guys had no physical problems i think, so khabib made them work to earn money. It's like you do something and get the money.
The people that critisize Khabib for making that person do push-ups are the ones that act like they care about poor people, but when they pass over them, they ignore the poor and sometimes spit on them...At least Khabib was being honest with him, showing that you have to work hard to earn money, and to keep the dignity
Even if he didn't know those homeless guys, I don't see the big deal. He's helping them get in shape, and giving them money. I usually just ignore them.

the possible reason to do pushups from homeless man, is that the man needs to realize that money comes with hard work. Just handing over money to someone takes away their dignity, So Khabib had to make think the homeless person that you earned the money with your hard work not begged for it.
Just watch Dagestan Chronicle when Khabib literally told the kids there to do push ups. There's no free money.

Ur pinned comment is very believable. There has to be a back story to this some context we're missing. I say that as the vast majority of his behaviour acts kindness and morals goes completely against him being mean to homeless ppl. He helped 50 drug addicts with his own money.
Also quite a few ppl have said that's khabibs cousin. If it was khabib the back story makes sense.
With all that I've seen of khabib I dnt think for a second he meant to be cruel.

I think in our society, things that westerners call racism, body shaming, child abuse etc is taken very lightly. I'm not saying it's a good thing but People take many things lightly/ jokingly. I guess that's the case here for khabib.

Does anyone agree that doing push ups is good for health? But not if homeless guys do this? We have charity that takes fat people to make them workout to be healthy. But having done something similar with homeless people, I do not think it is bad as it seems.
