to be honest, I'm amazed at how much the syntax has changed Nadu as a card. If quotes had stood for one sentence before, then Nadu wouldn't be as crazy as it is
@@strainrx if you search on the channel there are some eldrazi decks pre ban, although I currently have a video with Eldrazi in the members only bit which will be released next Monday to the public
I hope they don't ban Nadu. I've been playing it paper and it's honestly not nearly as bad as on MTGO to just shortcut all the Nadu triggers. I think the EW Europe champion did a pretty good job of resolving all the triggers quickly and clearly as well as keeping all the revealed cards face up so their opponents knew which cards were known information.
I think it's also a power level problem. Frog is definitely going, and currently the format is Frog Vs Nadu VS Bauble/One Ring. We need to see all of them hit really, if it's just Frog, then welcome to Nadu winter XD
I agree that it is potentially too strong on power level. However, it's similar to Cephalid illusionist in that it needs other specific pieces (although the range of usable combo pieces is much broader for Nadu since many targeted triggers provide card advantage). My concern with how WotC is going to manage Legacy in general is: at what point can we say that banning all the new pushed cards is the solution? The situation right now with MH3 is that there has been an astronomical increase in power across the entire format, and I don't see Legacy getting much slower in the era of Vexing Bauble, Kozilek's Command, Mycospawn, Nadu, etc. I don't think it's reasonable to ban every card that's a bit too powerful instead of letting the format just trend towards a busted power level over time, at least from the standpoint of having to ensure that your consumers are not angry about having all their new purchases invalidated. IMO there are a fair few cards besides Frog and Nadu that just accelerate the game into a win that it's going to be very difficult to keep them all down moving forward with even more MH sets and Commander products that inject crazy power into the format.
I hope nadu doesnt get banned - what is this deck doing thats different than any other combo deck in the format.. you get the combo you win- that seems to be the same for all legacy decks atm.. I believe nadu is actually a good piece to bring another tier 1 deck to legacy. we want to see more decks viable in legacy to make it fun... and the deck seems as balanced as any.
@@bennosal6268 i disagree. The card invalidates other three drops and is fine on its own. It's a design mistake that makes for miserable game play as well.
@ it was miserable in modern it’s fine in legacy in terms of gameplay you see the combo the other player concedes- just like painter just like cephalid
@@bennosal6268 at the last eternal weekend, Nadu, UB reanimator and Forge all had 54% win rates. If we are banning Bauble and frog, that means Nadu is just the best deck. Even decks like Maverick are morphing into Nadu lists. It's just reducing what's viable in the format as a whole
@bennosal6268 54% is not OK and we basically have a handful of decks that are viable and entire archetypes are unplayable. It's basically "play psychic Frog and/or combo", which is not a good format IMO
love this channel. sometimes i just come here to see how other decks work
The echoey sound on this video makes you sound like a even more powerful wizard than usually!

Take a look at the arena version

Very cool video. Have you piloted eldrazi yet? Would love to watch you play that deck!
