  • #THERIDERGUIDER brings you a review of the wireless digital #TPMS ..... two months of ownership - the question is, do i still rate it? #TPMSREVIEW for motorbikes. I got this from AUSTRALIAN DIRECT - info card in the upload, they're no doubt available all over the world and every rider should be diligently watching their tyre pressures. These will ensure your tyres give the best performance, safety and wear. If like me, you value how your motorbike feels when you ride around a bend, you need one of these!

    Thanks to your first video where you checked it against the calibrated one I have now ordered a tpms for my bike and I’m glad to see your still liking it, the fact you have still not had to charge it is a slight relief for me as I was a tad concerned about that side of owning one. Nice one.

    Glad to see you are still getting on well with it. I've never trusted garage air gauges, but sometimes needs must.

      +Hippo-Drones yeh the air is good but the amount isn’t trustworthy, it’s like farting the day after a vindaloo, you just don’t know what you’re gonna get ☺️

    Kind Regards

    Thanks for the review!
    Believe me, unless you have hands this size of a new born baby, your contact patch is way smaller than the palm of your hand.

      J 9 THANK YOU for watching 👍🏼 mmmmm I think my contact patch is dependant on my ability to consume pies! The more I eat the more grip/downforce I get ☺️ 🥧

    G'day Neil.
    I like the new channel name.
    Just a quick question. Do the valve caps with the built in sensors have any significant weight to them? Did you get your wheels balanced after fitting them?

    • @TheRiderGuider
      @TheRiderGuider  4 роки тому +1

      Haha thanks mate, all the South Aussie contingent on here tonight 😀 ...... bloody good question ...... they are light, pretty insignificant weight wise but I hadn't actually considered that at all! I (we) have some kitchen scales that measure small amounts so I'm gonna weigh them and come back to ya! Interesting point! 👏

    • @TheRiderGuider
      @TheRiderGuider  4 роки тому +2

      WOW - 7 grams each! With that I think it's a definite recommendation to fit them and take the bike for wheel balancing. For me with most of my riding being commuting and when I'm out for a play, less spirited riding than in my crazier years, I haven't considered it but I reckon when I do new rubber (due soon) I'll be making sure they balance the wheels up with the transmitters on the valves! Thanks mate - again a great point!!

      @@TheRiderGuider That is certainly enough weight to cause a noticeable vibration you would think, especially at the higher speeds. Thanks for taking the time to weigh them.

    Hi Nice Review. Can you tell me how to reset the device? I ordered it from AE. Once it switched on it looks like it has hanged and not responding to buttons.

      @TheRiderGuider  4 роки тому

      Hi mate, have you got it actually fitted and the sensors (dust caps) installed? It might not be hanged, there isn't much that happens on the screen, apart from when the temps or pressures change.

    hi whats the app your using ?

    • @TheRiderGuider
      @TheRiderGuider  4 роки тому

      No app just a stand alone display that receives the signals from the sensors on the valves. I have struggled to find an app to be fair.
