That shot to the upper chest of the zombie with the Harpoon was all it needed for me to say it's probably very deadly; especially at that short a range.
That slow mo of the harpoon going threw its head was AWESOME the zombie blood splatter that shot out was way to cool . That slow mo deserves an award 👍
My 2 cents: those custom harpoon tips look like they were 3D printed with low infill density and with the layers perpendicular to the direction of travel, making them easy to break off. A higher density and better print direction would make for sturdier parts.
This is one big issue, but any filament based print unless post processed to strengthen it will still be weak at that size. There's things you can do to mitigate the weakness, but nothing will fully overcome it just due to the way it works.
Not sure if you're doing your own printing or outsourcing. If you're looking for more strength, increasing the perimeter count does wonders. For parts that are going to encounter stress, I like to use no less than 5 perimeters. Just my 2 cents. Keep up the bangers!

Outstanding video brother. I'm a Scuba diver and back in the day we had what was called Bang stick, which you can get in multiple calibers. 410/45/and others. Would love for you to show how powerful these are. We used them to worn off sharks.

I'm glad you did this, but you also really need to try rubber band spear guns. They are made for shooting underwater so the spear is much larger and are quite powerful. You should try and compare them to this one!
@@billh.1940 Yeah I love those. I've been spear fishing all my life and I've used everything from 50's to 150's, 1x, and 2x rubbers, and pneumatics. They are powerful, and spearing is the best hunting there is by far IMO.
I absolutely loved this video! The slow motion of the harpoon going through the dummy skull was epic. That might have been the best table destruction yet.
Another fantastic video, Scott. Geez, the Iron Fist Harpoon crushed the entire skull (it divided the lower jaw in half). That's some AUTHORITY. The Poseidon Harpoon was good, but not enough. And i believe that the Jurassic one would have been crushed anyway.
well tbh these torsos are not really physical accurate. it's just stiff bones and gelatine with some intestines. The human body has way more than just skin and bones.

Here's something you could try. Put 9mm spent cartridge or the bullet alone into a .410 shell and see what it could do. Also the ball bearing inside of spray cans such as spray paint is very similar in size to 000 buck. Just some crazy idea I came up with while messing with all my spent cartridges.

Of all the Kentucky Ballistics videos I have watched, hands down, the most terrifyingly dangerous thing I have ever seen is that table whipping around the tree and shooting off towards his truck. Okay, okay; maybe the Serbu .50 detonating into Scott's neck was a little worse, but that table was pretty scary.

In the future, it's generally advised not to load the blank until you've put the harpoon on so you aren't working around the muzzle of a loaded gun. A blank doesn't have a projectile, but there's a video by Kentucky Ballistics from a few months ago that shows how dangerous they can be!

I had a pneumatic spear gun, for diving. Just for fun we shot it, on land, into a 2x4, which it split.
